No disrespect but if i have an option between flying nigerian airways(if it exists) or flying another airline say virgin atlantic, i will not be thinking about national pride or partriotism, i will select the airline that is less likely to fall out from the sky, the airline that will give me good value for money. i took virgin nigeria only once and the entertainment system did not work for a six hour flight. i have been taking BA for years without any hassle.

Point is a nigerian airways carrier could always turn out to carry out worse actions than the british airways then what do we do Fly Ghanian Airways ?

please cut out the insults. what has caused more deaths to nigerians. domestic flights or international flights manned by foreign airlines. please answer that question first. one problem is major, the other is minor but for some weird reason, we are dealing with the minor issue first. fact remains, nigerians wouldn't have this issue if we had managed nigerian airways. u won't have to deal with foreign airlines if our government controlled airlines was managed well before it was sold.

i dont get your point. the british people do not always fly british airways. of recent the Terminal 5 fiasco has brought down the credibility of british airways. even if there was a nigerian airways still existing, i dont see how that relates to the matter at hand. how many people can nigerian airways lift in a year

why the temper? even the season ticket holders that have supported Arsenal all their lives still cheer the team on. I am an Arsenal supporter and the game is all about team spirit. I watched the man u game with a chinese guy and a couple of friends. After arsenal lost, the chinese guy a united fan shook hands with me and he put off his united jersey and gave it to him while i gave him my Arsenal home jersey. every one in the bar clapped. Now, that is the spirit of football even though i still find it hard to believe i traded my jersey for a united jersey.
point is football is not all about your team winning trophies. it is about the spirit of enjoying the beautiful game, relaxing and meeting people.

I dont still see why all this is an issue that is resulting in insults. this is the least of BA's problems. They just fired two of their top executives after the Terminal 5 fiasco. Naomi campbell has said she will never fly with BA again(which is causing quite a stir compared to this). i mean, just google British Airways and look at the latest news on them. There is no mention of this incident and i think their hospitality on the plane is quite nice. They are not perfect and i think Virgin Nigeria was horrible when i flew with them . the entertainment system did not work and food was very terrible.

Boycott or no boycott, i and every member of my family and my friends will continue to fly with British Airways because this is not a Nigerian issue and neither is it a new issue. It is a human issue and i dont think it would have been treated differently if the passengers were not Nigerians aving reacted that way.

It depends. I am a student now what do u think my priorites aremarriage Hell no. To have as much fun as my youth takes me. Ofcourse there is always that one special lady but there is room for many side attractions. Point is to have as much fun as you want to when you still can. After all, No venture no gain.
