EbonyMerma:
p.s. I will be checking your blog, so keep it spicy.
Well I guess she's raping you now!

@Ebony. See ya around. Just when I was 'getting' you.

So what'd y'all say we took this revolution up a notch?

I wasn't aware making sense was a requirement! I'm just appalled that some Vesucci bloke is hitting on Sisi or I'm supposed to be this Vesucci. Either way I'm appalled.

What's cracking, bluespice? Anything on your mind? Tell it to the doc!
TV/Movies › Re: Nollywood: Don't We Need A Revolution? by vescucci(m): 1:07pm On Oct 27, 2008
EbonyMerma, you are either extremely optimistic or you're just so bored of Hollywood that anything else seems like the ish. Anyways we need folks like you to change stuff. So anytime you are free come down and invest in the fledgling industry. We'll be happy to indulge you grin

Y'all ain't evil, just sinister.

And, uh, Vescucci has always been my alias but recently it's been garroted, torched, lynched etc. Oh, it's bringing me so much heartache and I often wonder why it bothers me so. That anyway is my own peculiarity grin Exercise in Exorcism

Just speaking my mind

Methinks Ebonymerma is a lost cause undecided

People do not blame Hollywood for their not-so-good movies because the good ones more than make up for them. Nollywood on the other hand cannot get anything right and the reverse seems to be the case.

It took me a lil while to put my thoughts in writing today, funny.

@Ex, rest easy. Immature last time I checked also refers to someone not acting his level of intellect. Also, neotenous also has a clear meaning. About wanting to be like you, I can only say I hope taking Gamine's words as gospel has been working thus far. No offense, Gamine grin

My sense of humour is fine. Actually what struck me and prompted me to call for a truce was that I suspected a lil bit of ill-will might be seeping in. And I really do not care for a 'real' feud with you, man. I guess I was wrong and Under-rated ur sense of Humour. I guess love conquers all. All the love was killing you, wasn't it Ex? Haba, mallam, how can you say it's boring talking about movies? I started this thread immediately after joining nl and it sorta blossoed into a whole lot more. I admit the brook finally ran out of water and I admit that you are the main reason behind my coming back here but that's just because there've been nothing good going on recently. Me and Spikyn also have tons to talk about as per oldies. A very tight fan-base but we do our best. Why am I justifying myself? Anyways, since we understand ourselves, may be continue? After all, you have a lousy way of saying no hard feelings. And I'm not as faceless as you think, sir.

@Spikyn, I hope you mean 'No One Knows' is the only song you'd give up space for in you ipod and not that you diss the rest. I get most of my movies in about the same way as you minus the compilation stuff. I haven't left this country before so I can only ask for them to be sent and so far people have been untrustworthy to say the least. VHS, I couldn't play them even if I do lay my hands on them. PM me so I know if we can do a one-way echange grin

@Gamine+Ex: It's A Wonderful Life,

You just couldn't help yourself, could you, Capra enthusiast!

Still wetting ur bed over Some Egomaniac Under Nairaland?

I nearly had a heart attack after reading EbonyMerma's take. After she 'enlightened' us on her position I guess it makes sense to love to see African movies with African mistakes, eh?

@everybody else. Is there anything we can do (asides complain) to help. I wanna be proactive but our situation has left nothing akin to a starting point.

Baby Jinx:
Honestly, jokes aside. . . most women I know don't have a problem doing these things, what they do have a problem with is men DEMANDING it. My Aunt says "I will polish my husband shoes with my tongue because I want to, I will do this because I love him and not because he demands it. Should he demand it, then he can kiss it buh bye" and even though I know she would never really lick anyone's shoes (because that's the day she gets killed off by moi), I understand her point.

Men just don't get it. . . don't demand she worships and submits to you, trust she will because she is your wife and she loves you. Only idiot, insecure men go around demanding things, they fear they are unworthy of anybody's love, so they use the "Bible Injuction" this and Doctine that to intimidate someone into submission.

yes, how sad for men. . . well maybe not all because there are a few out there (my brothers tongue) and in here (Biolabee & Doyin to name of few) who get it. There's hope yet!
You're going to get people at wits end with this one. Peeps'd be tearing their hair out for so much confusion. Have mercy Sisi.

@Michelin89. Yeah, I know. Figures. Anytime I google the name to see how popular I've become grin it turns out tons of Vespucci and absolutely no Vescucci. Except for nairaland, and that's because of google ads that nairaland displays.

@Baby. This is much better ain't it. A bit endearing, but I dare say, I like it. Lemme not catch anybody else using this sobriquet. I don forget wetin I wan say sef. Talkative Vesc, must I post?

@Karma, I was actually refering to the grammer error, but all join. Sisikill is meant for few. Thank God for the facelessness that nairaland provides, some people would have severed other people's jugular.

They'll be falling over themselves trying to separate sarcasm from plain opinion. You know you're not meant for everybody, don't you?

Michelin89, it's just as hard to type Vescucci as it is to type Vespucci. Vescucci, if you please. Vesc is OK. Plain V also works. I hate it when my persona is murdered.

Reminds me of the 'Yuruba' people
TV/Movies › Re: Naruto Shippuden Versus New Bleach: Which Is The Better Anime? by vescucci(m): 5:31pm On Oct 23, 2008
Naruto is a better anime than boring Bleach. But I personally favour Rurouni Kenshin and Dragonaut the most. I even like Murder Princess more than Bleach. I like the continuity thing with bleach though.

Sisikill, maybe you ought to turn this down a notch, you are actually gathering followers and antagonists, who the humour escapes.

Well that may be because all the girls run off and start working at banks or something of the sort. We dudes have to roam about for awhiles. In the hot sun I forgot to mention. I guess I wouldn't be saying this if I had served in a remote, powerless, waterless, amenityless region in Borno, but essentially I hate having to kiss my dad's ass for paper.

Chai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

See the power of the comma? Linda Lavid teach me but I no hear!

I've never worked in my life

'When you're not working, like me' is what I meant.

Don't be like that Gamine, kai, I don't have to be the mental picture that Ex has printed in your brain. I just wanted to talk about it. I just finished service Feb, this year and I miss it already. OK?

Boast about what? You use a macbook don't you? So what's special about a 2GB RAM? Besides, it cost 20k less than what I paid for my 512MB RAM laptop.

Except boasting means something else, I see no boasting here. You're serving too right. At least concede that.

I come here when I feel like peace and quiet.
