Wait! Kunmi could give you a shitload of money, you give him your hard drive, I give you my heart and you give me the shitload of money. Yup. Everybody happy. Plus I can go buy the hearts of Steve Buscemi and Stewie of Family Guy with a shitload of change to spare. Sweet.

I promised not to be a blabbermouth till Sunday night passes. Hitler in agbada floating in stardust! I just realised I won't be home to watch it. Oh man, I must have sold my luck to have this doggone Vescucci heart in my last life.

Hehe. Martin has not flopped in a very very long time (if ever) I just realised. Even Spielberg has made some stupid movies. Hmmn. I think I'll abandon the search for Hurt Locker for Shutter Island.

Bram Stoker's na. Obinna is right. If nobody has seen that we can review Lucky Number Slevin.

Btw JK, you need to go get your parents for 'shielding' you away from another of Coppola's awesomeness

Aha. You've come around. Even though I don't want Avatar to win it'll probably win. You gotta admit, the contenders this year have little to choose between them.

Spike, if I give you my heart, will you give me your hard drive?

I hope your shoe goes well with mustard or peanut butter.

Freaking freak of a freaking freak show! If I hear someone say Avatar is wack one more time. One more time. I swear. I'll do nothing. There's so much prejudice and unfound conspiracy theories flying around that I almost lost my characteristic (and very annoying) cool. I'll just wait till the Oscars have passed before I comment again.

Baby? Me? Wha? Huh? Did the joke fly over my head? Huh? Wha?

Islam › Re: Prophet Mohammed's Married Life Explained: U Can Ask Your Questions Politely by vescucci(m): 4:17pm On Mar 02, 2010
I rarely post anything in Religion section but this one seems orderly enough. I just wanna say to those who are always a slave of what trend says that trends move but God doesn't move with it. Probably it will be a crime to marry a woman less than 25 by 2304 and anyone who does that will be hanged by his scrotum. Does that mean they're right? Who made 18 the legal age for marriage and where did they get their sanction from. I'm by no means advocating marrying off kids or any such thing but all I'm saying is a measure of objectivity needs to be observed. Whilst I mean no disrespect and only wish to show how cultures get easily outdated, I'd implore any honest Christian to do some research and find out how old Mary was when she married Joseph. Don't burst a vein, it's just a question.

P.S. Whilst polygamy is accepted in Islam, it is not a must and is not seen to be a better option. As with all concessions, humans are wont to abuse.

Let me shed some light on the Prophet's marriages. Most of them are not only borne out of compassion but as examples. The people then would rarely do anything that they did not see the Prophet doing. He married a Jew and a Christian to demonstrate its permissibility. Same goes for the Zaynab that King David is so keen about. He married older women and widows. He married his best friend's daughter too. Almost all his marriages had peculiarities. As for whether he had sex with them, well, it is legal and you can assume so for it is the right of his wives over him. Any sane person will be satisfied. If you're not, well, go fall off a cliff
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Stoke City Vs Arsenal [1 - 3] On Saturday, 27th Feb by vescucci(m): 3:45pm On Mar 02, 2010
I've never been more proud to be an Arsenal fan. I was moved almost to tears when Ramsey broke his leg (or when his leg was broken). Now Denilson will return as Song is banned for two matches. Oh boy
Literature › Re: Most Uninteresting Book You Have Read. by vescucci(m): 3:44pm On Mar 02, 2010
I read an apparition by Daniel Steele once. Let's just say that was the end of my fling with her. And an apparition is not the title of the book. That's how forgettable the book was.

Una BAFTA seemed to like Hurt Locker though.

Ah. I smell sour grapes. When Cameron makes a film that looses money, I'll eat my shorts. Free the man abeg. If he had a penny for every hater, he'd have broken Titanic's record before his movie dropped from #1 at the box office. Numbers don't lie. Even brutal rotten tomatoes rated Avatar 82%. Sure he's hyped but he doesn't pay goofballs to do that.

