President Buhari recently stated that his preferred candidate is a secret to him. Reason being that he does not want the person to be eliminated. This man us an unassuming charater who has been in Buhari's cabinet and close associate since the return of the 3rd republic. Towards 2023, Buhari and the northern elites are looking to see how to heal Nigeria and ensure her continued corporate existence. They believe that to achieve this, the APC need to have a Nigerian of Igbo extraction, who is an awoyed Nigerian and committed to the continued corporate existence of Nigeria. Just like the PDP deliberately handed power to SW through OBJ in 1999 to assuage SW grieviances for the Abiola's loss of 1993, Buhari and his northern elites are out to make the South East feel belonged in Nigerian narion. This is why APC will deny Tinubu and Osinbajo the 2023 ticket. The north want to be seen as EQUITABKE. The candidate that Buhari has been hiding is his fellow political friend, companion and an unassuming compatriot, DR OGBONNAYA ONU. Dr Onu has been with Buhari for over 20 years. They were together in APP, ANPP, CPC and now APC. In fact it is Dr Onu initiared the formation of APC. Below is Onu's resumè. "Ogbonnaya Onu was born December 1, 1951, to the family of His Royal Highness, Late Eze David Aba Onu, the Eze Adu of Uburu in Ohaozara Local Government Area of Ebonyi State in Nigeria. Onu attended Izzi High School, Abakaliki, Ebonyi State where he obtained grade one with distinction in his West African School Certificate Examination. He also sat for the High School Examination at College of Immaculate Conception (C.I.C) Enugu, and obtained distinctions in Physics and Chemistry, graduating as the best overall student. After his secondary education, Onu attended the University of Lagos where he graduated in the year 1976 with a first class honours degree in Chemical Engineering. He later obtained his Doctor of Philosophy degree in Chemical Engineering. Thereafter, Onu proceeded to the University of California, Berkeley, California, USA where he obtained his post graduate degree in 1980 after doing an extensive work on coal liquefaction and production of synthetic fuels under mild conditions. While at the University of California, Berkeley, Ogbonnaya Onu was the President of the African Students Union; Member of the Graduate Assembly of the University of California at Berkeley and also President of the Nigerian Association of Northern California, Inc. Soon after his graduation from the University, Ogbonnaya Onu became a teacher at St. Augustine?s Seminary, Ezzamgbo, Ebonyi State studies in the USA, he became a lecturer at the University of Port Harcourt. There, he became the pioneer Head of the Department of Chemical Engineering. He later served as the Acting Dean of the University?s Faculty of Engineering and was also elected as a Member of the Governing Council of the university. Onu was one of the Directors of the Nigeria Cement Company, Nigercem, Nkalagu, Ebonyi State. Political life: In the year 1991, Ogbonnaya Onu contested for and won election as the first Governor of Abia State. He was the first Chairman, Conference of Nigerian elected Governors. Onu believes in Nigeria's unity and as the governor of Abia State, he abolished the State of Origin Syndrome and pioneered the appointment of non-indigenes of the State into top positions of responsibility in his Administration. In the year 1999, Ogbonnaya Onu contested election for the position of the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria under the umbrella of the All Peoples Party, APP, which was later known as the All Nigeria Peoples Party, ANPP. In the year 2010, while still the National Chairman of the defunct ANPP, Ogbonnaya Onu initiated discussions with the leadership of the defunct Action Congress of Nigeria {ACN} on how the major opposition political parties could work together to effect change in the Nigerian polity. Later he also initiated the coming together of the National Chairmen of all major opposition political parties. These initiative of Ogbonnaya Onu finally resulted in the merger of the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN), All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP), Congress for Progressive Change (CPC), and some members of the All Progressive Grand Alliance (APGA), and the Democratic Peoples Party (DPP). Consequently, on July 31, 2013, All Progressives Congress (APC) was formed by the grand merger of the above mentioned political parties. Ogbnnaya Onu was one of the presidential nominees for ministerial appointment under President Muhammadu Buhari. Dr., Ogbonnaya Onu is the author of many books, including: A Footprint: Memoirs of a Chief Servant, Building a Modern Nigeria and ?Technology and National Development. He is married to Dr. (Mrs) Chinyere Onu and their marriage is blessed with Children |
JosephXavier:Dr Ogbonnaya Onu is Buhari's candidate. Take this to CBN and you will get the cash |

Mynd44:If you are right, why is Ganduje running around like headless chicjen. Anyway, tgat is APC's problems. E no concern us. All we know is ATIKU
|
We know where Afegbua's interest lies. He demonstrated it in 2020, when he stood against PDP in Edo State. He is an APC mole, working for Tinubu. Otherwise, why is not asking Nigerians to beg Tinubu and SW to respect equity that he 'preaches'? If 2023 is for South, then let it go to SE. If not, let everyone be free to contest. |
israelmao:Keep your dream in Alice wonderland. If Osinbajo contests against ATIKU, APC will be gone. Anyway, Osinbajo that is tio scared to declare cannot even win primaries in his ward, not to talk of presidential primaries. |
If you BAT me, I ATIKU you.

