Before i say something about why i decided to share these pictures, i want you guys to realise that it is only a nonentity whose photos are as secured as a diamond, and that there is no important person in this world whose photos are not as common as pebbles. Also, realise that there is no important person whose surname is a secret, so, if you consider your surname so private, it therefore means that you're a nobody because, if you're a somebody, everyone would know your full identity. I've always believed these and i used to have my genuine photos in this forum and my profile picture was one from my wedding, but then, i was compelled to withdraw them as a result of the bashing and attacks that i got from critics, and even one Nairaland lady (name withheld) admitted to have saved my photos and threatened to take it to a "Babalawo" in Ijebu-ode : Not that i was, and never would i fear such barbaric threats, i am only bothered that a young woman (who knows how to use the internet) could even have a thought for such thingsI took these photos on my wedding day and i see no reason why they should be kept in secret because, i believe that wedding photos are supposed to be shared even to the whole world. bolame:Germany and Poland are both EU and Schengen countries, so, it's not the same as isolated Georgia bolame: bolame:A little element of politeness in your post would have meant some decency. Well, just to let you know that it is as much difficult for a Georgian citizen to get a visa for any EU country as it is for a Nigerian citizen, so, your being in Georgia is of no advantage to migrate into other countries. Cheers |
henry1818:If your success chance is 50/50, that would be awesome, but as much as i hate to hurt your feelings, i must be honest to tell you my perspective that your opinion about "abroad" countries is too naive. henry1818:Pastors should be more concerned about reaching lost souls, and not encouraging people into uncertain ventures in faith, for miracles and grace to shower from heaven in expectation of vows payment. henry1818:I don't know if i am an expert, but i know for sure that i am experienced in Immigration matters, yet with rooms for errors; and here i am happy to be giving you a heartfelt advice. henry1818:To be honest, if i were in your shoes, and i know that my entire being and all that pertains to me seem to be worthless in Nigeria, and my future seems to be hoovering about in a bottomless pit, i might be compelled to take similar drastic measures knowing that my odd of success is only 1/4 henry1818:It is so unfortunate that many pastors preach about blessings and prosperity more than they ever preached about the danger of neglecting salvation. I happened to have attended 2 services in 2 different Churches, where the pastors were making alter calls for people who desire to travel abroad, and there was this silly Pastor who was promising that the "blessings of God" will enable undocumented immigrants to prosper within "6 months". But my friend, tell me; how do you expect to make it within 1 year and then move to Canada from Israel? This naive mentality is not encouraging at all for a person of your calibre who had worked in a reputable field: Even Nigerians who migrated to Israel with work permit and had found jobs in professional trades like Engineering can't make it that soon how much more you with a tourist visa. Don't disappoint me. |
henry1818:A person has to have a legal ground based on abstract rights which is due to him or her by law, tradition or nature in order to employs the services of a solicitor; therefore, whoever informed you that you can use a solicitor to fight your tourist visa into a work permit does not know the difference between privilege and rights: Visa is a Privilege, it is not a Right, therefore, you can not use a solicitor in the regards. You may have to seek asylum in Israel, and it's going to be in an uphill struggle, and you should expect any of these ends: 1) Frustration and giving up the struggle and volunteering to return to Nigeria 2) Granted a permit to stay in Israel on humanitarian ground 3) Get involved with an Israeli woman and eventually get legalised under her 4) Become a fugitive in Israel 5) Be ready to many indefinite years from hope to hope and in hope of amnesty. So, consider these before going to Israel to settle down with a tourist visa |
henry1818:The visa issued is for what purpose or of what category? |
bolame: bolame:The Miles and Smiles programme works like the Skyteam Blue Miles, and while you are allowed to enter into the membership, you need to be a frequent flyer in order to earn enough flying miles points to win any price or discount that the airline companies offer; so, you can't just get such offer straight away, you can only earn some few points from every trip with the company. And to answer your other question regarding the UK transit visa, What you are intending to do is not called a "transit", but a Stop-Over, transit (in aviation language) is supposed to be an onward trip on a single ticket by one airline company; for example, you are flying to Tbilisi (the capital city of Georgia) by British Airways, and the plane is obliged to land in London before completing the journey to Georgia, in this case, you are qualified to apply for the UK transit visa. But not when you are using Pakistan airline and you want to stop over in London and then proceed with a Greek airliner to Tbilisi, it just doesn't work that way: You will not be given a transit visa if you are flying with a company that does not do transit. Dear, i have taken into consideration how you're trying very hard to reduce the costs of your trip and how you are even considering taking up to 5 different routes just to reach your destination, even at the risk of your health, and even pleading for someone to sell you "Miles & Smiles" points to aid your trip; therefore, i feel responsible to advice you to really settle down and recalculate the costs of everything and reconsider this education adventure, and i need you to tell me if you think you're ready for all the difficult challenges ahead. Know that your education in Georgia will not be of much advantage: I am concerned that you are not financially capable to study in a country like Georgia, and like i brought to your attention before, Georgia is not in Europe (not in "East Europe" as you are insisting, but it is an extremely poor country in South-western Asia, bordering the Black Sea, between Turkey and Asian part of Russia: Do not expect that you would find a job in Georgia, you'd be needing finances from Nigeria for support, and your certificate will not be recognised in Europe or any normal country, are you sure you're ready for this? |
