PoliticsRe: Ijaw Deserves 1 Or 2 More States by vicenzo(m): 11:50am On Jan 04, 2013
ow11: Another thread about Ijaw with a lot more Igbo bigots commenting and venting their spleen about what they don't know. The civil war loss has spoilt some people's farm land grab (Cross River) and oil block grab (RV, BY and AK) plans. I am not surprised.

Nigeria needs states based upon ethnic groups simple. If the states are not viable, they can merge with like minded ethnic groups to form a super state. Of course, the Igbos would always be avoided by all and sundry.
"Igbos would always be avoided by all and sundry". Well,i don't think so,not long ago, igalla people were begging for igbos to come and invest in their land. You ijaws have to chill,it wasn't the igboman that poluted your lands while siphoning the wealth from there to their lands(lagos and abuja). Blame adaka boro for that,he gave it to them freely. Hahaha!
The SS may have oil but no market for it but if they can take advantage of it through efficient leadership, they just may succeed but the SS leaders I see are all ravenous wolves

Other countries on the west African coast have already discovered oil and even in Ogun and Lagos, large deposits of oil have been discovered.

However, I believe the SE will lose the most simply because it is a landlocked state and the pressure on the limited and in some cases non existent infrastructure will be unthinkable as Igbos from other regions of Nigeria congregate in Igboland which barely larger than Oyo State.

The North can also prosper if they take advantage of their vast agricultural resource and thrive on agro allied industries

For the SW, the story of its development will be in the inherent potential it has in its people, its rescources and the enlightened elite it has. Rewind back to the Western Region and compare the rate of development of each region and do the maths. If the SW had not been bundled under the guise of federalism into the One Nigeria project, by now SA would have been second best in Africa.
Finally,this guy has lost it.

CultureRe: Igbo Ethnic Group Is Not A Handwork Of The Colonists!!!. It Exist Before Them! by vicenzo(m): 5:25pm On Dec 02, 2012
Abagworo: This is the 1st time you are on point. That's what we should research on and not talk ignorantly. IMHO I believe that Igbo was also one of the clans that made up the greater Igbo or the word was used in reference to something forbidden. There are many towns that bore it as either suffix or prefix even in unrelated clans. In that list of Cuban tribes you can spot "Igbo Nduri" and in Olaudah Equiano's story, he used the phrase "Onye Igbo" in reference to a people who were red in color that were going from town to town to collect slaves. I somehow feel the word "Igbo" is connected with Arochukwu people and meant "Slave people" in ancient Igbo language. Knowing fully well that the Aros wielded so much influence and had interactions very early with the Europeans, it could be from there that the word Igbo originated. If you read the history of Orji Kalu's hometown of "Igbere" they believe that it literally translates to "Nde Igbo ere" which means "people that Arochukwu could not sell". This is purely my opinion but I believe its very much close to the real. How many of you know that the word "Chukwu" is of Aro origin?
What evidence do you have to prove that ''Chukwu'' is of aro origin?
PoliticsRe: There Was A Country, There Was Starvation- Pini Jason by vicenzo(m): 12:16am On Nov 01, 2012
Mr pini is a wise man,in the above quote,he just revealed why ''one nigeria'' has been, and will continue to be a failure. In it's attempt to cage the igbo spirit,''one nigeria'' committed suicide,it sacrificed meritocracy.(an essential nutrient for the growth and advancement of any nation) on the altar of mediocrity, aka federal character.
PoliticsRe: There Was A Country, There Was Starvation- Pini Jason by vicenzo(m): 12:02am On Nov 01, 2012
''There was nothing wrong with the contest between the east and the west for socio-political power, except that no ethnic group in Nigeria want to contest with igbo on equal terms or compete on a level playing field. Nigeria obviously felt happy that it has removed the igbo obstacle by inscribing the federal character in the constitution''

PoliticsRe: Anambra/Kogi Oil Wells - Ownership Still Unresolved by vicenzo(m): 10:10am On Sep 06, 2012
sheyguy: The story of two women fighting over a baby in the bible quickly comes to mind here . . . If i am to jugde from gestures made by both parties in the tussle, Kogi people appear to be right with their claims, because if Anambra truly owns the all of the oil then they shldn't be thinking about sharing it with anybody.
anambra are the ones that want to save the region from war.cos they have a lot to lose.seeing as the oil in question belongs to them.kogi on the other hand has nothing to lose.hence they are taking a rigid stance that may plung the region to war. if you were as wise as solomon.u would easily know who is the rightful owner of oil in question.

bingo!

