lordkay10: I heard there's an increment in fixed charge by shoptomydoor, what's the new fixed charge and the new shipping rate per pound? Cc: shoptomydoor Sincerely , The charge is way out of the box, i must say that is crazy , Imagine having Shoptomydoor shipping charge to be 100dollars and Customs clearing to be 80dollars, Mehn!!!! The whole thing being shipped is even less than 100dollars, with this improvements, there is gonna be a great "slow down" in business, Sincerely, it cant work that way, anyway,i already have them delivered ,having to ignore them in my warehouse will generate more funds, so got no choice to ship out, but not after creating a hole in my pocket. |

zenithforce: Oh I see. So in ur opinion there's nothing special abt me getting a visa? Interesting..!! I tot there was. I felt we sharing our experiences here is a way we can learn from one another and the various situations that can be met at the office. But it seems to you a headline worthy transcript has to be complicated or something. My opinion of your comment is someone who's arrogant. That's my opinion of you. I may be wrong. Because you don't knw what my concerns were before the interview or the sacrifices I had to make. Guesss!!

This is how my stuff was well assembled in the Shoptomydoor package, I have shipped with them since 2014 and have spend more than 1million Naira on shipping alone, I dont think you can trust any other. More packages coming in.

zenithforce: Good morning folks, my transcript as promised
VO: Good morning Me: Good morning VO: Pls pass your documents and passport, (the guy is full bearded with an Indian accent, good looking too but hin don marry sha ) Me: I passed the docs VO: Yes... So tell me why you chose the university of Texas for your public health degree Me: It's one of the cheapest among other schools bla bla ...., and being located in the Texas medical center which is the largest medical complex in the world I'll have various opportunities for research.... VO: So what prior experience (or I think he said knowledge) do you have in public health Me: My first degree was medicine and surgery, so I did some basic courses in public health in my final year (the guy they knod..) and I conducted a research during my final year about the knowledge of the bla bla bla... where I saw that their knowledge about the disease was very low and I gave recommendations to the dept. (While I was waiting on the queue for my interview I suddenly had an impression to remind myself of my final year project topic, which I did) VO: I heard u say Surgery Me: Yes I read medicine and surgery VO: Tell me more abt it Me: I'm a medical doctor, so I treat patients...bla bla bla(I sha tell am wetin medical doctor dey do) VO: Ok your visa have been approved, ...( didn't hear the rest of what he said) Me: wow....thank you
No other documents asked, no SOA, no question abt my sponsor etc. (While I was answering his first question, unconsciously I wasn't looking at him. but I quickly rem what people said on this thread abt being confident and looking at the VO's face while talking. I turned to him sharp sharp, eyeball to eyeball . I think doing so helps your confidence level well.)
I give glory to God for favour and His faithfulness... He is awesome. Thanks to everyone that has responded to questions and given quality info on this thread. God bless you all.
And pls.... avoid those touts at the consular car park trying to get you to staple your passport photograph on your ds-160. You don't need to staple anything not even the docs together..!! On a Scale of applying for a Visa 10 times, You will get the visa 9 times, This shouldnt be a testimony, we need men and women who used nothing to get something, Thats motivation, it is mediocre to say "a bird can fly" a bird should fly, Christ!!! |

@Texrem, Sincerely I feel ur pain, but reasons for Rejection, I already told you, take a step towards it and you will smile home, As a student wishing to study abroad it is a prospect on its own, A VO wants to see the reflection of that prospect.
Your application is reviewed already before you get there, which means ur interview is only 50% of ur chance of getting a visa, ur composure, your sincerity to an extent (may mean ur capabilities in all u already filled in ur applications) and the rest is to the VO's Judgment, and you get ur Visa. Sincerely No VO wants to reject u a Visa, It is all on ur confidence. |

LagosNIV: This is just wrong. If your mother is your sponsor, then that is who your sponsor is. You don't get rejected because we are "frustrated that we can't ask personal questions." We can - and do - ask personal questions if they are relevant to issuing the visa. If you say so, Much Obliged, frustrated here dosnt mean insult or there about, But "inability" to get through the person, but am sure you have clarified it, and i know it will go a long way to help Tex in understanding more about his step to take. |

If you have a handsome face, start using it, if you have a good swag, start to use it as well, and so on. And when you have to meet the same person who rejected you? , No one seems to get the point am raising, go tru my replies or quote with Tex! |

slimmy05: this is not true. His mum being his sponsor is not out of place. There are several factors that you wouldn't see by mere reading his transcript. I am telling you of this multiple rejections, If you insist on more trials, Then i will be here to see the results, I just took you into the mind of that VO, simple. |

texrem: Wait a minute! are u saying my mum isn't a good sponsor? Your VO is a woman right? Dont go to her with a "MUM" sponsor stories , She rejected you because she couldn't get into ur personal life, there are questions she would have loved to ask you, but they are private to you, she feels frustrated. |
Travel › Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part 7 by vibrant99(m): 7:29pm On Aug 11, 2015 |
texrem: its in my transcript
who will be sponsoring you? my mum what does she do? shes a contractor, she supplies building materials and electrical equipments and she also owns a supermarket. Technically, the VO didnt see that as a reliable backbone to carry through an American system of Education (Trust me it is there in context) The relationship and capability of your sponsor is everything, They always want to see what the person have in Account and who the person is, so take some while off the consulate and find another sponsor, i will be here to take the blame if they reject you once more! |

ikuyinminu: Guys, I got a new application for tomorrow. I was earlier delayed 28th July and i dropped my transcript.. The school resumes on 17th. I am able to get a new date for 11th. The issue is.. I am filling a new ds160. i was asked
"Have you ever been refused a U.S. Visa, or been refused admission to the United States, or withdrawn your application for admission at the port of entry?"
Explain?
Please what should i write
IT IS VERY URGENT (please you understand the capital letter) God bless I Think the one that should be answered is if "you were denied a visa", because that is what embodies the rest of the questions. and definitely you know better, YES!, you were denied a visa, The rest doesn't apply! |
