mutter: Your husband went down on his knees and apologized for raping you over and over again!
Please someone give me a glass of water I have to swallow real hard, to digest this as real!
I wonder if you really know what the impact of abuse is. You might think that everything is okay, but someday even years later something happens that triggers you and all the emotions come up again. You find yourself in a situation that you can hardly cope with the situation and everything just comes up and chokes you. but you know this jist is fake na... even naija Africa magic is not as perfect as this... both the robedu and the blesie are one person playing with our heads... I strongly suspect mumumugu. |

Na wa oh. You owe non of the louts any apology arrant nonsense
Am not particular about the kitchen iss but as a guest people should be more polite. However, I understand the lady's point of view, she may have wanted a peaceful weekend but the boyfriend possibly wanted a cheaper option hence her aggression and maybe woman of the house had probably been giving her condescending looks and all hence her reaction.
Anyway, if I were you I would be more concerned with my husband not standing up for me than anything else I taya oh... u sha dey tok true some times |

mutter: I am not a man So all this trash you emptied here did not fall into my bin.
As a woman I strongly object to you calling that woman a Love peddler. That is a young girl that was at the very worst deceived into believing she was in a serious relationship. She was doing what most ladies and men do - having a relationship and hoping it would lead to marriage. When I encourage women to have respect and be submissive, some women here cry out that I do not have regard for women, some even think I must be a man. But I have so much regard for women that I respect them as women. I would never address a fellow woman as a LovePeddler.
Let me tell you something. Some very bad and useless girls out there have had the luck to be put in a mans house. But believe you my there are so wonderful very decent girls out there that deserve it more than you and are much more respectable than you. That have a more decent relationship than your marriage. she did not call her a love peddler. it was after everything that op got to find out she was not the main chick. if only the lady behaved well, op would have even changed her initial mindset towards her... I want to ask you a personal question... is that how you visit your husbands friends and assume lord of the ring in their wives' kitchen? nothing like ego here abeg. why didn't the girl wash plate if she really wanted to make things easier for the whole house.... its true that the op would have ignored her. but as humans, our brains are not wired to take the more sensible option at such scenarios |

HFOG: I hope me story doesn't bore you. He noticed me first some two years before I knew he existed. We finished from the same school. I was two years ahead even though he's much older than me (more than a decade). I noticed him in my final year. He was the fellowship's president. The Lord gave me an assignment which was against the fellowship's procedures. I tried to excuse myself and to prove my point I eagerly went to meet my lord for permission not to do what the Lord was asking me to do. Suprising, he said I should feel free and do it. That was the first time I took note of him. Second time, I had a baby in school (fresher). She had access to all my things and we were very close. Suddenly she began to keep malice with me. I think we had an issue or so. I pleaded and pleaded with her to no avail. Others did on my behalf too but she didn't yield. Then the Lord told me to tell my lord which I hesistantly did. Like film my baby changed. I do not know to date what they discussed. But that incidence struck me. Third occasion - I was struggling with the Lord in my room over watching a movie as opposed to reading. I kept lingering till my lord sent me an SMS on obedience not knowing what I was doing. Immediately I dropped the movie and read. The final one - I had a number of suitors and I was particularly attached to more than one. I'd turned down some but my home church get plenty procedures for marriage. Me lord wasn't one of me suitors. I grew restless one evening because one of the suitors was to call for my response and I wasn't decided. In the midst of my restlessness me lord sent an SMS pleading with me to tell him why I was bothered. That was it for me. I felt irritated like someone was spying on me and crossing his boundaries. I mean all these incidences within a semester. I could hardly call them coincidences. We weren't close yet he knew all about my walk with the Lord. Inasmuch as I didn't want to own up that something was coming up I couldn't deny it either. I graduated and few months later during my service he proposed. The way he did the proposal thing so irritated me I just told him to go and learn how to make a proposal. We didn't speak for the next 9months or so. Not a word, flash, text, mail. Nothing. We went our separate ways believing we were not meant to be together. He's very shy/reserved while I'm very outspoken and can do some unnecessary shakara. Somehow during that break I gave other suitors space but it just didn't work. My lord and I got back together and I've been having the time of my life with a man that is so UNLIKE me. Please, how many types of lord do you have... You should have just called him hubby or love so we know the difference between our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and sarah's kind of lord. Just incase of next time. |

CoCoLav: I think so too.
I am an introvert but the things I do...
People will be surprised.
OP maybe you are just boring..try to be more interesting and spontaneous around him.
4 years?! mehn...by this time you should be doing make up on his face and taking pictures painting his toe nails shaving his eyebrows while he is asleep Just have fun. Plan outings to places he will like...you know him best. You know what he likes doing watch sports with him if he is a sports fan. for good measure you could just support the opposite team so you can argue and have some laughs buy the latest video game and the both of you play it together Spontaneously dance for him....you can even dance on his body Go to a gaming center...play snooker, go paintballing... You could also give him some drama, tease him, make him laugh just basically have fun! On Fridays after work you both can just go the park, sit, buy pizza and talk. And then you could write him little letters and drop off at places he is sure to see them...like his pockets or wallet. I prefer this to the normal boring text messages and pinging. Thank you. I just learnt some things from you now. |

Oh my God! Kai, why didn't you invite me to give her a slap on your behalf. Why do some ladies behave like they were not born into a home. Who even gave her access to your kitchen? What was she looking for in that area. Apologize to her for what? You were supposed to demand an apology from them sef for inconveniencing and insulting you as well
Hmmmmn. Women dey see things in the name of marriage oh. |
