Exactly my point. Nigerians aren't as stiff-necked as some persons think they are. With the right regulations and a will to enforce them, so many of the ROTs in our system will be cleansed...
That's true spit right there! smiley smiley smiley

SportsRe: Is Joseph Yobo a good Captain by vanstanzy(m): 10:21am On Jan 25, 2013
JOJORHYMES: YOBO was super eagles problem.

From the two careless errors he committed early in the game i knew the defence and by extension the entire team will have problem . As the captain and very senior player he lack the leadership quality needed on the pitch.

He could not lead by example talk less of inspire confidence in the players. Was he just included to enable him break the record of most capped player.I prefare a younger more disciplined player if there is no experienced leg.

Winning can not be possible all the time.but yobo is not doing it right.
The nigger has never struck me as both a good defender and Captain. Nigeria needs someone who can stand as a solid wall in our defence line. Someone fast, fluid and aggressive! cool cool cool

Continuing, the CPC scribe said, “as a responsible political party, we cannot be cowed by the indignity and loquacity of a crude presidential aide in failing to discharge our responsibility of nudging those that bear executive responsibility on the gaping need for security.’’

Both of you lack comprehension skills..

Didn't you see where I said the problem pre-dates GEJ??

My grouse is that even when such rot is exposed, he handles the culprits with kid-gloves.... This inspires no confidence in the people he's leading..
Just to make things clear, comprehension isn't my problem and has never been, i understood ur comment well. On the other hand, it seemed u were blaming GEJ. Now that its not what it seems, i take my comment back.
U know, u are right it takes but one man at the top to start effecting the change, while we, the followers do our bit.
Attitudinal change is whats mostly needed, cos our attitude is what fuels corruption in Nigeria, at least GEJ once admitted to it. As long as our attitude towards our Nation remains like this, CORRUPTION will be here to stay.

GARRI (x7):
While the rot in the system Pre-Dates GEJ, it is shameful to note that he handles most of these issues with kid-gloves.

This inspires no confidence in the followership. It doesn't show he's one who can bring the transformation that we need as a nation..
Ur username says it all, u re thinking the way u usually do. angry angry angry angry The blackman just wants to blame every of his incompetence on someone. Forget GEJ for once, and lets look inwards at the rot in the system. angry angry angry

Why am i not surprised. @Op, u are right, the deplorable condition is a National phenomenon. PoliticsRe: 20 Die As Plateau sects Clash Again by vanstanzy(m): 8:31am On Jan 25, 2013
If it were possible to alter goegraphical locations of a place, i would have suggested that their geographical locations be moved way apart so that they don't see eachother eye to eye. Why can't people be matured for once and learn to live peacefully? See what illiteracy is causing. LITERACY will put a stop to this.
Is this now a monthly tonic in plateau state? huh huh huh huh huh

PoliticsRe: Ministerial Nominee To Chase Out Demons In The Power Sector by vanstanzy(m): 11:37am On Jan 24, 2013
Asked how he intends to deal with the mafia in the power sector if appointed Minister of Power, Mr Nebo said that he would chase out the demons frustrating the growth of the sector.
He said that some highly placed Nigerians still believe that witches are responsible for the problems in the power sector “but I believe that God will give me the power to chase out the demons in the power sector.”

"As much as i believe in God and demons, and i believe evil lurks in the power sector. But with the little i know, one doesn't offer spiritual explanations for economic or political problems."

CrimeRe: Pregnant Woman Burnt To Death By Her Brother-In-law In Imo by vanstanzy(m):
The youths of the village who could no longer bear the violence of Chibueze had to fish him out from hiding and hand him over to the police. Many members of the community said Chibueze Njoku had, before the latest massacre of setting his elder brother’s wife on fire, been a terror in the village. One of the community members, a man, said the people, including his family members, were afraid of him, as he had once threatened to kill his elder brother and his children.

Thank God the youths handed him over to the police instead of resorting to "Aluu" justice. *Sigh of relief!* Noone should take the laws into his own hands ever, not when the law enforcement agencies are there.

madan: Hello lovers of Nairaland! I just thought about this and wish to know your view on it. I want each of you to tell me the celebrity you would marry if you have the opportunity to do so. And also tell me your reasons for picking that celebrity. As for me, I would love to marry Joseph Benjamin, the regular host of PROJECT FAME WEST AFRICA, who is also known as Tega in Tinsel. I chose Joseph because he is handsome and seems to be a cool guy. I love the way he speaks and also his dress sense. He is very very charming. I love him.