chinboy:I see. That particular post was probably locked due to violation resulting from other posts or an infraction from your own post: but that doesn't result in your every post being disallowed, you'd rather be banned from making any post at all |
afam4eva:Indeed . But Chinboy, what do you mean? |
michdav001:Even if you travel to Senegal and apply for the Netherlands visa through a Latvian embassy, you will be found out as they are all Schengen countries sharing the Schengen Information System (SIS) database |
Dear, you will be engaging yourself in an uphill struggle, and it would be near impossible for you to make it through, i warn you. First of all, 1) You'd need both the Schengen transit visa and the Turkish transit visa, and you'll have to pay the application fees even though the visas can not be guaranteed. 2) There is a good chance that you will not succeed in getting either or both visas as you do not have a compelling reason for them because, as a Ryanair passenger, you are not eligible for transit visa, since Ryanair does not do transit: you will therefore be required to obtain tourist or visiting visas for both Turkey and the Schengen. 3) If by miracle you managed to obtain both the Schengen and the Turkish visa, you must not carry a luggage exceeding 15 KG, otherwise, you will be charged 40 euros for every extra KG; for example, if your luggage weighs 19KG, you will be required to pay 160 euros for the extra 4 KGs. 4) The fee you see with Ryanair is only the enticing amount, but when you start making the booking, you'll see other costs accumulating, for example, you see a "cheap" ticket from Morocco to Belgium costing only 10 euros, but then, you will have to pay about 50 euros for "Tax", and then, you will be charged another 45 euro for your 15KG luggage, and finally, you will be charged for your Credit Card usage, and yet, you will receive an email about 15 days prior to your scheduled departure advising you to do online check-in (that would also cost some money) as failing to comply will cost you much more money at the desk on departure day: 5) You must take the arrival and departure times into account as you would most likely be an airport sleeper in different countries, How would you feel if you arrived (lets say) in Brussels at 13:00 o'clock, and the next departure time is at 09:00 o'clock the next day? 6) Finally, Ryanair is only good for direct flights especially within Europe, if you want to book multiple Ryanair flights to compensate for their non-schedule destination, you will only end up punishing yourself and paying more money with lost time with regretful personal stress |
Guitarlife:Take these points into account: *Be prepared to always watch your back whenever a person walks behind you as the Skin-Head racists there are extremely physical and can attack you with deadly force. * Always make sure you don't walk alone at night or in an empty street during day time. * Always make sure you're fit and athletic enough to enable you run fast for your life whenever you're being chased in the streets by their Skin-Head racists. * Prepare yourself to always elude banana missiles that would be thrown anonymously at you in the streets from storey windows. * Be prepared to get familiar with the "Hail Hitler" salute, and also with the name "Makaka" (Russian word for Monkey) without protest as protesting them may cost you blood. * You'd learn to be appreciative whenever someone says to your face "Go home Nigger" or calls you "Makaka" because, the same person could have shot or stabbed you and ran away. * Be prepared to be mockingly offered bananas occasionally, and know that you won't have any police to report the abuses to as there is no law in place against racism in Ukraine. * Ensure that you have enough funding from Africa to maintain yourself as you would never find a job how much more to talk about its poor wages ranging from 754 to 900 Ukrainian Hryvnia (about 70 to 85 Euros) a month. * Be prepared to sometimes sleep in extremely cold room during their biting winter as you might find it difficult to pay for the Soviet style central heater. * Be prepared to study in an ancient Greek style alphabets * Bear in mind that your education certificate will not be recognised in EU countries as you will definitely have to upgrade. * Bear in mind that you would have to return to Africa as soon as you finished your education because, you would not like to become a wayward person like many stranded and frustrated Africans before you. * If you're not yet married, then, you may benefit from the only good thing that i reckon about them, they have some of the most beautiful women in the world: tall, slim, blonde an elegant sexy girls who crave for black guys. |
worry246:That's not true, you don't pay a penny at check-in desk unless you ignored their emails and failed to make the check-in online, in that case, you'd be charged to make the manual check-in at the desk; also, you may be charged to pay 40 Euros for every extra kilogram of weight exceeding the allowed 15 KG |
Ha, i actually thought i'm the only one getting these annoying emails, the whole thing started since the day a Nairaland user requested to have a personal correspondence with me, and i made a great mistake of dropping my email address here, and since then, it has become a mail box for every silly scammer; the good thing is that they are now getting only into my junk mail box |
chinaaman:Honestly, that man shouldn't have been killed (without a fair trial) since he was captured alive, the internation law forbids the killing of any Prisoner Of War, but then the US is also guilty of same crime, they captured Bin Laden alive and yet proceeded in killing him with a bullet to the head, therefore, the illegal killing of Gadhafi is going to be ignored by the US as they would not want to face accusing fingers of critics: both the Killing of Bin Laden and that of Gadhafi are illegal, only that of Saddam Husein is legitimate |
