I would rather go with this 11:

Goalkeeper: Vincent Enyeama

Right Back: Sam Inkoom

Centre Back: Mehdi Benatia

Centre Back: Karim Haggui

Left Back: Taye Taiwo

Midfield: Alex Song

Midfield: Yaya Toure

Midfield: Kevin-Prince Boateng

Midfield: Andre 'Dede' Ayew

Forward: Papiss Demba Cisse

Forward: Samuel Eto'o
Now,this is a better list.

Gaius67:
I served in Ajaokuta back then when it was managed by the so called SOLGAS from the US. Anybody going there will have a very heavy heart at the level of decay, waste, 'untapped potentials' that we had by way of that complex. There is a special rail line in there linking the complex to Enugu the coal city and Itakpe the Iron ore town. Underground passages stretch several meters all over the complex and the heavy machinery underground are far more than what they have on the surface. I dont know about now, but back then they were adding much power to the national grid electricity wide.
From stories that fly around, the bulk of the problems started when the Russians who designed it left; because they understood and planned the whole thing. The problem with them was that everything was in Russian language - manuals, circuit diagrams and there was a lot of hoarding of info from the Nigerian folks back then. Also a problem is the Government's ignorance of the place and the way forward in making it work; this is apart form the tussle for ownership of the land itself - a big rift between the Igbirras and the Igalas who claim it is their land.
One of the greatest sections of the complex is meant to be the Blast furnace from which casting and all forms of modelling can be done but to date, it is not functional. I learnt that when the place was working briefly after it was commissioned back then, companies used to come with prototype designs for boats, large industrial frames - name it; the capabilities were just too much. The workers there are the most demotivated Nigerian workers - they go to work daily with nothing much to do - sit around and recount the good old days with the Russians, when things were still good; they generated their light, had water 24/7, food very cheap because of the farming communities there and they had lots of expat communities there to.
Its a big shame on naija anyway - we have leaders who take so much pride in intimidating the populace but are empty upstairs. Must the Govt manage everything. Kenya some yrs back made a renowned nuclear scientist to be in charge of their power ministry because the man went to UAE to start up a nuclear reactor their upon invitation, and till date light never blinks in UAE. Such was the idea that Kenya had and so invited him over but in Nigeria it never happens. We have experts the world over who have solutions and potentials to solving so many challenges we have but instead it is made a political affair and all sorts. God help us
Interesting.

are there 2 enugu states in nigeria? how do people fabricate lies just to discredit others, which teaching hospital are they talking about or have in been living a dream for the past 7 months? we really need to be carefull what we post on the internet , chime is the best governor so far, enugu have changed so much, apart from abuja i dont i dont know of any other better city thats better than enugu.
Dude, its true, the doctors at ESUTH park lane, has been on strike now for some months now,i think they resumed work earlier this week.

Wow! Mr "suxs to be yorooba" and rhino have not seen this threae, wait for their arrival.
Chime is oweing nobody, the doctors simply refused to accept their salary, ask enugu state civil workers and pensioniers, chime pays as and when due,the doctors should be considerate, they are always looking at their colleagues in UNTH,forgeting that unth is a federal hospital, enugu state dosent generate much igr,her coal is now second to crude oil, much of the government's revenue is from the federal allocation, they cannot expect chime to pay that outrageous salary they are demanding, there has to be a compromise.
If chime grants their request, how long will it take before other trade unions start demanding their own pay rise.

What has he done to change or add to Ahmed Musa. That guy has potential and could easily be match winners for a brilliant coach.
What is emenike doing in that team? sentiment selection ?. He scored unexpected goal fine, but this is not a national team player stuff.

