amibo pro:By my crude calculation, if your encounters with the UK embassy occurred about 3 years ago, then, your admission into Romania should be quite recently, perhaps 2 years ago. So, i'm also looking at the period of time that it took you to acquaint and develop a relationship with your spouse until marriage stage: Pardon me to be honest in expressing my concern that your story is not credible because, i don't know any country in the EU that issues its national passport to immigrants in such a short period of time for the mere reason of their marriages to its citizenS. Honestly, i understand that you're not being generous with the truth. However, Romanian (like Bulgaria), are EU states, but they do not enjoy the full benefits of the union due to their failures to meet the full required standard (mainly in the issue of corruption and the generated poverty), hence their rights in the EU are limited with restrictions. You can enter the UK with the Romanian passport, but you should acknowledge the fact that not many black people hold Romanian passport, therefore, you might be subjected to scrutiny, and remember that the UK immigration can refuse you entry if they find out who you are: I hope your data with the UK authority will not jeopardise your identity with the Romanian authority otherwise, you risk being charged with identity fraud which might have serious consequences. |

' The parents of a 15-year-old stabbed to death in Tyrrelstown, west Dublin, have condemned his murder as a racially motivated killing as gardaí last night continued to question two brothers in relation to the fatal knife attack. Toyosi Shitta Bey (15), from Mount Eustace in Tyrrellstown but originally from Nigeria, was fatally stabbed in the heart as he walked through his estate towards home with a group of friends at 8pm on Friday night. "They killed my son because he was black. God has taken him from me but in my dreams I can see my son," his mother Segun Shitta Bey told the Sunday Tribune. "He never did anything to anyone. All he did was play football, that was his life. Is it a crime that he is black? My life is finished in Ireland. I regret ever coming here." Toyosi was one of six children and has lived in Ireland since he was five years old with his siblings, his mother, and father Bola Shitta Bey. He was a talented footballer and played for Shelbourne football club under 15s. Yesterday, at their home in Tyrellstown, his family expressed their anguish and deep sense of loss over the teenager's murder. "Does black mean nothing to some people? Why anyone would hurt my son? This time yesterday he was alive and now we can never be the same again," his mother said. A senior garda source said they were still trying to establish a motive but they were aware of the allegations of racism. Specialist officers from the Garda Racial and Intercultural Office are assisting local detectives. Toyosi had been to a local swimming pool in Blanchardstown with friends on Friday evening. Afterwards, he was walking home with his friends in the Mount Eustace estate in Tyrellstown. He was in the company of two other male teenagers originally from Nigeria, two teenage boys originally from the Congo and two Irish teenage girls. Two Irish brothers, aged 23 and 38, were standing on the street outside their home in The Boulevard, Mount Eustace estate. They were living in Tyrellstown but were originally from Dublin's south inner city. One of the teenage girls asked one of the brothers for a cigarette. Both men then began to abuse Toyosi and his friends about the colour of their skin and called them "niggers" several times, according to a local source. A brief altercation ensued before Toyosi and his friends walked away. But the two brothers then went into their house and got a knife. Both men had been drinking, according to a garda source. They then got into their car and drove after the teenagers. When the men approached the teenagers again, Toyosi, who was known as 'Toy', told his friends not to get involved in a confrontation and to keep walking. But the man armed with the knife stabbed the teenager through the heart. "It was a racist attack. He was a lovely, happy-go-lucky boy," said Marian Salami, who lives in the same housing estate and knew the teenager well. There is a sizable African community in the middle-class housing estate. "At first, I was worried it was my brother, he is a good friend of his. Football was his life and he was very popular. His friends are very angry. I have tried to calm them." Korede Salami, a good friend of Toyosi's who was not present when he was stabbed, said everyone was still in shock. "He always had a smile on his face. He always stuck up for people. I think he was trying to help his friend when he was stabbed," he said. " http://www.tribune.ie/article/2010/apr/04/murdered-just-for-being-black/ |

I'm so delighted to hear that Nigerian passport holders can now travel to Mexico without visa, such positive development is something i wouldn't expect from Nigeria at this stage. Congrats to Nigerian travellers |
