Romance / Re: Help, I'm Having Issues With My Woman! by vanhelsing1(m): 10:13am On Jul 03, 2018
adamsflick:
We met at school 2013, and we currently have a beautiful girl (happened before we graduated) out of wedlock but we live together and we are planing to get married before the end of the year. Actually, i love her, and I'd love to marry her because we have been through thick and thing together especially in the last year of school when she became pregnant and had to move in with me in school. I had no job, our both families were vexed at the time and even when they came to realize the deed has been done, they did very little for us in way of finances. But i had to be a man and assume responsibilities but my best wasn't enough, but she never cared she put up with me our child is a year plus now but the issue with her is, she's not romantic there's no fun in our relationship, its just like we are 2 people living together and raising a child and that's it on many occasions i have had sitdown talks with her and she'd act like she's changed for a day or two before she goes back to her un romantic self. Like i said, we have been through alot together, after my National Diploma, i had to put school aside for a while and i had to go hustle and thank God i moved us from a one room to a 2 bedroom apartment and it's even worse now considering the space we have, and now i am so withdrawn from her i sleep in the sitting room i think I'm loosing it but i want t marry her because she's given me the best gift i ever had (my child) like i said she's got all the qualities but i don't wanna end up in a union where I'd end up cheating on her. I need advices please
ma brother, wen u guys started the relationship, was she romantic but later stopped or she has never bn romantic?if she has alws bn like dis,I think u jus have to try n cope wt her situation..very likely, she is melancholic n u r not.u sed in ur post dat she has good qualities,so if dos good qualities outweighs her deficiency, plss I wod advice u to continue wt her.a bird sometimes in hand is worth 100 in d bush.sometimes too,we dont appreciate wat u have until you loose it.

CAN I GRADUATE WITH A FIRST CLASS STILL?

Yes...but we are not generating enough powerwise.

To compare...

Nigeria generates 7000MW( 200 million people)

South Africa generates 44000MW (40million people)

South Koreagenerates....160000MW( 55 million people)

Increasing generation needs at least $100bn if not more USD
Its so disheartening dat mother of Africa generates electricity like infants of africa still needing breast milk.so MANY billions of dollars have bn put into d power sector bt its bn like we gained independence two years ago cos of sheer corruption from men who d society looked up to for morals..well...what oda kingdom could I look up to except Gods kingdom cos all dis govts on earth r doomed to fail.

No everyone have the unique ability to understand the concept of mathematics and some students will do whatever it takes to say goodbye to mathematics. The challenge of most candidates includes mathematics and if given a choice, many will throw or kick mathematics away completely.

However the good news is that there are some courses you can study in Nigeria institution and the problem of understanding the concept of mathematics will no longer be your major concern.

Sports / Re: Garba Lawal Tackles Rohr Over World Cup List by vanhelsing1(m): 5:13pm On Jun 05, 2018
ichommy:
According to a report by The Guardian, a member of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) Technical Committee, former Super Eagles midfielder, Garba Lawal, says coach Genrot Rohr did not consult them before announcing the squad for the World Cup in Russia.

Coach Gernot Rohr on Sunday made public a 23-man squad that will prosecute the Mundial, which begin on June 14.

Speaking with The Guardian yesterday, Lawal said none of the committee members was aware of the final list before it was disclosed to the public.

“I got to know about the list on the social media like every other Nigerian. And I was surprised that the technical committee was not told about the list before it was made public.

“It seems we don’t know what we are doing. Rohr is the one that can answer Nigerians why members like Fanny Amun, Victor Ikpeba, Mutiu Adepoju were not consulted.

“At this moment, whether we say yes to Rohr’s list or not, there is nothing we can do again since the final squad has be named,” he said.

The former defensive midfielder while reacting to the complaints on the inclusion of Ogenyi Onazi, said Rohr should be the one to answer the question.

“I am particularly sad that a player like Uche Agbo, who played week in, week out for his club, Standard Liege of Belgium was not given a chance to prove his worth.

“This guy is a utility player, who as a defensive midfielder, can also operate as a defender in the middle and at both wings. Yet such talent was dropped without a look in. I still believe there are qualities in the team that can make us proud in Russia,” he stated.

Rohr knws wat nff can do if dey r shown d list,it wil definitely b touched.A very smart move from him.he did dat cos he kws d kind of pple he is dealing with.NFF should d shut dia mouth cos dey kw nothing bat coaching n selection n scouting of players.

