AjanleKoko: Not serious jobs or serious companies.
If you don't appear in front of Agbelusi and Sons in a suit, they might forgive you. But try interviewing for a graduate entry position in any of the multinationals in your skinny jeans.
I work for GUINNESS (A MULTI-NATIONAL) and i passed the interview without sporting a suit. All i had to do was dress

corporate and be the best man for the job. wink

PoliticsRe: Olusegun Obasanjo Is Standard For Good Governance by vanstanzy(m): 9:13pm On Mar 04, 2013
iamnigeria: The Northern States Governors Forum has paid tribute to former President Olusegun Obasanjo who clocked 76 on Tuesday (March 5, 2013). The governors said that the former Nigerian leader has lived a life of service to Nigeria and humanity.

The Chairman of the Forum and Governor of Niger State, Mu’azu Aliyu, said Mr. Obasanjo remains the reference point for good governance, statesmanship, diplomacy, conflict resolution and prudent management of resources.

In a statement, the Northern governors said Nigeria is lucky to have former President Obasanjo at every turn in the march to nationhood.
The forum recalled that Mr. Obasanjo had a distinguished carrier in the military and then went on to become Head of State and later democratically elected president, during which period he showed rare vision, courage and exemplary leadership.

“It is no longer news that in 1976, destiny beckoned on General Obasanjo to become Nigeria’s Head of State; an era that ushered in huge developmental drive in our journey to nationhood and in the exercise of greatness, he voluntarily relinquished power and handed it over to a civilian administration in 1979.He returned to the presidency in 1999 from the verge of death to the flourishing tree of democracy he planted, this time as the gardener and the nourisher,” the governor’s said in the statement.

The governors poured more encomiums on Mr. Obasanjo saying he left legacies in all sectors of the economy.

They said they are proud to be associated with the achievements of the former leader, especially his contribution to the deepening of the nation’s fledgling democracy.

The governors prayed that God grant Mr. Obasanjo excellent health, courage and many more years of selfless service to Nigeria and humanity.

PoliticsRe: Fashola A Military Governor In Civilian Uniform by vanstanzy(m): 9:00pm On Mar 04, 2013
-He unleashed the military on protesters and cowardly recoiled like a true son of his region to blame it on the Federal Government.

- He deported both indegenes and non indegenes alike outside Lagos state

- He used okadas to run his campaign and once again employed the military to sack them ruthlessly

- No remarkable dividend of democracy in Lagos State

- He, as a proud bigot and jealous of the igbo dominance in Lagos state shut down Ladipo market to fight igbos, a market that is not even amongst the dirtiest in Lagos State.

@op, i have a question, if i may. Where on earth did u get all this crap? huh shocked shocked

Biafra rep: I am a bonafide indegin of Imo state and God forbid that I would be a sycophant but truth be told, Imo state has never had it so good since the time of Dee Sam, from Owerri to Orlu and Okigwe down to the rural areas, you will see massive developmental projects going on, this leaves me wondering were on earth Rochas is getting the money he is using to execute them. Is Imo state this rich and if we are why didn't the previous PDP governors do anything tangible? Nigerians are no longer gulible and ignorant and Imo has got enlightened citizens that can not be easily decieved. This is the begining of the end for PDP!
Told them abeg! grin grin grin Is it true that for the first time in a very long time, Rochas paid bursary to Imo state

indigenes. Am an Imolite and need to confirm this. smiley But one thing is for certain Rochas is doing well, while PDP is

doing "sinkhole!" grin

PDP accused Okorocha of squandering the goodwill and support of the people by failing to deliver any tangible project nearly two years after he assumed office, regretting that they made a big mistake in entrusting the state to the governor.

SportsRe: CAF Yet To Pay Super Eagles AFCON Prize Money - NFF by vanstanzy(m): 8:04pm On Mar 03, 2013
Cosmopolice: According to reports, the Super Eagles have not received their prize money for winning the 2013 African Cup of Nations in South Africa last month.

As earlier announced by CAF, a prize money $1.5M (N238m) was to be awarded to the winners of AFCON 2013. Nigeria defeated Burkina Faso on February 10, winning the competition.

And to confirm this, CAF openly handed the Super Eagles a dummy cheque, indicating the total cash prize due to the winners. So far, the Nigeria Football Federation says that’s the only cheque they have in their possession.

Dr. Shehu Adamu, an NFF board member confirmed this to THISDAY on Monday night that the ‘Glasshouse’ was yet to receive the prize money from CAF two weeks after the competition.

‘We have not received any alert from CAF regarding the Africa Cup of Nations prize money. We have sent our account number to them and the money is yet to hit the account. We are still waiting for them to pay the money’, Adamu said.

Other reports say CAF is ‘playing hide and seek’ by delaying the prize money redemption as a strategy to make Nigeria pay the disputed TV rights fee of 8.5m euros (over N1 billion) which CAF President Issa Hayatou claimed Nigeria was owing to the confederation over the broadcast of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The refusal of Nigeria to pay the huge rights fees demanded by CAF agents, resulted in the non-telecast of the Africa Cup of Nations matches on local television stations, prompting Nigerians to watch the matches on pay per view television.

Above is the main reason for the delayed pay, and NFF is claiming DAFT. The broadcasting

rights money they refused to pay is hunting them now. tongue tongue tongue Abeg make them shut up jor. Afterall, i no think say the