landis:I honestly agree with you, Israel does not represent a holy land, and (in the Bible,) there's no such recommendation to visit the country, besides, it might interest the poster to know that the vast majority of Israelis do not believe in Jesus neither do they even recognise him as the Messiah. But this said, i do love Israel, the people and their ways. |
Justwise and Kadman, i acknowledge that both of you are reasonable contributors, and your opinions are respect even if they varies. Cheers |

tunnytox:My friend, you might not qualify for the Visa Waiver Program even if you turned a British and hold the British passport, the VWP is intended for original citizens of the countries involved and not for naturalised citizens who might not have comprehensive reasons to visit the US. Bear in mind that when you become a british citizen by naturalization, your passport will definitely indicate that you're a British Subject or that you were born outside the UK: A passport indicating that the bearer is a British Subject, British Dependent Territories Citizen, British Overseas Citizen, British National (Overseas) Citizen, or British Protected Person does not qualify for travel without a visa. A passport which states holder has Right of Abode or indefinite leave to remain in the United Kingdom does not qualify for visa free travel to the United States |
dancewith:Your story is not the same thing as the story of Swatch72 (the original poster). The guy in your story doesn't seem to have had his fingers scanned in 2005, and he must have used a different data information in his other passport; that was very possible before this finger scanning era. But Swatch72 is using same names but different date of birth, so that makes him open for detection and the implications. |
dinggle:You're entirely correct with this post. I know that he doesn't stand a chance if he applied for the U.S. visa again, not even after 50 years as long as there's this record of deception against him, therefore i've suggested that he meets the manager and see how he can redeem himself by coming clean. If he goes to apply for the U.S. visa, he will be caught and this would cost him his UK visa and the 10 years ban will be applied. But however, theses might might interest him: . . .Mr. Kaestner highlighted the strict procedures the U.S. Mission follows to catch and prosecute people seeking to obtain U.S. visas with false or fraudulent information, emphasizing that not only could the use of fake documents make a person permanently ineligible to enter the United States, it could also lead to criminal prosecution in India. . .http://newdelhi.usembassy.gov/pr051607.html INA section 212(a)(6)(c)(i) essentially covers fraud related to efforts to obtain any immigration benefit. The result of a fraud finding is that the individual is "inadmissible" (not allowed to enter the U.S. or adjust status to permanent residence). Specifically, the section states the consequence of fraud or misrepresentation as follows: “Any alien who, by fraud or willfully misrepresenting a material fact, seeks to procure (or has sought to procure or has procured) a visa, other documentation, or admission into the United States or other benefit provided under this Act is inadmissible.”http://www.murthy.com/news/n_misrep.html |
segzeybaba:It's not necessary to make suggestions, this is utterly Out of Point. Please, no offence |
oyewolejos:99.9% true oyewolejos:I disagree with this claim, if only you know how their computers keep records, you would know that the moment they type in the spelling of his first name, all other people whose first names have same initials will appear, and the more letters they type, the more the search narrows until it gets to individual(s) bearing same first and last names. So, they will definitely find out when their computer produces a name that matches his, and then, they will compare the date of birth. |
swatch72:Logically, apology seems good, and people who were caught in visa deception often render apologies, but in reality, such apologies are frowned upon or ignored: apology can not overrule a decision nor does it make a visa officer to temper with fundamental rules and protocols. I will advice you from experience and not from imagination or expectation; and if you're willing to accept it, then: Contact the embassy and request for an appointment to see the manager of the visa section, and that you have personal matter to report (most likely, they will ask you to say it straight away on phone, but tell them you don't feel comfortable talking about it on phone) in that case, the manager might be glad to invite you in. Then, visit the embassy without applying for a visa. Once with the manager, then explain your situation and how you fell a victim of unscrupulous touts operating as travel agents. If you know that the meeting has redeemed your reputation, then, you may later apply for the U.S visa. But if you feel that nothing will change, then you have to consider the security of your UK visa. Bear in mind that the U.S embassy believes that the previous (fake) data are your genuine ones, and that means, this current one will be considered fake. So, i do not recommend you to go and apply for U.S visa now, at this time because, the U.S embassy will observe your UK visas and they will most likely correspond with their UK counterpart to report your previous data, and that you probably obtained the UK visa by means of deception, and this will result in the cancellation of your UK visa with possible 10 years ban from the UK. |
