@Frankrobbn1

Thanks for your response. I am just 17 years . Completed my secondary school two years ago when I was 15 years and since then have secured 3 admission and refuse 3 times/ 4. After my secondary school I traveled to Canada for visit. Tried converting my visiting permit to Student, got refused and was told it has to be outside canada. Went to US twice to apply from LA got refused. Then Someone Advice I should applied from Nigeria. Came in Nigeria May 9th 2017 to apply after 6months got the last refusal. I am presently back in US with a Visiting Visa and still have 3 year left on my Canadian vising permit.

I just secure admission for BSc in Regina and also 1 year course in Sask poly. But I need to know, what I am doing wrong before applying for the 5th time. More so I have never stayed beyond 6months when ever I visit Canada, I am still valid visitor to US and I plan to apply from US this time. I also have been to Europe and left when I needed. So I said Jangon, because I have never stayed beyond my stay in any coutry I visit.

I presently secure admission also to US community college and got my F-I 20 but I still prefer studying in Canada

So please I need advice!!!
And you are Just 17 Years? Afraid Catch me .

Wrong moniker. They might look at the school to see if it's accredited and legit program. But they don't look at ratings because it is vulgar to do so. Going by ratings, only students admitted to the highest ranked schools will be getting TRV first. But like we saw the other day, someone with admission from Osgoode Law school was rejected by VO. I can see such rejections perhaps maybe this person failed to show how an education in common law Canadian system would be applicable and translated into Nigerian system.
Like i said, I "Heard"!

Please , someone with a scholarship should have an easy ride?

Changing schools is your prerogative to do and will not paint you as desperate. What will paint you as desperate to a VO is having a first class and going for a PGD. They will think you are trying to escape the country. It is usually hard to justify and I won't stop you from trying if you think you can do so. The big question you would have to answer is can you do networking and information system within a master's degree? The rate of denial as somebody said the other day for a PGD/C, is 10:1 as compared to a masters. I agree.
Sorry to interfere, But I keep seeing "FIRST CLASS", what school did you get this First class?

I heard they look at the School's Rating too, what do i know.

Firstly, congratulations on the award of scholarship.

You see, the issue here is really not about the scholarship but about you being able to convince the VO that you will indeed complete your course and leave Canada. So the onus lies on you squarely to satisfy the officer that completing the certification is your primary motive and also why you have to get it in Canada, how it would improve your current circumstance and that your will leave Canada(this is actually the most important).

They are largely not really interested in how you got the scholarship(You can use this to you advantage in convincing them though) or how much your program cost but must be convinced you will obey the conditions that will be imposed on your temporary stay during your program, can sustain yourself and will depart Canada at the end of your authorized stay should your visa be approved.

You can get your TRV approved if you satisfactory convince them. Considering the short term nature of your certification and also considering you won't need to apply for a study permit, you will have to do a good job answering their unending questions of 'WHY'. The onus is on you.

Lastly, you won't have to go to the embassy. All
processing and documentation are submitted at VFS also know as Canadian Visa application center(CVAC).
You can find out more info about them here
https://www.vfsglobal.ca/canada/nigeria/index.html
I read on this thread, how being married , Having Kids and having a Job here can be very helpful in showing strong ties back home.
Thanks alot , I must confess, I dread being rejected and becasue it my first time, I hope i will be favored.
Thanks once again.

Before you make these considerations, one important thing to ascertain is if the certification is obtainable in Nigeria. This is where it will even start from(from the VO's perspective).

If it is not, then you will have to convince officers why you can't do it else where aside Canada and why you have to do it in Canada considering the expenses and the duration of the program. It will be from that considerations that you will proceed. Aside this, i'm afraid you risk your application to be refused on your purpose of visit even though you may not have to apply for a study permit.
Thank you so Much for the prompt Reply.

Firstly, I said it is a Scholarship i won.
This means that out of over 1 million people who applied for this program , There only 22 seats every year for this program, and i was selected.
There was a written Essay, relevant documents were submitted, Qualifications submitted and CVs.
I feel this isn't just someone who got an easy ride, Isn't The VO seeing it from that perspective?
Secondly, you can't do the Certification anywhere in the world except as a Masters Program. (permit me to keep this program a secret).
It is a program that cost over 16k CAD.
The questions you said the VO could pose are not very sturdy, as it answers itself. (SCHOLARSHIP).
The only expenses here is paying for the Flight and my own personal Expenses.
I have not been to any Embassy B4, i don't know how they do anything there, so am just considering using an agent , but on a second thought, I am trying to see if anyone here can help.

