Heard this over the cnn yesterday and i think its rather unfortunate. The Pope has just passed his notice of resignation 4 the meantime. His resignation proper takes effect 28 february. He'll be the 2nd pope to resign since 1415.

19 years ago he lifted the cup of nations as captain of the Eagles. 19years later he lifts the cup as coach of the Eagles. S. Keshi is the second man AFCON history to reach this feat.
