Over the years I've always inquired on the belief of the afterlife according to the Yoruba tradition.

Why do the Yoruba's believe life originated from Olodumare and where will man go after death?

Do they also believe there is a Heaven or Hell where one will go after death and be judged by their deeds on earth?

I've always pondered about the belief in reincarnation as seen in such names as babatunde, yewande, iyabo and the ancestral visits as the egunguns (masquerade) claim or a return of the ori (soul) to olodumare

When a man dies and coincidentally a child is born in the family do they really come back to being or is it a way of consoling the family of the deceased making them believe the deceased came back to life in another form?


Is incarnation or Akudaaya actually real or some kind of fictitious assertions to make people believe in them?

What is the fate of Esu, Obatala, Sango, Oya and the rest of the gods?

ESU , OBATALA,OYA, SANGO are NOT gods, the are called orisha. orisha means ori ti a sha . the head we specially selected. we venerate them to annex their energy , we do not worship them . yoruba only worship oludumare. yoruba traditional religion is monotheistic.

The Yoruba afterlife consists of Reincarnation. However, what distinguishes the Yoruba reincarnation concepts from Indian versions is that Yoruba version explain that you reincarnate from your ancestors and into your descendants. The Indian version is a lie crafted by Aryans to deceive the Black Indians into believing that they can reincarnate into other castes so there's no reason to fight against the higher castes but just hope to reincarnate into it in the next life. So don't believe you will escape that way either. The Odu Ifa tells us that we will all reincarnate until every single human has reached. enlightenment. We are a communal species.

When you don't understand this truth about reincarnation, you will not take efforts to improve the conditions of your clan or ethnic group because you think you will escape it in death's heaven or join another ethnic group in reincarnation. Then when you return to Earth in the same oppressed ethnic group, you complain even though in your former life you did not fight to liberate your ethnic group.

You must understand this cycle. Though the Europeans and Beige race pretends to be Christian, they understand true Reincarnation very well. This is why their clans establish strong dynasties and they accumulate wealth not just for them, but for the next three generations after them. They know they are coming back and they want to be wealthy while they sell you the lie that you can die and go to heaven to escape this cycle.I.e., Black folks. You will not escape your oppression in death's heaven nor in Indian reincarnation.

You are going to continue coming to Earth as a Black person and you are going to continue to struggle as Black until you begin to plan for the progress of Blacks three generations into the future (that you have enough prosperity that you can take care of your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren).

No sir, that is not my claim. Getting fact requite more than just visiting channels. You yourself should have all the require tools to do it. Have you seen where lawyers are analysing video in the court room. Video may be documented just to suilt a particular scenario.

But at times like this i expect you to give atheists credit.
People dont become atheist out of indoctrination. It is a decision they make after thinking through what they have been thought. after asking question and finding no answers.
They are bold enough to call God (a name that brings every theist to his knee) bullshit. it takes a large amount of self will and trust to do this. We call God a bluff and tell ourselves we can handle life on our own... thats self belief and inner strength. how dare u associate such boldness with suicide?

but at the end of the day we are humans. everyone has his threshold and breaking point. Dont just point accusing fingers when we break like everyone does.
If you understand that theists who claim to have a God they run to in times of despair can be suicidal, you should also understand that atheists who claim to have themselves for survival can also be suicidal.

Do i not said that earlier, depression is a normal reaction to loss or life struggles. But when intense sadness -- including feeling helpless, hopeless, and worthless -- lasts longer it become unbearable and may lead to suicide. Since many religious are trainned to keep on hoping through prayer and counselling from their member, priest and clergy men. They tend to overcome the situation far better than non religious folks. Most of the atheist today are in one way religious before they settle for atheism. Pls am not interested about this name of a thing argument. No postmortem has ever link the cause of any death to atheism.... It is either depression and over worried which is associated to their way of life..... Religious folks also experience these but it is very minimal when you compare it to the atheist.....

sometimes ,, video too can be biased. It is YouTube. Every information are not reliable. .. My advice to those who love claming validity through Yout ube video.

2 use the video to buttress your fact not to validate your fact.

And lastly do not take it serious when it comes to matter of subject you are not versed with.


YouTube is good to validate football match or any soap opera......becareful with its use when it comes to history ,,, mathematics , science....it is very risky....

I don't know what happened that led to the closure of that thread but since the thread was focused on atheists and their personal lives, why would you find it shocking that se.un was used as an example?

I only had issues with the claims associated with him which couldn't be verified.

But as far as I'm concerned, they were all related because I got to know the personal views of some atheists like the one who created the thread on why atheists can be said to be depressed or lonely, why not all of them are depressed and how the environment play a role in their depression.

When you are fuelling your car, you are tapping the good of work of this natural event. . So because it floods when it rains, it should not rain again abi? Why are mankind not satisfy with anything? you do not even know how tsunami occur.. tsunami occurs usually after major earthquakes or large landslides within the ocean. Waves will take some time to reach the coasts. GOD has provide mental capacity to weaken it. have you heard of air bubbles? construct a long pipe near shore. blow air which can be released in holes along its length the moment the wave arrives . that is just one of it anyway,

The earth was perfect, earthquakes, tornadoes, hurricanes are natural event and not natural disaster, it has being happening over billions of years (i. e) before the arrival of modern man. the word natural disaster which denote imperfect is is coined by human. for his own center notion. i will call it anthropocentric position

The truth is that if there were no humans, there would be no disaster. The good side of this is that while it maybe impossible to stop earthquakes, God has provide us with the means in the same earth to prevent this disasters. . The roots of large trees can strengthen the ground and structure and even decrease the likelihood of sliding during earthquake occurrence . but these trees are taking away by human selfish interest.
