Please Nairalanders help me on this one Is there anyway to authenticate VISA stamped of US and Canada through websites
Also , if there is no such websites how do we go about protecting our self from such frauds and authenticating from the real VISA to SCAM because i feel some agents are playing smart on us here in Nigeria especially those that says no deposit until the visa is out.

justwise thanks for your reply,if i have to know the truth about the visa if it is real or fake at the airport before i leave the country,then i must have paid the guy that issue the visa out which is risk,i want to verify the visa before payment because those agents normally gives time to verify it,and i also know they are smart,plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz guys i want someone full of experience on visa issue to help out,this is a serious case.

Knowing where the poster is coming from, i do understand what he was trying to express, and i also do understand why Justwise jumps in.
  To be honest, if you compare this section to that of "Politics" etc, you'd be forced to accept that this section could be really dry, observing that there are times when less than 15 threads receive comments in a whole day. But yet, that is nobody's fault, it has all got to do with interests: Know that (though Nigerians are well renown for travel,) but most people don't like spending their time writing about travel like they do when it comes to politics or businesses (making money). And the fact that scammers are being repelled is also making it dry

You can't compare Travel Section to 'Politics' section, politics section will always be busy as it deals with current affairs and there is no short of bad/good news on daily bases to make the front page. Issues in politics section touches almost every area of our lives hence everybody has an opinion.

People who visits travel section comes for  travel related issues only, take a look at UK/Canadian or US student thread, it gets busier during admission seasons or summer time and after the visa is secured they may not come back here again in a yr or two until they have another visa issue.

Its not fair to allow people to use this Travel Section as their scam base, defraud Nigerians and laugh to the bank while we read and laugh.

The absents of scammers  can only be bad news to a very few people here, if that makes the travel section dry then i make no apologies for that.

A South African lady, who ingested hard drugs for onward ‘export” to Malaysia, has been apprehended by officials of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) at the Murtala Mohammed International Airport (MMIA) Lagos.
The suspect, 38-year-old Nene Fikile Happy-Girl, was going through screening at the departure hall when she suddenly held her tummy and screamed to see a doctor immediately.

Rather than take her to the doctor immediately, the anti-narcotic officials rushed her first to the dreaded 3-D scanner before granting her request.
The scanner revealed that she ingested some drugs later discovered to be methamphetamine.
She could no longer board the Emirates flight to Malaysia and under observation she excreted 55 wraps of methamphetamine that weighed 700 grams.
According to the Airport Commander, Hamza Umar, the suspect, unlike others, gave up herself when she could no longer bear the pain.

Preliminary investigation, Hamzar said, revealed that she travelled to Malaysia from South Africa. It was in Malaysia that she was recruited to smuggle drugs from Cotonou in neighbouring Benin Republic where she ingested the substance.
In her confessional statement, the single mother said that she wanted to make life better for her 19-year-old daughter.
“I am a single mother and I trade to take care of myself and daughter. I visited my friend in Malaysia and it was there I was convinced into coming to Cotonou to collect the drugs. They gave me the drugs in my hotel room and I forced myself to ingest the wraps,” she said.

What you then suggesting is that South Africans should report 3 823 655 more crimes to just be on par with the UK. You made a foolish statement that SA beats the UK in crime, I then provided you with simple stats and now you trying to defend your unresearched blunder by postulating. The truth is that South Africa has one of the highest murder per capita rates(total murders divide by total population) in the world and it is this unfortunate little statistic that western and also South African media use to paint SA as the worst crime capital. Please read through the article provided to see that the UK is not so rosy.
