Have you received the election result 'Auction' from the Tribunal yet ? I have instructed my cash and carry lawyers to proceed to the NL election Petition Tribunal to challenge the 'php' election fraud perpetuated in the just concluded voting!, it must be ONE Man Two Votes, One Woman No Vote! , congrats bro, every little effort is recognized, you have helped saved the pockets of a reasonable majority, kudos for the recognition, watch out for the add in the Pakistani Taliban Newspaper.,
Are you Buhari? ![]() |
Dis Guy:That's what you think, fair enough to think so. But if you are inviting a woman into a country, and you claim that the woman is your girlfriend, isn't the onus on you to prove your claim? And even if you're inviting an ordinary friend, you'd still be required to prove your friendship. Also, as for the accommodation details; the fact is, you would not be eligible to invite a person to reside in a house which you do not have any documented tenancy rights to; this is the regulation |
nwabobo:Everyone knows that Boyfriend and Girlfriend relationship issue is supposed to be a home and family affair, so, booking a hotel is something odd and suspicious, booking a hotel would be ok if you're merely inviting a sex partner. |
worry246: nwabobo:Absolutely NO. Do not book a hotel for your "girlfriend" to stay, she needs to stay with you as a partner in a valid and genuine relationship. And because, you are inviting her as her boyfriend, and she is applying for the visa as your girlfriend, booking a hotel would be a miscalculated step which may result in suspicion and eventually in visa refusal, that would be a wrong thing to do. Get yourself an accommodation with a tenancy agreement, and until that is achieved, do not apply for the visa |
I am sorry, just admit it. Knowingly the Immigration Rules/Legislation or haven gone through the process yourself, you should know that there is no way your previous and present offence would in anyway be added up. UKBA has repeatedly made it clear that it is the last of the strings of offences that the counting date of the ban would begin. Hence in Her case, it was obvious that if she were to serve the ban, it would begin from Her most recent.
I really do not need to read your long and vain epistle, i just want to insist that you have problem understanding my English, or perhaps, due to grievances. Read this quoted line carefully and get the English right. Vicjustice:If you still can't understand that i never suggested that bans could be added up, that's up to you |
nwabobo:My friend, this is enough reason for visa refusal; ideally, you do not have the authority to invite someone to reside in a house that you do not have the documented tenancy rights to. nwabobo:Unfortunately, many Nigerian students have demonstrated that schooling in Nigeria is not worth something to return home for, therefore, this might not be enough home obligation, but nevertheless, it may be as well be a good obligation depending on what she is studying and how she's doing well in the studies: for example, a 200 level Engineering student stands a better chance than a final year student of History. |
You still don't understand my English: Now, lets assume that someone says; "If Europe were to implement laws correctly, Murderers should face capital punishment", does that mean there exist capital punishment in Europe?
@second part in bold. Not sure if you are a QC or a KC, but I think we need to be careful here when trying to give advice. Same happen last year in this forum where a case posted by an OP and similar proclaimation was made and when I had a discussion with a colleague who is a QC, He showed me an Appeal court judgement which negated the views that was canvassed in the thread at a time.
You will only waste the OP time and money, go ahead and "advise" the OP to employ the best solicitors in Nigeria, but i'll be interested to know the legal ground on which you are making her case.
@OP, I would like to know which category of visas you applied for before I can give you advice. It is not all doom and gloom with issues of 'seemingly' deception. I have a case in mind similar to yours which I was privy to and it was upturn during a Judicial Review. But like I said, I need to know which category of visas you applied for, your immigration history in the UK and if your to get an honest advice, state clearly if you ever had any criminal records/debt in the UK while you were a student here
The OP opening post explains all, your questions were already answered in it, you may now commence the work based on the info provided |
@ First Part in bold, seemingly not correct. You do not get cummulative ban. You only serve your most recent. Check the UKBA internal guide for ECOs. Clearly stated there.
