gay-got! grin

At least, now we all know this guy is a closet poofter.  undecided

You continue with this cretinous comparison of poofterism to race.

You are too dumb the argument is not valid.

You can as well substitute man-lover in your state with paedophile to compare with racism and see how daft you sound.
You are full with bitterness, are you having problem dealing with something,i have never seen anybody as bitter as you before, btw, i am still waiting for you to tell me why man-lover law was easily made, while it took ages to pass the FOI  bill, seems to me the man-lover law was of more importance and priority to F0I,and you wonder why the country is in limbo.

What a dumb post!

Same-sex issues should be the singular factor of determining where one should be resident?

Why do I have to be dealing with dumb people like this FFS?

Two consenting adults? And so?

Does the same Britain that is dictating not ban two consenting adults from engaging with each other?

Homosexuality is obviously not a priority in Nigeria, it is not even an issue. If people want to make it an issue, then we will. At the moment, it is insignificant shyt.

And the normal mooronic comparison of poofterism to racism. As dumb as comparing paedophilia to racism.
You are full of hate.Cretin, mooron are your favourite words,i will undestand if a white man is homophobic, but how a black man could be,beats my imagination.
You feel bad that gays are running around the place looking for equal rights with you, well, you now know how the white conservatives and bigots felt when martin luther king jnr,was running around american looking for equal rights for the blacks.
You are worried about how gay kids when granted equal rights will convert your kids in school to homos, you now know why the white bigots didn't want their kids in the same school with niggers, black skin is a curse they believed, one which they don't want their children to contact.
You don't want to see a gay in your country,it's eyesore you believe, well, the apartheid masters in south african don't like to see blacks,so they built a mini country of their own within SA,where they can see the eyesore blacks as least as possible.
You find it hard to believe that a man would want to s.hag another man,you would be happy if he chose to sh.ag a woman instead, like you do.The racist find it hard to believe that a man can be black skined,he doesn't care about your personality,he would rather have you as a thief in a white skin.
I really believe it's about differences, when will people learn to be tolerant, after we are done getting rid of the gays, does it mean the igbo and hausa will see themselves as one and not see the differences, look at nairaland political section and see that the problem we have in this country is people not being able to look past differences,be it regional, zonal, ethnic, religion, educational advancement, culture, everybody wants everybody to believe in his believes
gays are not our priority in this country? Then how do you explain the fact that we easily made an anti- gay law, while the FOI bill was very difficult to pass.
PoliticsRe: Britain Links Homophobia In Africa To Foreign Aid.is That The Right Thing To Do? by vicenzo(m): 10:58am On Jun 26, 2011
Funny how some of the people promoting bigotry here while bashing the british resides in britain, seriously, if you are so passionate about your homophobia campaign, why don't you leave the perverted british for your holy nigeria,i guess the goodies the brits have to offer is too tempting, even there in britain,we still have bigots, but the truth is that such bigots don't get to wield power, unlike here where bigots wield power, and you wonder why the country is in limbo.

Someone was suggesting a referendum on homosexuality, seriously, since when has what two consenting adults do become top on the list of our priority in this country, apart from hiding behind an abandoned tradition and a foreign religion, what do we have against homosexuals apart from the fact that what they do is disgusting and gross, how does what is disgusting to people affect the price of kerosene and petrol, the state of our infrastruction and economy, heck! I find the act of applying red lipsticks by some ladies disgusting and gross,so what next? Call a referendum to see who is with me so that we can ban ban red lipstick in nigeria,i am sure papa kumuiyi and his deeper life members will support me,the question is, how does any of these apart from pleasing the bigots improve our standard of living in this country.
Don't we have a bigger fish to fry? How about our much needed sovereign national conference, how about a referendum to know who still wants to remain in this country, why are our leaders chasing shadows? Notice how easy it was to make a law against gays and how difficult it was to pass the FOI bill.

Bigotry in all forms should be condemed, you find it difficult to understand how a man will want to shag another man, likewise does the racist who cornered you in an alley with a knife is finding it difficult to understand why a man should chose the wear a black skin rather than a white skin,oh! Wouldn't you want him to understand you were born black, goodluck trying to convince him.

ChinenyeN:
It's not about the tradition/religion being the same/different. It's about wrongly propounding 'African tradition' on issues like this, when we [Africans] ourselves really have [little to] nothing to show for 'African tradition' (in terms of knowledge, understanding, and practice). I may be wrong though, and if I am, Vicenzo, feel free to correct me.

