Shaping clothes cost from anything between 500 to 2000 naira depending on the amount of adjustment you need them to do. A simply reduction in size for your khaki should not cost you more than 1000.

Just budget 2000 for adjustments sha so that you can have leftover money.

I wasn't even asked for a single photocopy of my call up letter. How strange! To be honest, the only document I was asked for a copy of was just my university certificate. Every other dozens of copies I made are still with me. Maybe I ll get to use it at some point ... But please take copies with you ooo..Better to have them and not need them than not to. I heard photocopy at mammi was 20 naira but could go up in price due to demand. So just be prepared.

Food is 5 sha.... It's not restaurant quality but it's not bad at all. 5 because the meat/fish is non-existent. I have only stuck to rice, porridge yam and bread. Avoiding beans and eba for obvious reasons. Do not want to have any stomach worries. But overall quality is not bad. Not bad at all.

You can get filling food for 200 naira with one meat/fish/plaintain (if you are not a humongous eater shaa) but look around sha...different stalls have different prices so could be higher. Takeaway is extra 50 naira so you can eat in or take your foodflask is you don't want to pay extra.

Army men are neutral sha...they are not friendly becos they are obviously army but they do crack smiles. They are humans too so not too callous. Like I said, if you are late or don't do what they say, they WILL punish you and the punishment scales vary ranging from embarassing you on parade ground if you are not standing right or matching properly to frog jumps if late to decamping you if you break a rule (someone has already been decamped for fighting...that s what I heard sha!)

Ojestas: Lol. our camp director said he's going to provide a big bulb somewhere at the back of the girls' hostel where they bath that we guys should be going there for free show. Come see how guys applauded. As he was saying this, a girl beside me was telling her friend that that's how a guy saw her when bathing that he didn't even look and leave, he turn Mario sharp sharp. . lol, We had boring lectures today, yes i call it boring. I slept ehn, i just use my face cap cover face. There were insufficient chairs, so some were standing. i could have been among them but thanks to that soldier who asked me to double up. I sighted one portable girl like me, standing. .i felt she was feeling inconvenient, then i remember that bible verse; Love your neighbours as yourself, so i offered her to manage beside me. I no come sleep again make i no headbutt her while dozing. Platoon A cooked for us today, my roomie was in charge of meat, i ate 2pieces, come drink chilled fanta on top. The guy say na beans and yam go happen tonight. i no fit chop that one be that. Na d fanta i drink finish wey i say make i update my people. I dey come, i want fill my redeployment form jare . But this first week hasn't been beans o. Brb!

cutiepie01: Am in one old hostel like that o.The toilet is not too bad cos cleaners clean them twice a day,buh the best thing is to be waking up early to bath outside to avoid stories that touch,thats what i do.The power supply is constant,even if they interrupt,within 30 minutes it'll be restored.Water too 24-7,there's always water buh if u dont wake up very early u'll meet queue.The tap is close to my hostel sha,so am at advantage dunno d location of ur hostel.
