For some reason, your posts are kinda showing up gradually. Kay, I like your style. You're about as subtle as a canon. You remind me of one amateur guitarist (and this guy only gets worse) who plays by my window when I'm trying to have my one hour of contemplations before I sleep. Needless to say, I wish I could rig his instrument such that the next time he mistakenly hits the right note, he'll be blown to smithereens with a smile on his face.
Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 12:28pm On Mar 15, 2010
I couldn't put it together at first but now it makes perfect sense. Be a proper feminist and remain proud jo. You remind me of black people. If I call you a spineless, arrogant biatch, off will go my head. Me, I've loving your dad. For what it's worth, my head is letting condominiums.

And don't trust Sisi. She's a secret agent from the future laying the framework for the emergence of the machines.
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 11:34am On Mar 15, 2010
Your Alice in Wonderland has been out since and you've not said a word o. iice, you don divorce Tim Burton?

Lol. Football ain't going nowhere, love. We're atomically intertwined. Throw men on a deserted island and they'll start a league playing coconuts about.

Lol. Doyin. You'll be careful to curb your enthusiasm lest your beloved An Education suffers the same fate of hype induced hate. This is the latest fashion now, to hate hype. It's bigger than LV or Prada bags
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 11:19pm On Mar 13, 2010
Lol. Nice one about Mark. You're gonna make his momma cry you wicked thing you

I'm being taken back to my thumb sucking days with Where The Wild Things Are. I'm not recommending it for anyone, mind.

Spikyn, you're up there! That is all.
Literature › Re: What Was The Last Book You Read? by vescucci(m): 10:43pm On Mar 13, 2010
Who wrote that, Sisi?

You read like a bad sales pitch, Polando

I'm reading a collection of short stories by Alfred Hitchcock. He didn't write anything but the preface though. The last book I read is Skinny Dip by Carl Hiaasen
Literature › Re: Murder On Koboland.com by vescucci(m): 10:24pm On Mar 13, 2010
I feel like I'm the only word of caution here. Doyin, I actually like this thing and I don't want it to flop. Don't let praise and requests from some dyslexic people sway you. Stick to your way of writing and make your letters however you see fit. People who can't finish it at a go can come back to it for Peter Pan's sake. No serious literature is written with a plethora of editors. Nimwits at that. Jeez, what did she put in my drink?

If I told you, I'd have to kill you. And I like you too much. Who'd I look forward to see rant?

Because it's an action film abi? Days like this I miss your brother-from-another-mother Spikyn so much.

TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 11:55am On Mar 13, 2010
Cara, I hated Planet of the Apes. I love Tim along with most of the cast but the whole idea left me with a permanent smirk. And that awful ending. Whose idea of a sucker punch was that? Maybe it was one Romanian who heard that people call Abraham Lincoln, Abe. It's Abe you slowpoke, not Ape.

Sisi. I no get energy to like you less. But if you persist with the schtick, I'll go for intensive training and it WILL happen.

Doyin, I've always appreciated your appreciation for subtlety. I'll be taking up on your recommendation. Dude, you've never been on topic to begin with for you to go off it
TV/Movies › Re: Petition To Scrap The Nigerian Movie Industry by vescucci(m): 11:26am On Mar 13, 2010
My freaking sentiments exactly. This thread takes me back. Now I'm just a messed up thing. I still can't believe that more people voted to keep Nollywood. What's that saying again? About common sense being not so common?

Are people that daft or I need to get off my high horse?
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 3:46pm On Mar 12, 2010
And the Joker takes the plaudits. Even Keyser Soze (abi how una dey spell am) is more sinister than Anton. Anton is mechanical about killing. That's not a psycho, that's a wire disconnected. The Joker kills for pleasure, that's a psycho and plenty wires flying all over in a short-circuiting frenzy
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 3:44pm On Mar 12, 2010
I didn't like Planet of the Apes, even with Mrs. Burton. I guess you were refering to Steven Spielberg's involvement in the second one. I think he's done enough of world scale films hare but we'll see. Let Tin Tin come out first
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 3:41pm On Mar 12, 2010
What possible sequel could come off No Country for Old men?

JK, do your thing and let's move on
Islam › Re: I Really Love You! by vescucci(m): 2:48pm On Mar 12, 2010
I think this is the first thread here where I can really revel in without looking over my shoulder. By the time I come back, I guess people might be spitting at each other. Jamila, I love you too.
Literature › Re: Murder On Koboland.com by vescucci(m): 2:45pm On Mar 12, 2010
I forgot to ask where the other letters are. I'm interested in your story and I think despite its being a leisure thing, it might go places. It is quite easy to spring stories from it that it'd be a crime to give it up, Mr. Doyin
Literature › Re: Murder On Koboland.com by vescucci(m): 2:38pm On Mar 12, 2010
It means, when you're funny once, I laugh. When you're replaying the same scenario somewhere else, I don't laugh. I get pissed off. But this is just me and the occasions are far in between so it has no bearing on how good you write. Don't take me seriously though. I just felt I had to criticise soemthing, else, I'd come off as though I were kissing your ass. I don't like kissing ass. Male ass anyway, I'll leave that to Blue and Sisi tongue

TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 2:27pm On Mar 12, 2010
Sauron, thank you jare. I'd have sworn we did No Country for Old Men. Anyways, I'm up for it. Didn't I say something about waiting for some time to elapse before doing some movies? Obinna, where do you get your fixes? I'm sure you would have seen Alice in Wonderland three weeks ago
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 2:23pm On Mar 12, 2010
Yeah, I think you're more than crazy, cara. But on the bright side, the world is bound to have an cataclysmic destruction kinda event, so it's good to know that even if all copies of LOTR get destroyed, we have a human who has it in her grey matter drive.

Something tells me too many cooks will spoil the broth with this Justice League movie.
