Look there are as many man-loving-men as you can't just imagine most especially in Europe. Popular fashion designers, musician, book writers, politicians, club owners etc. These group of ppl strongly believe that the only way for them to be properly accepted is to "gayify" the society. The strategy is that the more "gayistic" the society can get, the less the ppl would see man-lover and man-lover related issue as strange and the less there would be discrimination against them as man-loving-men.

If u see a new fashion trend, you have to be informed of what influenced such. The skinny jeans was made popular by the rockstars and if you trace it backward, more than 50% of rockstars are either man-lover or bisexuals. Ideologically, there is no gender difference in the rockworld you can confirm that in their mode of dressing and they are either atheist or satanists.

Ironically many born again Nigerians as they would like to claim would go the shop on a saturday and buy a skinny jeans that was designed and originated form satanic influences and wear same to church on the following sunday to interact with the holy spirit. Does it mean that people are trying to unite evil and holy spirit by establishing a connection between both?

But back in the 80s  I remember all the rage was about Gaddafi and how he was transforming the Libyan society for the better. A lot of the magazines and newspapers then frequently featured him and his projects. So he was a good leader in that the Libyan people were his main focus. Here is a man who not only did these laudable things for his people but also extended his positive influence to other African countries. In a continent filled with clownish despots and shameless greedy nincompoops as leaders how rare is a man like him?

If Libya as a country is holding its own and Libyans have a relatively decent standard of living whats all the rage for then? Democracy? Yeah democracy. You need to define that word for me so I can see if its worth ripping up years of economic stability and progress,internal peace and security for.  Has the man been accused of massacre of his own people? NO. Constituted a threat to his neighbours? No. Ok he had his phase as persona no grata numero uno re his stance and activities towards the  West up to the early 90s. But one must remember that those kind of activities characterised international politics in those days. Even western countries engaged in numerous overt and clandestine engagements which lets just say can not be described as a fiesta. Those were then. The world moved on and values changed slightly. And the man moved with the world. he started to take a more agreeable, cooperative, progressive and global view which was encouraged and celebrated by the West. A view predicated on the philosophy of positive engagement and mutual respect. An immeasurably beneficial stance for the West both politically and commercially.

How is it that the  opinion of the AU doesnt hold sway in a matter regarding an African country? Shouldnt the AU be the first, most reliable and respected source to consult on the way froward in solving any problem of this nature in any of the member states? Would the day ever come that the AU would say `NO` to its wishes and views being  ignored? The events of the last few months in Libya culminating in what we witnessed on the day his house was trashed  make one sad and despondent. Awfully sad

I think the light skin issue depends on the family,my family loves light skin a lot,right from the days of my   great great granfather,male members are adviced to marry  a light skined and beautiful  wife,there is always an unspoken sadness,when someone marries a dark or brown skined wife,even the girls are praised when they marry a light  and skined handsome person,when a family member sees a light skined and beautiful girl child,he runs back home to report to the umunna,who in turn visits the girls parents to ask for the child's hand in marrage,the umunna then presents one of its male members as the suitor.This was the practice long time ago,it is no longer practiced,but because of it,we have a lot of really light skined people in my family and less brown/dark people.

When my dark skined brother wanted to marry an ngwa girl,my mum saw red,but when she learnt that she was beautiful and light skined,she thought that where she is from doesn't matter,lol,as long as she was concerned,it was a chance to eliminate the dark genes,and when she gave birth to three light skined children,it was a win-win situation for my mum and my brother,hehehe!