Andre Uweh:
Ibibio might have been in the South South geo political zone but not in the Niger Delta. Niger delta means where the River Niger emptied into the atlantic ocean. This includes lower Rivers, Bayelsa and lower Delta states. Soon another dullard will come and claim that Obudu that is very close middle belt is in the Niger delta. Its a pity.
Andre, you are right if we look at the term 'niger delta' from the geographical point of view, but we know that the term 'niger delta' has taken more meaning other than geographical meaning,in the mordern day nigeria it simply means states where crude oil are found, that is why ondo,a state very far away from river niger, is considered part of niger delta.
Words do acquire more meaning than they use to have over time.Take the word 'gay' which used to have a pleasant meaning in the time past, but today, we all know whats up.

blkmum700:
The referee didn't favored Barca in that Match except you are talking about another Match,Before Lehmann got sent off for foul on Eto,Guily has already kicked in the ball which should be count has a goal and it's was after that arsenal scored ,if the goal has been allow and lehman given yellow scared arsenal would have consist more goals because they will be all out looking for equalizer which will give barca more room to score them ,so the referee didn't favor barca but allow arsenal to defend and score first.
Many people have been used to current arsenal team defence blunders, that they have come to think that arsenal team have always been like that.
If you watched the heroics of the arsenal defence of 2006 against real madrid in madrid, the work load they put in against juventus and villareal enroute to the final, that arsenal team stood waves and waves of pressure against ronaldo, figo, raul and the entire realmadrid team and came out without blemish in madrid, that team set the record of being the team that conceeded the least amount of goal in the history of the champions league enroute to the final, despite his team finishing second in the competition, lehmann won the best european best keeper that year.
Maybe barca would have won,but it definately cannot be with belletti cheap goal if lehmann was in the post.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Did Arsenal Play Better Than Manchester United Against Barcelona? by vicenzo(m): 11:34pm On May 30, 2011
@texzzapete.
Contrary to your opinion,i think arsenal would have done better if the goal was allowed and lehmann yellow carded, the loss of lehmann didnt help arsenal, don't forget that he was the best goal keeper in europe that season,at 1-1, with lehmann ,arsenal would have had a better chance of winning barca, beletti's winning goal was because of alumnia bad goal keeping, lehmann with the form he was in that season, would have done better, therefore, in my opinion, referee's decision in that match, favoured barca and not the other way round.

How is that a joke? you seem to be reading my post upside down, no one is asking you to praise any team the bottom line is you reap what you sow. Arsenal invest less and they achieved less than United how is that unexpected? However, the thread is really about the 2 teams performances against Barca and as far as I can see Arsenal performed better. Some people claimed they have no shot at goal well that's not the issue its all about the fact that at least they won the first leg, while Barca was only able to score more goals only after Arsenal has been reduced to 10 men. Performances is not only judged by the amount of shot at goal you have but more importantly how much goal you scored and fewer goals conceeded.
WORD!!

European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Champions League Final Barcelona V Manchester United May 28th 2011 by vicenzo(m): 6:50pm On May 28, 2011
This is not just a man u battle for supremacy over barca, with both teams going for their 4th european title, this is also a battle for equality for premier league, spanish league has won this competition 12 times(realmadrid 9,barca 3),serie A 12 times(milan 7,inter 3,juve 2),but english league has won it only 11 times (liverpool 5,man u 3,nottingham forest 2, aston villa 1).
I am an arsenal fan,i don't like man u,but this match is not just about man u,it's also about the premier league.

owobokiri:
Some of us have gotten so used to "choping" other peoples money that we all get all agitated when a little inconsequential sum is PROMISED to those people that own the land from which these resources are generated. If we are practicing true federalism as we should in Nigeria, will the issue of making payments to Niger Delta militants or /ojukwu be dicussed at the federal level? I mean during the first republic, the regions were collecting reveneus and paying taxes as agreed to the federal government. If that was not changed in 1967 by Awo and Gowon, how can Jonathan sit at the center and be collecting all reveneus from oil both from his Bayelsa state and other states like Imo, Abia, Rivers and Delta while deciding how much he will give back? If the Biafrans and the Niger Deltans want to compensate their heroes, they could have done that utilizing their oil earnings directly, without inviting  your frustrations by going to Abuja since the oil money being disbursed is from THEIR BACKYARD. It might help to remember that this is not cocoa and groundnut money that is being shared. Me, I no sabi how person wey you carry for back go dey give you order on how to walk.
may your days be long.