bolame: bolame:Yes, it is possible and legal to book Any Air ticket from any country and for any destination, but for fear of fraud, most airlines do not allow credit card payment from Nigeria, therefore, you'd find it difficult to pay for the online bookings which is the main method of transaction that Ryanair loves. Yet, unfortunately, Ryanair does not fly to any airport in Greece from Morocco, and besides, even if they would, you would not be eligible to fly with it as you do not have a visa for Greece, (Georgian visa does not cover any Schengen state). Also, Ryanair is a "direct flight" airliner, it does not do transit hence onward flights are not practical with Ryanair: This means, you are required to book and pay separately for each leg of the trips, and you must pick up your luggages at every Airport that it lands in, and you'll have to check them in again into every next Ryanair plane, so on and so forth until you arrive your final destination. Once before, i almost lost my valuable luggage on my way to Riga from Athens, i booked with EasyJet from Athens to Berlin, and from Berlin to Riga, and it didn't occur to me that they were two separate flights with no connection whatever (except that they are same company). I arrived in Berlin at about 21 o'clock and had to sleep at the airport awaiting the next flight scheduled for the next day, 05 o'clock. I eventually arrived Riga, and went to the luggage collection area, i waited for more than an hour until every luggage that arrived with my flight had been collected and other flight luggages are rolling on, that was when i realised my mistake and quickly went to report to the authority who then helped me to confirm that the luggage was still in Berlin and had been broken open by airport security officers. I got the luggage the next day, nothing was missing from it, thank Goodness, it didn't happen at a Nigerian airport . Trivially, Georgia is not in East Europe, but Asia geographically |
bebe2:If only you ccould ask her what she did to warrant such drastic action against her |
Nonsense!!! It used to be rumoured that some Hausa guys had this special black-power mnagic charm through which they rob victims of their own Pea-Nuts, but i'm beginning to question such claims, i do not believe it, i need to see a man whose pea-nut is missing before believing such aweful claims |

avril15:My borther's wife got her spouse-visa after 3 year of waiting and a denial. avril15:No, if they found anything suspicious with your documents or in your application, they will contact you to report (at the embassy) for interview; giving you the benefit of doubt as their protocol requires: by no way would they discard your documents or void the application, nor would they dismiss it without digging deep to ascertain the documents, and they will not reach a conclusion without confronting you with their findings giving you the chance to prove yourself. This is the international general protocol of every embassy. IMPORTANT! Now, if you know that there is anything (fake) with your documents, i will personally advice you to request to cancel the application so you may have the chance to withdraw the questionable document(s) before they find out; because, if they find that out themselves, you might have to forget about Europe for the rest of your life |
Taiw:The truth is, had you returned for the following interview, you would have gotten into trouble, they (most likely) have arranged with the Police to take care of you. Now, if "they were not convinced that you were trully married", then that means they see the marriage certificate that you provided as fake and that alone has attracted a Life Ban from the USA. |
Ha, you're also here? Check your other thread |
avril15:Spouse visa is not the same thing as Tourist or Visitor visa: so, be aware that while Tourist or Visitor visa could be decided within a couple of weeks, Spouse visas usually take months and (in some cases) years before reaching decision. This is because, it takes more verification time and also, the authority use the waiting period to try the genuineness and the stability of your marriage; it might interest you to know that a lot of marriages do not survive these lengthy periods especially when they are arranged or paid marriages. Just relax as long as you're confident that your own marriage is concretely genuine. ![]() |
mayblossom:Though, this thread is in regard to the UK Visa, but your question is in line. Well, it is not the fault of the Spanish embassy that it took 3 months to "legalise" your documents, but rather, it was your own fault that you didn't already have the concerned documents "legalised" prior to your visa application. Now, you can definitely win this case on appeal, but it shouldn't be you that would be doing the appeal in Nigeria, it should be your husband who would be doing the battle in Spain: the Spanish authority might delay it until they have exhausted every considerable reason to deny you, but at last, the natural law will catch up. Note: It is very important that your husband maintain good social, economic and financial record so the Spanish authority won't have any reason to refuse you at the long run because, once he fails to meet these requirements,, (for example he got convicted as a Law-breaker), your chance may be ruined for life |
Hi all, i decided to dig out this buried thread since i noticed that a lot of people are still finding themselves victims of the situation that i narrated in this thread. |
Why would anyone even encourage the Poster to apply for any country's visa in his stated condition? Please, don't encourage him to waste his money knowing that he would not even succeed in getting a Somalian visa how much more one for an EU country |
llbhuds:OBJECTION! This conversation should proceed on so other people may learn a lesson from the poster's experience |
Shinor:First of all, Ryanair is not British but Irish. What the repair technicians did was not as silly as the news made it seem, those who know about aircraft know fully well that the air inside aeroplanes is pressurised just like vehicle tyres, and therefore, those technician know better than to expect an ordinary piece of tape to secure a wind-shield window strong enough to hold extreme presure compressed air from gushing out of the plane. And having given my perspective, i do agree with this explanation: "The Irish Aviation Authority said the tape was being used as an extra precaution to secure a new window seal". |