All Pathetic Crooks APC is the most corrupt political party in the world. Anyone thay votes Apc in next election is an enabler of corruption |

RIFANNigeria:With your "supposed socalled" pyramids, how much is a bag of rice? Benin republic have no pyramids, yet Nigerians still go across the borders to smuggle a product that is supposedly in abundance in Nigeria. Quit the lies please, we have had enough. |
Lol, the making of APC rice pyramids

Buhari and his useless EFCC cannot do anything because, just like Amaechi used Rivers state money to bankroll his elections, Tinubu also used Alpha-Beta money to help him and Osinbajo. The bullion vans stationed in Tinubu's compound a day before presidential elections was not carrying grains, rather cash from Alpa-Beta As for EFCC, those ones have been reduced to rent collectors and yahoo boys chasers. The only way Lagos State and by extension Nigeria can be freed from these hulks is to vote out APC come 2023. |
Where is NAMMABBQ to confirm this? |
helinues:You are still in serious pains. Check history to understand this has nothing in common with whoeve you are referring to. Ease your pains brother, it is too early in the day. You will have enough time to wail after 2023 polls .
|
helinues:See painment ... why are you in pain? It is just stsrting. Alpha-Beta is going down come 2023. Hisbah21:What is funny? This?

The incoming PDP government in Lagos State will reduce the daily driver ticket by 37.5% to N500 per day. from proposed N800 per day. The current amount being peddled by LASG as amounting to N3000 daily is a BIG, FAT LIE. No driver pays more than N300 daily to LCDAs agents. Let the commissioner come and tell Lagosians how they arrived at the N3000 daily fee they are calling. Do they want to tell Lagosians that a driver makes about N1.5m - N2m a month? Otherwise, how will he pay for fuel of say N25000 (100 litres minimum) a day, pay N3000 for ticket, pay N500 union money, totalling N28,500. Meaning he pays N855,000 a month and stil have amount to balance at least N5000 to owner daily abd earn income? Truth is, no driver pays more than N500 a day for tickets and that is if he plies about 5 LCDA areas at N100 each. So, the PDP in Lagos will correct this come May 29, 2023. The amount of N500 will be pulled together into LASG consolidated Transport fund shared as follows: LGAs 35%, LASEPA 10%, Harmonized PAYE 20%, all other agencies 30% and Group Personal Insurance for Drivers 5%. All revenue collection agencies would be scrapped. NURTW daily collection would be limited to N100 per commercial vehicle per day. Lagosians have suffered enough under APC theives in Lagos and this will end in 2023. All fare will be regulated thereafter by a committee of Government and all stakeholders. That the Senate and House of Rep passed different versions of electoral amendment bill is not in doubt. The question is why are NASS interested in how political parties select, elect or nominate their candidates? Each political party already have their accepted/accepsble procedures enshrined in their constitutions. These constitutions are in INEC custody. Also Buhari was clear in his rejection, that the Electoral laws have nothing to do with parties constitutional rights. All political parties can either use direct, indirect or concensus. Why is House of Rep concerned about how candidates are chosen by parties? All that was needed was to remove their evill and controversial insertion or allow the three options as the senate did. It is on record that the first bill with direct primaries was the brain child of Gbajabiamila, who personally influenced the insertion of the direct primaries clause and that was the main reason Buhari witheld assent. Now, instead of completely deleting the evil clause, he and Faleke were adamant until opposition members attempted staging another walk out. Then he surreptitiously added indirect and left out concensus option. Question is what is his personal interest in a National law? What Nigerians asked for Electronic transmission of results. Nobody have ever complsined about how political parties nominate their candidates. For example, what primaries does Gbaja want Fresh party to hold and with who?The way it is now, with both chamber produving different versions, the president will again decline assent. Except the consensus option is allowed, Buhari has another reason to decline assent. Blame Gbajabiamila for truncating ELECTRONIC TRANSMISSION OF RESULTS. |
These people are the problems Nigeria have. Why is rep averse to concensus? Or why is the senate including concensus? Why are they even concerned about how parties select or elect their candidates? |