Romance / Re: Lady Reveals How She Outwitted A Cunning Petrol Attendant In Lagos by vanhelsing1(m): 6:11am On May 21, 2018
Priscy01:
A Nigerian lady identified as Asake Agoro has taken to her Facebook page to narrate her shocking experience with a fuel attendant at Mobil Filling Station in Lagos and how she outsmart the fuel attendant from cheating her.

Read what she posted below;
“Mobil filling station, THIEVES ! OLE !! 419 JATI JATI !!! Imagine the bombastic audacity of this bastardly nimcompoops ?

They tried it mehn !

So I drive into the filling station on Kudirat Abiola way and ask the attendant to sell N4,000 fuel:
Attendant: Sister good day I like your hair o ! (There is wide cunning grin on his face.)

Me: Thanks. ( I start pressing my phone to avoid further conversation. Just sell my fuel lemme gerrout)
Attendant: I am done

I look up to see he has stopped the tank at N500.
Me: I said 4,000. Why did you stop it ?
Him: I thought you said N500.

Me: Are your ears paining you? How does N4000 sound like N500 ? Give me N4000 PLEASE.

(I know where this is heading because they have tried this rubbish with me before. I am hoping my rude tone will give him sufficient warning. Not today Satan)

I look down and continue pressing my phone.
Attendant: I am done.

I look up again to see that he has stopped it at N3,500.
Me: Is there a problem here ? I said sell N4,000.

Him: I already sold N500. This is the balance.

Me: But you did not clear the N500 to start from zero. You continued from N500. So complete my N4000.

(Meanwhile I had already paid N4000 with a POS)
Attendant: Madam you were not looking. You were pressing your phone.

Me: (Feeling my irritation rising with the speed of lightning with little patience for this obvious manipulation, I got out of the car and face him)

I know you have siphoned N500 in like 1000 places today but you have tried it with the wrong person. Fill my tank to the N4000 I paid or give me back my N500.
Him: Madam abeg I don sell your fuel.

Me: You want to try me abi ? I say fill up my balance this instance iwo omo ale jati jati yi ! ( At this point my voice is high and the other attendants gather round supporting him.)
The cars behind are horning impatiently on the queue.

Co-attendant: Madam please park infront let them sell to other people.

Me: Is like the petrol fumes you people inhale is making you high. I am not moving anywhere today.

I remove my tusk necklace that I bought from Lekki art market.

I hold it close to my lips and murmur a few words on it. They all back away a step or two and look at me suspiciously. I fake spit on it and hold it out palm facing upwards.

Me: If you don’t give me back my N500 now or fill my tank to N4000. You will die in 500 days time and by tomorrow morning your penis wil be the size of this thing.

If you are innocent nothing will happen to you. If you are guilty your family will mourn you in 500 days.

At first he looks at me in disbelief and suspicion. Then fear supercedes all reasoning and he breaks into a forced smile.
“Ahhh sister na wa o. E never reach to use your aristo jazz for me nah. Abeg come collect your fuel I no want wahala.”
Me: I will teach you a lesson you will never forget. I will make you a scape goat here.

I don’t want the fuel again.

I entered my car and made to drive off. He runs to the front of the car and starts begging.

“Na play I dey I dey play abeg collect your fuel o”
The other attendants start begging on his behalf.

Me: Dey look face before you try this your nonsense with people. You go jam trailer one day all of you. I don’t want the fuel again leave me alone.

After much pleading and begging. I allow him to to fuel my car. He tops it to N4500.

Him: See I don give you extra N500. No curse my prick abeg !

Me: I didnt ask you to. I don’t need it. Is it not from the money you have scammed from people today ?
Lagos. All of us are mad here.

If you came here sane you are definitely leaving with a few screws unhinged. And if you were born with some screws unhinged like me…well…may the power of the ‘Bleck Penther’ be with you.”

Agriculture / Re: How Calabar Rice City Project Will Generate Over N70bn Yearly – Gov. Ayade by vanhelsing1(m): 5:41am On May 21, 2018
fabinfos:
The Cross River State Governor, Ben Ayade, has expressed optimism that the state’s economy will soon record a giant leap with the expected generation of over N70 billion yearly from the state’s Rice City project.

Speaking during the test run of the project at the rice factory situated at the Ayade industrial park, Calabar, the state capital, he said the project stemmed from his determination to free the state from over dependence on federal allocation.

The Cross Rivers Rice is the largest and first of its kind in Africa.

Ayade said the Rice city was one of the signature projects of his administration and will be certified ready for commercial activities in June.

The governor disclosed that the rice seedlings were natural with no chemical, adding that it was time other states and the federal government patronized the facility.