Now, on the topic itself, my issue with all of this is the foreign aid. Any African country which has the resources for self-aid, does not deserve to complain if the west decides to pull foreign aid because of ideologies on homosexuality.
Chinenye,you understand my point.
This war was lost when men like okonkwo failed to protect our tradition from the white man's religion,it was lost when the usman dan fodio conquered our muslim brothers, the bishop is answerable to the white man and emir to the arabs, how can they pretend to speak for us?The fact that africa's interest is been represented by the same white man's priests, who termed our gods devilish, while promoting the white man's god, should tell you that this is a lost war,are they not ashamed, they abandoned the ancient ways and traditions and yet they have the audacity to hide behind the same traditions to condem homosexuality, are they now saying that christianity is our tradition? Hypocrites!
This is the second brainwashing wind of change the white man is directing towards us,like the first wind( which was their education and religion),when calm is restored, africans will not remain the same.
At times like this, it pays to be flexible, bigotry will not help anybody, ever wondered what happened to men who refused to bend to the white man's first wind, they became irrelevant, they brought poverty to their unborn generation, today we know that the families whose forefathers were seen as traitors by our people, for hastily abandoning the ancient ways are now seen as elites in our midsts today, when they speak, people listen.
During the early 70's,a woman wearing trousers was considered wayward,as our people were not used to a woman wearing a garment between her thighs, those days such deviants who violate this rule were mocked in the streets, villages and homes, children will always sing mock songs for them when they walk down the streets or villages, today you hardly see a woman who does not wear trousers today, anyone that doesn't is deemed timid.
In a few years to come, anyone who says anything against gays will be deemed timid and stupid,it has happened before and nothing will prevent it from happening again, the warrant chiefs, the "cotuma" sold us in the past, the politicians will sell us todayangry

The hausaman can't even remember the name of the gods of his ancestors,he has been brainwashed,he now kill his fellow africans in the name of the god of the arabs, yet he screams about his tradition, which tradition? The arab tradition?
Yoruba nation "torn apart" between the god of the whites and the god of the arabs, how many of them still remembers the ancient ways?Yet they all scream tradition!
The igbo is more churtous than pope, yet they scream tradition, how many of them still offer animal sacrifices to the gods of they fathers, when the word "dibia" is  now synonymous to satan.

If you want to be a homophobe please don't hesistate, bigotry is not new,but please don't hide behind  african tradition, because you have long abondoned the ancient ways, the least you can do is to respect our forefathers and let them be,and don't hide behind christianity or islam, for such practices are alien to our ancestors, and the gods knew they fought hard  with their lives to keep those two cultures out of our land, just hide behind your bigotry and defend yourself.

It's funny how some people will condem homosexuallity using christian belief introduced by a white man to africa, don't give me the crap about the church existing in egypt before the white man became christians, for all we know, christainity was introduced into most african communities by the whites, atleast i am sure about igboland, societies always change, people that are flexible survives the change, while bigots get swept out of the surface of the earth by the wind of change.
Not long ago our ancestors fought against the white man's religion and education, people like okonkwo in things fall apart refused to bend and was swept off by the wind of change,i wonder what our ancestors will be saying in their graves,we have abandoned our gods for the god of the white man,any one who refuses to take the white man's education and religion and take the ways of our ancestors is looked upon as an evil man,how can you guys say our tradition forbids man-loving-men,which tradition? The one you abandoned for the white ways? Every where in igboland has turned to a white man's shrine, people worship him in the form of Mary statue(madonna),they respect and honor his priests,a seating governor in igboland became unpopular, but his fate was sealed when he beated the white man's  priest,Amadioha,Ojukwu,Ifejioku,Ngene,Ogwugwu,Odoh, kamalu, igwekala, etc, are dying of thirst, when was the last time you visited them, since you so much like your ancestor's tradition, they have been termed evil,no one wants to serve them again, while the white man's shrine is flooded with cattle, goat, money, etc, and you wonder why all is not well.Ever heard of a tradition without religion? Ever heard of religion without gods? Ever heard of gods without people who worship it.So i ask again, which african tradition is against homosexuality?,the one you observe every sunday?

Yes The likes of Sunny Bobo and the Oriental brothers make Owerre Igbo sweet to the ear. In Sunnys songs he often uses "Yoma" instead of "Lotta or Lossa" which adds to the mystery of the Owerre tongue. As for me, Ngwa and Aba Igbo is like a whole other language. If you're speaking with an Aba native who's been influenced by the native style, you have to open your ears.

And yes Aro Igbo is wonderful. What a small world we live in. Aro has it's own mysteries too because every village (19) has it's own special style of saying certain words. For example people from ugwuakuma say "ande" instead of "ayinde" (us). One can spend a lifetime studying the Igbo language.
Really, 19 villages? That is quite big,i only know of ugwuavo, ibom, obinkita and amankwu, obinkita youths can be violent, last time i went there in december 2009, they were causing trouble and were even shooting,my friend told me that arondizogu people in ideato imo state migrated from amankwu, there are lots of light skined people in arochukwu, and the girls are wow!