chy4luv:Chocolate bar is not a restricted or controlled substance; therefore, yes, you can travel with it, but bear in mind that even though it's not listed among the restricted or controlled substances, the cumstom officers have the rights to use their own initiative to allow or disallow anything they feel comfortable or uncomfortable with. So, (in the event of travelling to Europe) it is reasonable that the chocolate shouldn't be too big a bar or too many a quantity to raise questions |
Maverick05:No one can really ascertain whether you stand a chance or not, but your visa application can be assessed based on some deciding factors, some of which will reflect on the questions below. *What class of hotel did you book a reservation with, how many days did you book for and how many days did you pay for? *What is the calibre of the person that is inviting you into the country, what is his legal status, has the individual ever sought asylum, has s/he ever been involved in a crime, what does s/he work as, what is your relationship with him/her, how much do you know about his/her current situation? *How much (approximately) do you earn as salaries or wages? *How long is your "service type contract" valid for? *Are you sponsoring yourself with your savings? *What is your age range? *And finally, what would you be returning to Nigeria for? |
Tamita: suxes2005:A citizen of any nation is eligible for asylum provided s/he has compelling reasons for it and can prove same beyond reasonable disbelief. It might interest you to know that there are lots of American citizens who sought asylum in Canada and Mexico, and also in European countries; They are mainly service men and women in the U.S military who avoided going to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan: these class of people are automatically qualified for the refugee status under the UN Geneva convention treaty. But hardly would any country grant the refugee status to a fugitive from a developed and democratic country. Now, talking about asylum seeking on the ground of religion violence (such as the situation in Nigeria), i regret to tell you that it's not enough ground for asylum. It is one thing when the government of a country persecutes people on the ground of religion, and another thing when some religion hooligans turn violent against people of other faith. So, if you're fleeing from a persecuting government and you managed to seek asylum in a democratic country, you stand a good ground to be accepted provided you prove your case and you're not posing any threat. But if you're claiming asylum for reason of hooligans killing gentlemen in Jos, then, be prepared to answer why you didn't relocate to Benin City. |

Well, you're right, at least, he made attempts to scam those who are foolish enough to fall for his senseless trap. busybody20:He should be grateful to you for your kindness, you're so kind to have called him just a liar Tamita:Good to know there's someone out there who enjoys reading my posts. Thanks for the commendation. |
adefemi1:You're just an uninformed thief. It's amazing that in your 11 out of 15 posts, you claim to be a big time estate agent with many houses to sell, and you gave different fake names while soliciting for customers. Now you claim to have won a lottery visa howbeit without money to process your travel? Fool yourself; a visa can't be won through lottery, you can only win an opportunity for the visa, and then you have to meet the requirement in order to qualify for the visa. How could you foolishly claim you won a visa? Besides, if (as you claimed) you won the visa, didn't you fill a form to get the visa? So, what was your marital status? Now, if you claimed to be single in the form or during interview, then, how could the embassy have issued you a visa as if you're a married man thus giving you the chance to "collaborate" with a woman by claiming her to be your wife? Finally, you haven't yet succeeded in sorting your own case, you're already conspiring a crime. All these evidence against you with your claims and your plan are clear indications that you're nothing but a liar and an uninformed thief with your posts below bearing witness of your nonentity. adefemi1: adefemi1: adefemi1: adefemi1: adefemi1: |
easylogic:I disagree with some of your claims, especially about the countries that are considered for asylum. Now, i'm not arguing from opinions, but rather from personal knowledge gained from personal involvements and experience. Though, it's under the UN resolution to accept and protect citizens from war torn countries, but that is not the same thing as granting them the Refugee status; the section of this resolution article has a B part which states that those fleeing for their lives should seek asylum in the nearest relatively safe country. But definitely, that is not a country in the Schengen zone. There's a big difference between seeking asylum and being granted the Refugee status. I was in Greece during the 9/11 terrorist attacks, before then, people from Afghanistan and other muslim countries used to find it easy to seek asylum in the Schengen countries (even though most of their applications were turned down). But after the 9/11 attacks, most countries (especially Greece and France) do not even accept their applications how much more to grant them the Refugee status, they fear that these Afghans and Iraqis would propagate their deadly cultures and endanger the lives of European citizens. |