According to Ayade, “When I told Cross Riverians that my ambition was to restructure the state from over dependence on federal allocation, I truly meant it because with projects like this; we are going to generate more revenue for the state…we are partnering with the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN to ensure that most of the seedlings are acquired from here.”

The governor expressed his delight that the state was on the path of economic independence even “after we lost our oil wells unjustly. We now have an investment that needs federal patronage.”

Ayade explained that should the state enjoy full federal patronage, the Rice City will achieve a yearly turnover of 70 to 100billion Naira.

He thus called on the federal government to focus on the procurement of rice seedlings from Cross Rivers state because, in his words, “we have no competitor”.

He disclosed that everything about the project was wholly local content with no foreign impute, adding that the factory can produce for 24 hours per day.

Describing the project as the biggest rice seedling factory in Africa with a perfect automated irrigation method, Ayade further disclosed that it would employ over 500 workers when operational.

Some state governors, he said, have already indicated interest to place demands.

“The rice seedlings that will be produced from the factory will be called “Cala 77” because it is very natural and totally organic”, he said.

Romance / Re: 15 Things To Be Civilised by vanhelsing1(m): 6:24pm On May 15, 2018
Tracypacy:
1. Don’t call someone more than twice continuously. If they don’t pick up your calls, that means they have something more important to attend to, or they are not near their phones at that time.

2.When your colleague/ classmate/ team-mate, neighbour, gets shouted at, please don’t stare at them. It makes the moment twice awkward.

3.When someone drops something on the floor by mistake, drops food from the plate or doesn’t know how to use a knife/fork don’t stare at them. The same goes to people sneezing, coughing or even letting out an uncontrollable fart. They are all involuntary actions.

4. Always skip using the washroom beside the occupied one. It makes it uneasy for the person in the occupied washroom as well as yourself, if you occupy the one right next to theirs.

5. Return money that you have borrowed even before the other person remembers that he lent it to you, be it #100, #100,000 or #1, 000,000. It shows your integrity and character. Same goes with borrowed umbrellas, pens, lunch boxes or any other item you borrow.

6.Never order the expensive dish on the menu when someone is treating you to lunch/dinner. If possible, ask them to order their choice of food for you.

7.Don’t ask awkward questions like, ‘Oh, so you aren’t married yet?’ Or ‘Don’t you have kids?’ or ‘Why didn’t you buy a house?’ it can embarrass or devastate the person. Have common sense!

8.When someone makes a wrong investment and loses their money, don’t add fuel to the flames by saying ‘I knew this would happen. You should have listened to me’. Don’t make failure seem worse for anyone.

9.Always open the door for the person coming behind you. It doesn’t matter if it is a male or a female. You don’t grow small by treating someone well in public or by being kind.

10.Wear ear phones when travelling on a subway, car or bus.Don’t make others taste your choice of good/bad music.Don't put them through the pain of listening to music under compulsion, no matter how good u think the song is.Always assume they are not in the mood for it.

11. Don't visit anyone/knock on people's doors unannounced, irrespective of how close, Call them up and have an appointment, some days or at least a day to your visit, except it is an unavoidable emergency, that probably involves a one on one seeing and not a phone talk.

12. When you stretch out your hand to give or take a handshake, always, always, accompany it with a smile and a direct look into the other
person's eyes. Make your handshake firm, especially for guys.

13 Try to chew your food with your mouth closed. If you don't learn this in the privacy of your home, you will surely forget it when you are eating in public. To the utmost disgust of others who have to listen to you chew.

14 Always go out with an handkerchief. With the prevalence of air bonne diseases and germs, the least you could do for yourself is cover your mouth when you yawn and sneeze. In as much you don't want to pick up something new, you should also not spread some of yours.

15 D most important one! Dnt swipe left or right wen someone hands over their phone to u to view a particular picture, except he/she permits u to. ND also, don't browse thru their msgs nd call lists. People's phones ND d contents are their private property. Learn to respect dat

My dad said: 'you will roam round the street without peace of mind for touching my wife'. He continued: you will feel the effects of my powers as a strong traditional man, it will never be well with you' Hmmm...
na wa ohhhh..young man.no matter wat ur mum or dad sed to u..u don't have d right to push u.its a taboo in so many culture. in times past,ur type will b stoned to death..anyways,jus go n apologise to dem.dey will surely forgive u.u will only go n apologize if u r humble. u r left to ur own fate.safe journey bro.
plssss don't try it again, not evn to ur future wife.