Goodday House, I got a scholarship for a Certification, and it is just for one Month, Am Married and have kids . Am applying to go alone.

Questions.

1. Will this be categorized under student Visa?
2. Do i require a study permit? (Asking Cos it just 4 weeks).
3. Do i require to also prove financial strength? (As almost everything, except travel cost is what i will be paying for, The school is doing the rest)
4. How long does it take to get the Visa ready, so i can plan ahead before the Program.(at least know when to apply)
5. What documents should i be candidly looking at providing? (Very important ones)

Thanks.

Await you all to help out.

@wip7, 2700USD as deposit for master program equivalent to #1,026,000 shocked shocked at #380/1USD. And u guys said is affordable. Please what is the total amount of money to secure the admission needed at first payment. hmmmmm (takn deep breath)
You Only have to deposit 2500USD, and That is around 920,000 Naira if you can get someone to pay online using Mastercard with Enough Cash Limits, Sincerely it is a good investment for a Masters Programme in a very good enviroment, it may look much now, but wait until you get and migrate to the west!

2 KINGS 4:19 He said to his father, "My head! My head!" His father told a servant, "Carry him to his mother." NIV.

Let first clear that in the bible there is no he or she , "Man" was used to describe the Man and woman.
The son that grew and One day went to the farm with the father shouted out, "my head , My Head"!!!
The shout as related to the weather condition of the time, Maybe the sun was so hot he started Feeling the Heat, and The Father said, Take Him to his Mother!

Minister for petroleum Has Grown well enough to attain a reasonable post in comparison to the boy who can follow his father to the farm.

The minister have all it takes to withstand the corruption in the Oil industry and Make it a better place, even though the pressure to be corrupt was high,In comparison to the boy who could not Stand the Heat of the Sun.

And The Minister Is Crying out to the whole people who has been along with her in her dealings, The ones she met there at NNPC and those she brought brought herself, The senators and all the billionaires that helped her and she also helped, All of them have distanced her, But all they could say was, "TAKE HIM TO HIS MOTHER".... Is That the Reason She is alone in Court with Her MOTHER?

Why do Mothers' Have to suffer all the pains?
why do Mothers have to do the Crying each time we fail, Each time we bring and inflict pains on ourselves?

Mothers are stronger than fathers, They will go it with you when it is all gone. cry cry cry cry

BusinessRe: What Is Your Experience With Shoptomydoor by vibrant99(m): 12:59pm On Sep 08, 2015
Hello SHOPTOMYDOOR...

I actually wish Nduka ( My name sake) Himself could get to read this, It is basically on the Delivery of product from The franchise it was purchased through to the courier used and finally to your shed, It is quite simple as the case may be as well as it appears to us the owners of this items, but i know it isn't that simple, a lot of work goes down in this processes and may a times i believe this courier services would love their jobs easier than they have them already, This is actually on the part of SHOPTOMYDOOR, Your place in Houston is our second realistic home for deliveries, in short that place belongs to your customers, and as such should be open at every possible best of times for our items to be brought in, I understand you guys work only for 5 days like the usual Civil service we have here in Nigeria, Observe public holidays and weekends, wonderful because they are humans too, But NO! This is business, You lose nothing even if you don't come to work to receive our packages from this couriers, But to observe weekends on the detriment of receiving packages is not entirely good, Cant anyone or set of people work on this days when the whole establishment is observing a kind of "off" at work?

Why am bringing this up is that, i get emails from USPS most times telling me that my package would rather be delayed because the Business was closed, and FEDEX USA will delay it 2 extra days on weekends and deliver by Wednesday, UPS is even worse, Like they are getting back at us,(Shoptomydoor and ME), so i believe this should actually be considered, if Couriers can work all through the week and make deliveries, It is not to receive them that should be an issue, i have wondered why You guys have choose not to receive packages by weekends and Public holiday and i understand, unless there are other reasons best known to you people, My Observation though!
