Jos is a lovely town. i have lived in jos since 2008 (Rayfield to be precise). i work in abuja now (since 2015). i recently relocated my family to Abuja. so i know abuja and jos. . . . Jos is a better town for a low/middle income earner to live when compared to abuja. The kind of schools that you would ordinarily spend less than 100k per term in jos, in abuja you could pay over 300k per term. life in jos is cool and affordable. cost of living in jos is very affordable when compared to abuja. for me, if i must live in abuja, it has to be Maitama, Asokoro, Central Area, Wuse 2 and environs. living in Rayfield Jos can almost be compared to living in these areas; Trust me on this!!

Bro if you need assistance to really settle and live a good moderate life in jos, hala me. Good Luck!!!

Hello. Can I contact you?

I have done my findings I just but ofcourse no one has the monopoly of knowledge..kindly share your thoughts.

lived all my.life in lagos till.2014.Abuja since then...but thinking about Jos.
I'm 36, IT professional n married with 2 kids...wife not really working. i currently work in an ingo that also gas field offices includin Jos...but my salary isnt that interesting to make me that comfortable in abuja considering the bills on my neck.
we stay in a 1BR apartment in one of the villages (chika precisely) in abuja and pays abt 370 yearly.

ive visited Jos more than 5 times and i keep loving it more in each visit...Rayfield and surroundings to be precise...calm, weather friendly, fresh n affordable food, my salary wud get me a comfortable 2BR flat... navigation to/from abuja is jst 4hrs..so i feel i can apply for a relocation to our field office in jos..or at worst work from abuja and travel weekends.

i dont intend living anywhere outside Jos south/Rayfield environs

as a family man...i find it most suitable to relocate there..most esp for the sanity n good environment for my children's growth -stressfree of going to school in abuja, the hot sun, bad electricity, havin to wake up to fan my.kids at night (ofcos i have Generator)..i stay in a noisy compound that dosnt befit me..many fake foods n fruits in abuja, ..i wonder if its the same Nigeria...but Jos looks like a greener pasture for me.
waduyu think??

Hello sir.
Just wondering... Did you eventually move to Jos?

I feel it is a right decision to move to Jos with your family. I stayed in Jos for 9 years before I moved to Abuja with my family because of work. I lived in Rayfield for 4 years and I assure you will get a standard two bedroom in some areas in Rayfield with good light and security for 350 to 400k. Your kids will also have access to good schools at affordable costs. An average Rayfield resident in Jos will struggle here in Abuja, life is tough here I must confess but man must not relent. If you need contacts of house agents and any other info, feel free to reach out. Besides, even if your transfer request is not granted, coming to jos for weekends is not a bad idea. But kindly consider the security risks of travelling frequently through Abuja to Jos. God will help you.

Hello sir. Can I take you up on the contact info of agents?
I plan on relocating soon.

I don't really know if u still need this advice but u see Jos is the best place I will recommend for u to live , I am currently in Jos and things are cool here , the cost of living is very damn cheap

The part where people are saying that there is no peace of mind is somehow not true

Since the 2008 crisis Jos divided into two Christian area and Moslem area
U can't be a Moslem and be living in a Christian populated area , same thing goes to Christian as well

The only place u can't mingle with someone of another religion is in the market or public gathering

Power supply here is 80%

It appears your Twitter account has been suspended. I tried reaching out.

The only place to get Jos bus from Ibadan (AFAIK) is at Ojoo Motor Park. I doubt if they leave very early because you don't get lots of passengers from there. I took a friend there last week and they departed around 12pm. The Hiace bus is N10,050, while the mini bus is about N11,000 or so

Hello there. Will the journey be an overnight trip?

I was reached out to on LinkedIn. I have done multiple interviews with European and US companies but no success.

To God be the Glory, one clicked and pay is in Euro. Its been good so far.

My only Nigerian interview was supposed to be First bank but I turned it down. I avoided Nigerian companies because their pressure is something else and they pay nonsense.