An Igbo commissioned officer loosing his life while protecting the lives of a group of people who fought together and bitterly against his own people to keep Nigeria 'One'
The Igbos are truly the ethnic group keeping Nigeria one, loosing their lives in so many crisis engulfing the North because they believe Nigerians must stay together.
Cattle routes and pasture lands must be delineated to avert this kind of crisis and the Fulani nomadic lifestyle has got to be mordernised by establishing ranches for them and teaching them mordern ways of rearing cattles than invading other peoples farm lands. We dont produce more cattle than Europe, we still import milk with all the Fulanis efforts and wars.
The Fulani cattle rearers are increasingly becoming a menace in West Africa not only in Nigeria because of the effects of drought. Solution: State Govt has to invest in ranches for them. Shikena
Well said.

Think twice to decipher the type of Igbo spoken by the Ngwa or those on the extremes of Igboland as you pointed out. But despite the dialect, I believe every dialect is wonderful and must be preserved.
You are right, every igbo dialect is unique and wonderful, for example,i don't fancy owerre dialect, but i am a big fan of oriental brothers, the owerre dialect is so good in music, even though i don't really understand all they say,and i love ikwerre dialect too, especially the brand used by duncan mighty in the song ''jesus bu eze'' oh! I love the way the asaba man says "wa" rather than fa.
Aro dialect is easy to understand,i have a friend who hails from ugwuavo arochukwu,i understand 100% of what he says, when talking with the parents.

Awka dialect can be heavy at times,i think it has something to do with incorporation of other dialects into their original language, places like amawbia have many non-nri migrants who brought with them their own languages which .
The igbo you hear in onitsha is idemili dialect, idemili towns like obosi and nkpor have become part of onitsha, nkpor and obosi people believes that the land your call onitsha today was originally their farmland, onitsha people they believe, came from across the niger.Onitsha dialect always uses v rather than f,fa(idemili) becomes va(onitsha),afia(idemili) is avia(onitsha), saa(to wash in idemili),chaa(to wash in onitsha),ñuo(to drink in idemili), raa (to drink in onitsha).
Nobody uses those onitsha words in onitsha town, except onitsha indigenes, the igbo you hear in onitsha town is mainly idemili, which is very similar to those spoken in njikoka, dunukofia and anaocha areas of anambra.

The variety is Amazing. In my own it's:

"Nsigi na wo jere ulo akwukwo osiso"
What is the name of your dialect? In idemili we equally use osiso, but because every word is usually spoken in its shortest form,we are more likely to say"oiso" rather than osiso.
Some dialects normally use ekwukwo instead of akwukwo, they always tend to replace a with e, so that ano becones eno, akpa(bag) becomes ekpa, akwu(palm fruit) becomes ekwu,i have a friend who hails from alaye in bende abia state, whenever he is speaking with his parents,i always notice this replacement of a with e,nkanu people in enugu are equally guilty of this.

You are a what?

Was Ajax or Marsielle big clubs when they won or just good clubs with good players?

So when Red Star Belgrade won it in 1991, does that make Red Star Belgrade a big club?

So when FC Porto won it in 2004, does that make FC Porto a big club?

So because Greece won Euro Championship, they are a big team?

Because South Africa won ANC, they are a big team?

Because Senegal played well at WC they are a big team?

You are a mooron.

What happened to defending all your rubbish statements I slaughtered earlier? You have no pride in your statements?

Finidi played for ajax,a bigger team than man u,ajax has won the champs league four times while man u has won it trice.

Nonsense! The 1996 AFY Kanu won was purely sentimental. I even remember deep down back then think he was not the best but it was given because they thought his career was over after his brilliant performance that brought pride to Nigeria and Africa.

State a season when Kanu was the best player in his team.

State a season when the Super Eagles depended on Kanu.

Okocha is greater by a mile.
Gosh! Can you listen to yourself, now i know that your case is hopeless, you now have better judgement than CAF,what else? Arsenal, ajax, inter bought him out of sentiment, defenders allowed him to score out of sentiment, you are pathetic.

This is utter rubbish!

Fifa more often pick WFoTY from winning teams because normally the great player drives or contributes to the teams winning.

The less often they do not pick from a winning team, they pick a great player that drives or contribute to a team that did not win anything.

Point: Fifa picks players that are uniquely talented. It has very little to do with team!
You are one arrogant f.ool,i guess uniquely talented players, plays for bolton,3sc,etc and not big teams, your coconut head did not tell you that only uniquely talented footballers get to play for teams like ajax, arsenal, inter milan,i guess you have heard of a world footballer of the year who won it while playing for bolton, for the fact that kanu was able to attract the attention of teams like arsenal, ajax, inter milan, shows that he is a uniquely talented player, because only uniquely talented players attracts the attention of those teams.

Great players are always a part of a winning team, thats why fifa have more often than not picked the world footballer of the year winner from the team that won titles, kanu has featured for a title winning team than okocha or any other nigerian, that should tell you who is greater.
Personally i don't like kanu type of football,he reminds me of ibrahimovich, but okocha is more of an entertainer than a footballer, for a guy with his skills and ability its a shame he is second to kanu, stats don't lie.