Teminio:If you visited the UAE with your family for the purpose of pleasure, then, i think you're not the kind that the UK visa officers do not want in their country. But to earn all credibility, you need to be in reputable employment or maintain valid source of fair income: and considering that you're travelling with your family, you need to be able to convince the officer that you have something (in Nigeria) to return to and ultimately, you need to have satisfactory evidence of finance to maintain all four of you: know that your application is likely to be refused if the embassy calculates that the amount of money that would cover the entire cost of the trip exceeds 60% of your total savings. Plan it well, and drop a line if you need further assistance |
Teminio:Every visa application starts with paper-works, and then, contact with the embassy to make appointment for submission and scanning, and the rest goes according to the embassy's procedures. You may start the visa process any time that you deem ready for it, but you must give enough time (between your application day and the date you intend to travel) to enable the embassy process your application. Teminio:Number does not matter, but reputation and credibility together with eminence and accountability would be taken into consideration to determine your calibre. Teminio:Did you visit the UAE with your family or alone? It would be more appropriate had you visited with your family, but still this might not increase your chance especially if you went there alone; rather, it would raise more questions because, you would have to explain what you went to do in the UAE especially now-a-days that the West declares red-alert at anything coming from the Muslim world Teminio:Present as many documents as you can lay your hands on, (it's better to have more than enough than to have less) because, the documents will surely be returned to you. Warning: Do not ever submit any forged paper, if you do, they will definitely detect it and have you banned from UK visa of any category for 10 years Teminio:Are you sure that you're not talking about migrating rather than a holiday trip? If you're talking about holiday trip then, why are you asking this question? Anyway, i'm giving my advice on the understanding that you're talking of a holiday trip, so i'll say: This is up to you, you have to make up your mind now on where you wish to spend your holiday to enable you make better preparation for a possible interview with a visa officer. You would be asked to tell the areas you're mostly interested in, the things you hope to see in the areas, what you wish to do there and where you'd be staying etc. So, make up your mind for whichever country now Teminio:Ask more questions and you'd get more info |

cheaphost:First of all, i want you to know the meaning of the political word STATE and you would see that it means country. Yet, it's rightly used in Nigeria because, there we have many Ethnic nations or states joining together as the Niger-area and subsequently Nigeria: Now think about the single States of Israel The USA with its size about the same as the whole of Europe is not really an ethnic nation hence it's rightly named as the United States (Country) of America; so, it is not a valid reasoning to compare England to the USA, it's like comparing Washington to the whole of Europe. And yet, England has a lot of great and developed cities for its size |
shebambam:At 21 weeks, you shouldn't be experiencing any problem with any airline, but you might face some problems with the US immigration: The only way you can get into the US is if the pregnancy is not obvious due to your body type or if you can hide it because, it's highly likely that they will turn you back once they know that you're carrying a pregnancy that has exceeded its middle stage; the logical reason is, you weren't given a (medical) visa (for your current circumstance) to give birth in the States, but rather, you were issued a visa for a single individual, and now, you're entering the country as two people. So, take a good look at yourself in a full mirror (dressing in the clothing that you would be wearing on your trip) and see if it's obvious that you're pregnant. And if it seems so, then, try to get a special fashion that would suitably hide the pregnancy without giving you an odd or suspicious appearance. By careful measures, you should be able to get in without any incident afterall, there are some people with protrude bellies even though they're not pregnant, and there are others that look normal even when they're in mid pregnancy. Cheers! |
