Whenever someone wrong me I don't make a fuss, I don't yell, I don't fight, I don't try to get even, I just smile and I won't say anything either, but for some reason they believe I don't move on, that those who act like that carry grudge and are more sinister when it comes to revenge, one time I joked about quiet people and how easy going they are, and my brother was like, slow poisons are the most wicked people to ever walk the earth, (I'm the slow poison in this instance) then he referenced one time I had a scuffle with one man and I cried, he claims crying wasn't because I fought with someone, it's because people didn't let me do what's on my mind and that's a sign of extreme wickedness, when the man was throwing punches I didn't retaliate immediately, instead I took a step back, and when I wanted to get even alot of onlookers held me and stopped me from getting even so I started crying, he claims people who act like that are more dangerous than people who yell and break stuff when things happen but in my opinion I'm so chill, far from wickedness he's talking about, my girlfriend is now saying the same thing, she said she prefers if I make a scene when she wrong me, that way she'd know I have blown off steam and moved on, that the way I just smile and say nothing makes me seem untrustworthy and she's feeling uncomfortable with that, I should at least throw a tantrum, isn't that toxicity? Are they right about me.

After trying medicine 3 times. I had to settle for a science course. I'm currently done with my first degree, NYSC and doing a little job by the side.

The thing is, i want to go back to medical school. I have a burning desire to study medicine, i dream about it everyday and would be rather unfulfilled if i don't study medicine.

The questions i have are:

1. I intend to start my study in my late 20s. Hopefully 28,29,or at 30years old.

2. What are the disadvantages of studying medicine and graduating in my late 30s.?


3. How is employment at that age?

Wanted to study medicine in unilag, got zoology. Came out with first class. Uni wanted to retain him as junior lecturer but he said he wanted to pursue medicine. They gave him the opportunity to study medicine and now he is through today.

According to him I don't support his dreams, I don't encourage him, that my love for him was conditional, over time he keeps telling me that all the ladies that have come into his life has this tendency of supporting him and all of that, and I happen not to fall in that category, so because of that he keeps comparing and making reference's all the time it's always brings issues between us every now and then.

Some months ago he was facing serious financial problems, and all I was able to do the little I could even though it was chicken change but again he met a lady who did more than I did and the comparison started again, it again brought fights and arguments, off recent he has met a lady who according to him supported him greatly which he told him he has been able to bounce back and things are getting better, after some days he told me thesame lady confessed that she was in-love with me it was after that confession he then told me that he has seen and known how a woman can love unconditionally, that the lady never asked him of anything , that she supported his dreams and is encouraging something I couldn't do. Before then he told me about some things I was doing which he didn't like, I tried to adjust to suit in the woman he wanted me to be character wise that was when he told me I was acting up and pretending to love him because of what I stand to gain from him.

I just got fed up of the whole thing and told him that if the lady is the kind of woman he wants in his life he should be with her, he has always talked about a supportive woman and since I couldn't or didn't fall in that category I decided to let him go in other for me to have peace of mind. So I blocked him everywhere just so it will be easy for me to forget about him and everything, I don't know if I did the right thing?.

I work with a private organisation where I earn 20k as my monthly stipend
For the past one four month now we have not been paid salary and we dare not ask my boss because she is a disciplined woman who doesn't tolerate nonsense..

Things are really getting hard and I couldn't even afford transport fee to work this morning as I have to trek down to work this morning, and on getting to work I decided to summon courage to ask this woman about my salary, She told me to go back to my duty .
but to my greatest surprise it was sack letter that follows.
I tried talking to her and telling her the situation of things but she wouldn't listen and all what she said is that I have been fired.


I was told to come back ending of November to get my salary..

I don't really know what to do right now, it looks like cheating to me .
This is my sweat, something I have work for ...

my dream was that immediately I came over, i and my dependant will search for jobs.. work and pay bill. but that is not feasible as I am seeing it.

i have been in UK since 1 month plus. but getting a job as a migrant or new commer without UK experience is not easy.
in fact i have sent over 200 job application for cleaner, care assistant etc but all came with a sorry we have moved on to the next stage or you don't have uk experience.

school fees has to be paid. school has sent mail threatening to report to the immigration if school fees is not paid in the next few weeks.

no job, house rent is expensive.. going for 450 to 600 pounds per month.

travelling through student route is not really easy because you have to balance between work and school.. 'even at that where is the job as a new migrant.

Please if you are considering coming to UK for now.. please put on hold. the crowd from Indians, Pakistani, Malaysia, china etc is overwhelming.

it's not worth selling your home to be here.

i sleep in indeed and all this job site.. still yet nothing, bills mounting up.

all my colleague i came with are still with no jobs in other cities

if u know you don't have full school fees, house rent for 12 months, upkeep.... running to 35m to 40m please stay back... stay back or apply through skill route.
