Subsidy for ½yr is N3.6 trillion. Buhari's government has already paid till June 2023.

Well, my issue is not if this money for subsidy will be enough or not to offset the country's debt.

My concern is, will they actually utilize this fund for official purposes or will they still loot it again.

There is no fund, they were borrowing money to pay the subsidy, government is still owing NNPC huge amount for subsidy, it is senseless to be borrowing to pay subsidy that ends up in the hands of smugglers while the rest of us suffer due to indebtedness and scarcity of the fuel, imagine budget for subsidy is higher than budget for education and health, removing it will free the government and masses from the huge payment and we can face something else, government of Tinubu will be challenged to perform because every citizen is expecting the subsidy removal to make a difference.

There you go with the mix-up! Paying bills and subsidy removal are two different but related issues. One is controlled by the government and the other depends on the individual's usage. The justification of paying bills abroad is not an excuse to impose such hardship on the masses in the name of subsidy removal. First and foremost, the reason for removing the so-called subsidy is not only ludicrous but also not in accordance with common sense. Like I said, if the government is tired of subsidizing fuel (which is an aberration in the first place), they should fix the refineries. How do you explain it that a country has crude oil but no functioning refineries. Una no dey shame to make excuse for government ni?

Secondly, justifying subsidy removal because the subsidized fuel is ending up in Benin Republic and other neighbouring countries is also idiotic. What happens to border policing and other security measures that could have been put in place? Or beheading is the only solution to headache? I'm sure you were alive when Buhari closed the border with the justification that he wants the country to increase her rice production. How far about that policy? Shey our rice production don increase?

Thirdly, why is the government asking such sacrifice from the people that they themselves cannot make? How about they reduce their bogus pay? How about merging some redundant agencies? How about practicing unicamera legislature to reduce the cost of governance? How about practicing part-time legislature? How about probing and recovering our looted funds from corrupt politicians?


Fourthly, the citizens know very well that all the noise about 'chanelling the subsidy fund' into other areas is just hogwash. Even a village idiot knows that the money will be looted.


In conclusion, have you ever stopped to ponder over the monumental hardship that this subsidy removal will cause to the masses? Transport fare has skyrocketted. The price of goods will increase, everything will become expensive especially in a country where majority are living below the poverty line. Na to kill the masses kukuma remain. Truly, George Bernard Shaw was right when he said; 'History does not repeat itself, it's humans that don't learn from history'.

As usual obedients shallow thinking signature on display, for everything you wrote up there, there is a very simple fact that will prove them hogwash and I'm sure many well informed intellectuals know what I'm saying but I don't have the time to argue or prove any point with you knowing full well that your bias has blinded you to logic and reasoning, imagine such level of thinking, I think my time will be better spent than educating you on simple economics and politics.

What happens to setting up a task force to curb this menace? What happens to effective border policing? There's a reason why illiteracy is worse than cancer. There's no single economic benefit of this subsidy removal. Please don't say that the money will be diverted to other sectors because you and I know if won't. Rather, it will be looted in broad day light.


Secondly, the law of equity says that; 'He who must come to the table must come with clean hands'. If the government is truly sincere about the development of this nation, why can't they reduce the running cost of governance? Or is their bogus pay not affecting our recurring expenditure? See, they ain't bearing any brunt but they are telling the citizens (who are already going through a lot) to sacrifice for the greater good. If you cannot see the insincerity of our government, then you need to have your head examined.

But you are ready to Japa at the slightest opportunity, you will sell your house and properties and carry ten million naira to Japa to a country where they don't cut anyone any lapses and hussle, where you will not be able to flush your toilet after urinating because you pay heavily for water, you manage electricity because you know evetime you switch on the light you are incurring bills which you must pay, you pay tax without complain and you work your ass off just to pay bills, but you will not complain, no subsidy, you will not complain. You sacrifice to build another man's country but when it comes to Nigeria your country you feel you have a right to insult the government at the slightest opportunity, you refuse to cooperate with government development policy and later complain that Nigeria is not good.

The fuel subsidy that was already removed before Tinubus inauguration, if your clueless Peter Obi had won he would have met the same status quo as Tinubu met on ground, unless he would use his own money to subsidize the fuel because there was no money anymore for that but huge debt, imagine borrowing to subsidize fuel which end up benefiting the rich more, but you wouldn't know because your mind is already beclouded by hatred for Tinubu, you guys need to research more instead of just reacting emotionally due to your biases.

The ideas of Tinubu copying Peter Obi is a very ambitious if not ludicrous one from obedients. Peter Obi will never be able to hold a candle to Tinubu when it comes to ideas, leadership and effectiveness. Take that to the bank.

When I became a Muslim I discovered that as a Muslim anytime you say one of your daily prayers if you have a shop or business you experience a boom around that time and generally if you practice Islam diligently you experience progress and prosperity especially if you attend the mosque daily, try and locate a big major mosque and visit there often, then make sure you and your environment are always very clean, try and make your environment beautiful and luxurious as much as you can and you will see the money coming in, also there is Monday and Thursday fasting we do in Islam weekly if you do it you will kiss sapa goodbye forever, there are also many prayers that you can do and money will flow to you if you can sacrifice time to do them apart from the five daily prayers, you will get to know this if you become a Muslim,

But beware because there are many mosque and Muslim sects that are not doing Islam correctly and if you join them you may not get the results you should get, those Muslims that practice herbalist things, those that have introduce other non Islamic thing to the religion, so you need to be careful, also if possible move to a predominantly Muslim area where you receive the same anointing as everyone not mixing up with xtians or ritualist who will defile your holiness because Islam is about holiness, whereas Christianity makes you unholy so you can qualify for grace.
Don't be discourage by terrorism because it is mostly the results of wrong practice of Islam or anger of God against sin because Islam brings God down and He will not condone evil like Christianity allows. Another thing I need to emphasize is that you must not be dirty and you must learn all Islamic cleansing method and avoid sin if you want to see result. Check out most Islamic population and you will see stupendous wealth, northern Nigeria is like it is because of extreme filthiness, still they have many wealthy people, go to many Islamic Yoruba town such as Ilorin, oshogbo, Ibadan etc and you will see the wealth among the Muslim population there. Even if you are selling cars just pray salat regularly in your shop you will sell abundantly. You can work it out if you care for your life because everybody that do money ritual will regret in this life and in eternity, it's not worth it. I understand many people think there is no God in Islam but you are very wrong o, Islam is the solution to most problem because it brings you close to God.