I quote myself in context: . . .From what you narrated, you were not given the 10 years ban based on your overstaying in the UK, but rather for withholding the information, and that places you in the category of those who try to obtain the UK visa by means of deception, and this act attracts the 10 years banSo, what part of my English is it that you don't seem to understand? Tell me the line of my post that justify your claim that i suggested accumulative ban |
Is there anyone who can create animation like this? I have a contact who wants to make an animation video promo. Please, leave a line if you can create or you know someone who can [flash=630,380] https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BO3N6VdYCjY[/flash] Video: Attempting To Impress A Lady, Gone Wrong |
jenny2007:I should be honest with you. First of all, as you turned over 18 years (when you overstayed your visa), you were considered an adult responsible for your own actions, therefore, your overstaying in the UK alone attracts up to 10 years ban, but from what you narrated, you were not given the 10 years ban based on your overstaying in the UK, but rather for withholding the information, and that places you in the category of those who try to obtain the UK visa by means of deception, and this act attracts the 10 years ban. Now, if the rules were to be implemented correctly, you would be receiving a 20 years ban, but for the fact that 10 years is the maximum sentence, you have been placed in this maximum ban. And unfortunately, you can do nothing about this, do not bother wasting your money on any solicitor as they can not do anything to overturn the ban; know that you have no lawful ground on which to challenge the decision since there are evidence that you are actually guilty of the Immigration rules violation |
My people i salute una o! I'm impressed that some people still like me, despite the recession .Let me also use this opportunity to congratulate Siena and Omo_tier as their presence and selfless services are well recognised; also, i appreciate that there are lots of (unmentioned) others, who are worthy contributors to the excitement of this great forum. My appreciations also to Justwise and Mukina, keep doing what you are doing well. Thank you all. |

Siena:Easier said, Siena. But how would you like to be unnecessarily stopped and frequently questioned at length even though you know you've done nothing wrong and that your documents are updated and valid? The NPF knows that you're clean, but they would do anything to delay you and force you into "sorting" them in order to minimise the unnecessary delay. If one decided to give them money just to let sleeping dog lie, i don't reckon such person as a briber, but rather as a victim of police robbery. Why would i be interested in writing down the numbers on a police officer's badge and taking it to higher authority when i know that 200 Naira will save the stress? |

enomakos:Apparently, Lithuania does not have any embassy nor consulate in Nigeria, but being that it is a Schengen State, other Schengen embassies would cover it. |
how can i invite my dog and tortise to the UK then Okay, vicdustics, gimi a sample invitation letter
That's not a big issue, i mean, family visit visa is even easier: You only have to follow the letter guidelines; just let them know that the dog, the tortoise and you are of same parents. |
alfablondy:I don't accept that "Justwise and Vicjustice" are so foolishly arrogant that "they would only see those who agree with their opinions as good people", and i don't accept that if someone makes a true and reasonable comment the two would turn it into falsehood. But if anyone makes any misleading comment, it is everyone's responsibility to respond and put things right to prevent damage; and Sapele_Don's contributions in this matter are dangerous |
megeness:Yet, people like this would be going about accusing BA and other financial sectors of "racism" for refusing to trust Nigerians with money. |
syedmohsin:It is one thing if the Visa Officer suspects that you're making an attempt to conceal something, but another thing if they understand that there was an error. Now, if your passport has never committed any violation before, they may see the number error as a mistake which they will write a brief text on as a remark. If your passport has never committed any violation, You should be fine; no worries. |
dalobaba:The red highlighted line has said it all, so, Coppers may not be issued a visa on that ground |
syedmohsin:Can't you write in standard English to make people understand you? Did you mean you overflowed your passport number by entering an extra number like A57583841 instead of A5758384? If so, you should be fine, the visa officer will see it and make correction which is within his rights, and unless there are other violations or you are not considered eligible for the visa applied for, no Visa Officer may refuse your application based on that number overflow |