Jeez, I suggested Willow na. The one with the defunct Val Kilmer. You know, the George Lucas film, I think. Abi is the film not as popular as I think?
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 10:28am On Mar 02, 2010
Or Burn After Watching. I thought it wasn't bad. Quite funny I might add. It's undoing was in its star studded cast. You don't need nearly as much talent to make such a film. I thought we'd already done Coming To America. Ah, everybody musta seen it and nobody will rate it less than 90%. Can't we just give it a de facto 90%
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 9:22am On Mar 02, 2010
Then I decamp from Inglorious Basterds. I want Hurt Locker to win even though I've not seen it. I'll watch the movie before the week runs out lest I find myself in quicksand. I just hope people will not start tainting her success with 'James taught her all she knows' etc
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 9:10am On Mar 02, 2010
Great. I was thinking I'd get beat with the three months thingie. I wanna review Willow for the oldie and Burn After Reading

Lol. She wasn't even reading my post well enough. Giddy with excitement. Cameron's ex wife huh? I know next to nothing about that guy off screen.

Since everyone is giving advice,

Amsly. People aren't worth it. People respond to shitty behaviour. Most people anyway. Being nice will only get you taken for granted. Most times. Idealism comes before psychopathy. Notice in movies how the worst (best) villains are former do gooders who get a brutal wake up call? Don't be a total prick but don't be Kyle XY either. This is what Obi Wan told me last week
Literature › Re: My Book Of Rants! by vescucci(m): 8:41am On Mar 02, 2010
Merde! Aww break a leg. Or your neck.

Frigging hell on a rotten taco. I don't wanna hear of anyone's puny problems. Y'all can take a deep sea dive with a tank full of atomized sodium pentothal for all I care. It's time for breakfast, wtf isn't my favorite joint open yet? Frigging hell on a frigging goddamn godforsaken bleeding rotten taco.

Metamorphosis phase II. This won't be pretty.
TV/Movies › Re: The Movie Club by vescucci(m): 8:11am On Mar 02, 2010
I'm gonna go berserk on movies this week. So I should be locked and loaded for anything. By the way, I prefer we review films that have been around for at least three months. That way the dust woulda settled and all the hype and anti-hype would have yielded to true opinion. What say you, people?
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood directors: Rate or hate? What's your Take? by vescucci(op): 8:00am On Mar 02, 2010
I'm not giddy with joy that they're gonna work together. Jolie was smart going the Winslet way by doing Changling. She'd be taken more seriously but frankly, I don't think that's her forte. But if Depp is caught up doing this, what about On Stranger Tides? And what's up with those Tin Tin movies? Someone is losing patience here o!
TV/Movies › Re: Hollywood: Favourite Movies, Actors and Awards. Tinseltown reviews & Gossip by vescucci(m): 7:48am On Mar 02, 2010
I've not seen Hurt Locker yet. It seems to be directed by a woman if I'm not mistaken. Girls have names like Joey nowadays and this is the 21st century. Kathryn might be a fully bearded hippie running amok with an LSD filled hookah. I hope it's a woman though. I'm rooting for Inglorious Basterds. But they foolishly released the film at the wrong time. I'm sure Avatar will win. I won't lose sleep over it.

JeSoul, I've missed you too. Don't mind Max. I'm not even close to either boundaries of craze or genius, though I wish I was. Whatchu been up to? Apart from sticking through 100minutes of serie A.

Hmmm. Max is having an o.r.g.a.s.m over Battlestar Galactica. I remember a show of a slightly similar name but I forget. Maybe Galactica. I didn't think much of it. I'm a die hard fan of the Star Trek series except Star Trek: Enterprise. I like Earth: Final Conflict too. In short I love Gene Roddenberry and all his competitors make me protective. Ex-Inferis recommended it a long time ago but I was only able to lay my hands on season 2 so I postponed it. I'll reactivate my search and I'd better be convulsing and spasming from pure euphoria.

Cara, you've been really busy. Hmmm. That Madonna bit is hilarious. It's a done deal. She'll botch the movie. Any movie. Gotta run.

Sin City 2 might not necessarily be a good thing. Almost all the good characters are dead. I don't think it'll do anything but taint the first one. Only hope is if Frank Miller's graphic novel still has stories yet untold.

TV/Movies › Re: The Oscars, 2010 : Nominees Announced by vescucci(m): 10:26am On Feb 04, 2010
Lol. Easy JK. I didn't nominate Avatar for best picture. I nominated District 9. But I said Avatar will probably win. Dude, I hope JeSoul is correct for your own good, cuz you just might eat that shoe knowing the people from the academy.
