what is statistics really? Future projections are based on past trends. U study the trends and forecast. 2017 and 2018 budgets performed below 50%, to me that's highly unacceptable. What gives you the optimism to think 2019 will be any better considering u are going into a general election with lots of uncertainty to consider?

I seriously doubt that. They are overly optimistic. At the end of the day budget performance will be kept an an all time low. Not good for a country looking for FDI

Certainly they are jokers. I read where it was stated that total actual revenue for 2017 was N2.38trn and first half of 2018 stood at N1.74trn. But here we have a government raising the expected revenue for 2019 to the tune of N6.97trn. Even when u join 2017 and 2018 revenues together it won't be enough up to that of 2019, and hey! There is a lot of projects politically inserted into this budget to woo voters. Bottomline is that, we have jokers who are overly optimistic without minding the consequences.
One of such consequence is that the stock market has immediately responded and weakened by a whooping 0.34%!
Others will follow.

Anything that held Mu'azu from joining the APC since 2014 may likely hold him back. But to me, the question is, why woo a northern heavy weight if u claim u have Bauchi and all north-west in your pocket. Are you looking for block votes?