Is it remote work or you relocated?

You won't even believe it.

My current job, I was contacted from a job board. I did a telephone interview and by what should be a second interview with my would be manager (now my manager), it was 'when are you resuming? Do you have any questions for me?' to God be all the glory.

I am resuming a new job mid June, by God's grace, with one of the top 10 banks in the world. I applied for a role with them but got contacted on LinkedIn by them for another (higher) role.

Again, to God be all the glory.

Could you share the job board?

My advice for Young folks is learn digital skills and start free lancing, the sky is your limit.

I dropped out, learning Web designing and she is making at least a million per month on upwork. The money in her account is at least 10 times my own.

Digital skills is the way.

#50k, #100k work per month, won't make you comfortable, it will just make you not beg to eat.
Skills + Hardwork + Consistency + Prayer

Very solid advice.

I think cost of living in Jos is quite similar with IB. You can get your target rental within suburb of Rayfield like Mai Adiko, Duratopp etc

Thanks for your input sir. Much appreciated.
Travel / Advice Needed: Relocating To Jos. by Vibesking(m): 12:29pm On May 15, 2023
I just rounded up NYSC and I'm keen on moving to Jos before the end of the year to kick off life there. Purpose for this decision is the cost of living (which I've heard is quite reasonable compared to Lagos and IB).

Considering affordability and safety, which area(s) in Jos South would you recommend?

My preference is a room and parlour apartment. Budget is 150-250k. Do you think I can find something for this budget in Rayfield? If not, where else would you advice?

If you're a housing agent or know someone who is, kindly specify in the comment.

Also, if you currently reside in Jos, I'd be glad to connect too.

Has anyone benefitted from this program?

The boy & the Experience

.

The sun was setting on the horizon, slowly fading away into the night sky. The air was filled with a sense of anticipation and excitement as he made his way up to the house. He had been told that this would be his first time, and he could feel his heart beating faster as he got ever closer to the door.

He paused for a moment before knocking on the door, taking in a deep breath and letting it out slowly. His hands were trembling from nervousness but he finally mustered up enough courage to knock three times. When no one answered, he decided to peek through the window before entering inside.

As soon as he stepped foot inside, there was an overwhelming sense of anticipation in the air. He wondered what this night would bring him – would it be something good or something bad? He brushed aside these thoughts and continued walking further into the living room where two figures were waiting for him. It was only then that he noticed them – two people sitting side by side on a couch wearing nothing more than their underwear.

This sight sent shockwaves throughout his body as realization set in: tonight will be when I lose my virginity! Fear and excitement coursed through his veins simultaneously as a wave of emotions washed over him like an ocean tide.

He hesitantly took off all of his clothes until there was nothing left covering his body but embarrassment and nerves. The other two smiled at him warmly and told him not to worry; they said that everything would be alright if only he allowed himself to relax into their touch. They asked if he wanted to start right away or if needed some time before beginning – in response, all he could do was nod in agreement.

What happened next is still hazy in his mind; all that remains are fragmented memories of pleasure and pain mixed together until they formed one single experience that changed his life forever…

And so it began– a beautiful journey of self-discovery full of surprises and feelings never before experienced by anyone around him– especially not himself– until now!

As dawn broke on the horizon, he knew with certainty that this night had marked a new beginning for him.

~End.

Wow! This is beautifully written. I love the build of suspense. I'm certainly following.

Hello guys my Redmi 10 2022 fell down on the interlock that broke the screen, I took it to the where I purchased it for a suggestion of what to do with the hope of anything close to warranty, I was told that it will be taken to Kano and the repair cost ₦38500. I bought the phone on the 1st of August this year in Gombe, now what I can do? I have to manifest 40k now to fix it. Only God knows how I can come with that now.
Any suggestion or idea would be greatly appreciated because I don't really know what to do

Take it to Slot. I replaced my RN7 screen for 18k.
