Yes she is on Housing benefit to pay her rent for now which is about 850 pounds. The money i send her monthly is for her upkeep with 3 kids. This money may not be enough for both rent and upkeep. I have 2 yr visitors visa and was even in the UK in October. We could get off the housing benefit and start paying the rent myself if that will sort out the rent and benefit issue.
Please advise.

I was just been refused a student visa yesterday. The reason is this,l used an agent and we are three in number and we all used Access Bank savings account. Three of us got 4million naira each into our account through bank tranfer from an access bank holder's account,note that the 4m is not a round figures. We all kept the money for 28days and apply. Now the embassy contacted the bank together on our account together from the headquarter and not from our branch,so therefore the bank reply them and said that we all have money for 28day but only 4m is present and is using respectively in the three account for same purpose at thesame,meaning we're all using thesame account which is false statement because we got different account numbers with transaction alert. Pls l want to know the wise steps. Thanks

Can  i make use of surulere registry marriage  for visa purposes,  My wife will use it for a UK dependant visa as soon as we get married

Or is it Ikoyi registry that we should use

On the maintenance clause - I have 12,000 pds saved
On Accommodation - She lives in a 2 bedroom apartment
I have already registered with Reed and Monster jobs
On third party- We could get a 3rd party to vet our application.

Thanks Justwise.

Her 6 months statement will show my monthly remittance of 1,000 pounds to her account.
Her Visa card account will also show my remittance of about 500pounds every month.
This is all good right?
And hope this will show that I am willing and able to support my family.
Expectedly once I get there, they will stop paying her housing benefit and I will take over.
That's the only issue I have anyway - the housing benefit stuff.

You can even sell the business in Senegal and start up in your home town

Thats where i come in,  I get  a letter from my employer, stating the nature of my job, similar to what KennyG described above, then see how it would be handled.

Its just that i want to be very sure before going into this, I wouldn't want a situation some immigration personal collects money from me to get a passport only for me to get involved with a funny "crime".

I applied for a 6 months uk visa about a week ago but was refused just because I did not state that I was refused a visa in 2007 - This was an error of oversight as I did not have any intention of concealing this information. I didn’t change my date of birth or name. It was really an oversight.
I have been given a limited right of appeal
can someone please advise if I should appeal or re-apply and what should be stated in the application.
Please this is not a time for casting stones as I already know that it was really a silly mistake. All I need now is a honest advise. Thanks in advance for your help.

I was in a similar situation in the past. Issued such visa for 2 years and never used it due to busy schedule.

When i applied for another one, they asked why i had not used the former. I only told them the truth that my work is quite busy but that i would make every effort to visit the US when issued another one. Simple, no long story. Given another visa for 2 years.