This is why i am blaming the girl, she should have known that she is on her own, every ABSU student knows this.
Most of the security officers in ABSU are patrons of different cult groups, they are unlikely to follow up this case, they will just caution the cult group involved when they meet.

is your sister an ashawo?

i mean, wtf?

you're on nl, not with your animal buddies in absu
Hehehe! From the way you are going at it,one would think that your sisters are in the "business" and do remit money to it,that might explain your aggressiveness on this thread.

@topic

I am not saying that the rapist did well, just saying that the girl attracted this to herself, she is not the only girl in ABSU.
That is my stance on this issue, all these "jesus people" should leave me alone.

My sister knows better than to collect money from guys and not put out, come on! It's not that they were trying to befriend, they just want sex from her,she know it,she must probably no that they are "cult guys" most of them dont hide it,yet she fell into their trap, she is greedy and stupid, she partly brought this to herself.

That is not enough to r/a/p/e her. What happens to the art of seduction?  Seriously, r/a/p/e is a pretty dismal kind of "sex" in which one person's pain, and possible permanent injury, is the occasion for the other one's pleasure. What most of us mean by sex is something mutual and participatory, loving and uplifting or at least flirty and fun. Not something you buy in "oja oyingbo" or force your way into like a robber breaking into a vault.

You dont have to buy gifts for a girl before you can sleep with her. You cant buy affection. It is really pathetic if you have to go to extremes in
order to sleep with a woman.
I am not supporting the rapists,i am just looking at the issue from a different dimension.

When a fellow student makes his intentions known to you and keep splashing his money on you and u know that you are not interested, one would expect that you reject the money and the gifts, but no she didnt, she would rather eat her cake and have it,she attracted this evil to herself, period.
CrimeRe: Blogger Offers N200k For Information About Absu Gang Of Animals by vicenzo(m): 6:03pm On Sep 19, 2011
Nobody in ABSU is going to say anything, most of my friends there said that the girl is a slut, who "chopped" two of the guys and still refused to comply, she knew what the guys wanted from her when she was collecting their money and gifts, she thought she was a "sharp" girl, the guys set a trap for her,she fell and they "collected" it from her by force.I am not supporting the guys but the girl no try at all, this should serve as a lesson to those girls who see men as "mugu" they can always collect money from without putting out,Udo di.

Kobojunkie:
What eejiotic thinking. So in your mind, the woman is to blame? I hope when your wife/husband eventually takes to bedding your sibling, you own the blame in your situation.

Worse, you have an official elected into high office showing he is likely morally bankrupt, but here you are quick to provide an excuse(eejit) for such possible behaviour. . . . aaagh!!!!

Leaders are supposed to exhibit behaviour that is not typical with their followers . . . that is what makes them leaders in the first place. I mean I remember how some railed against the Senator who married a 13 year old, something typical in his region. Why is this any different? Because it is typical in Enugu and so need not be wahala?

What irks me the most is that most of the people posting the many eejit responses in favor of this sort of behavior will vote come next election to select the next batch of leaders. Imagine then why we keep getting morally bankrupt individuals(thieves/looters, adulterers, child molesters, rapists etc.) into governmental and leadership positions.
Kobo,i agree with you on this one, like most enugu inhabitants i like chime, the guy has been great, but he over did it this time around,if its true.?

Rumour is rife here in enugu that chime has this thing for young virgin girls, whom he sleeps with, without condom, that's the rumour mill anyway.

Chime is not different from most nigerian men,it's just that one expects a good governor like him to have a  better moral standard than average nigerians, but unfortunately he doesnt.
