These two are professional courses...
They often shortchange each others work...
My advice is this; while in school try to gain practical knowledge by visiting construction sites....
The building industry is a sustainable one...

As a student years back @ Esut, I was pressured by some idiots to join their gang(frat)... I didn't succumb to all these because of my poor mum who sells food by the road side to put me through school then.

I have a masters degree in Architecture.....
Architecture pays my bills today....
With time I will go for my P.hd.....
The problem is that the school doesn't prepare you to solve problems related to your field of study....
Every course has a challenge that it is meant to solve in this society of ours....
Another thing is studying smart, socializing and meeting people that can influence you even after leaving school.....

This is the reason why I advice Jambites to go for self employable courses....
Don't be in a haste to enter the University....
I studied Architecture in the University. I went for my Masters immediately after NYSC....
I was combining my practice with a teaching job where I take home 25k.
Early this year I left d job to focus on Architecture.....To God be d glory. Amen

I just left my teaching job of 25k a month to focus on my architectural career....
I have an M.sc in Architecture and I am putting in my best to make a living out of it....
Most salary jobs in Nigeria are modern day slavery....

I only know of Architecture......
I don't know much of sociology....
People should try to study self employable disciplines.....
There are no jobs out there....
Study courses that will solve problems....
Sustainable courses like, Medicine, Law, Engineering,Architecture,etc

Don't give up brother....Try to start something(may a teaching job) to keep body and soul together. Then, from there you can look for better paying jobs. Also, try to multi task and positive.

I thought this men are there to make laws and reforms that will be beneficial to every Nigerian. They receive salaries, why should a special amount about be given to them as wardrobe allowance. Civil servants in Osun have not been paid for 11 months, boko haram are busy destroying lives and property of people in the north and our leaders see doing nothing. The price of petrol is still high, graduates are unemployed, there is no electricity,etc. Is so unfortunately being a Nigerian.
