pikinchild:Are you sure that you know the truth about your "cousin's" situation? I'm asking because, i know that it is unlikely for someone to get deported for reason of the expiration of his or her residence permit because, standard residence permit are renewable even after their validity dates. Why do i have the feeling that your "cousin" was probably doing time in jail while her residence permit ran out or, she was a transnational fugitive? I'm sorry, i can't find any other reason to explain how she got herself into this mess. Well, given the benefit of doubt, there's no way she can go about it irrespective of the status of her child: When a Schengen state deports a person, s/he is automatically banned from returning to Europe for some period ranging from 5 years to life. Immigration officers have the prerogative to use their own initiatives in deciding the amount of years that a deportee should be banned according to their assessment of the gravity of the offence committed. There are instances whereby deportees are being uncooperative and resisting authority, in such case, the subjects are forced into a plane and might not be entitled to any rights nor mercy then-after; but in a normal situation of a person facing deportation, a letter is usually served to this effect (usually within 24 hours of the departure time). The letter is often a comprehensive declaration stating the reason(s) s/he is to be deported, the consequences of deportation and the rights reserved by the deportee: the deportee then indicates that s/he understands the contents by signing the letter. So, dear Pikinchild, it's either your "cousin" was forcefully deported (which leaves her to no rights whatsoever) or She was formally deported (which places her under the terms and conditions of her deportation letter which she must have signed). So, why are you asking how she can go about it? The best person to comment on this is your cousin, the deported mother of the "French citizen", she should know the circumstances surrounding her deportation. |
nkkky:Who is sending you an invitation letter to be a tourist? Are you sure you're a genuine applicant? |

tinkinfela:Actually, i think Coolier did a good job, she's suggested well. But i can understand why it might not be easy to go with her advice: You're 21, and perhaps you're a student so, your social and/or financial stance is probably a hindrance. Now, in the light of the above, i don't think that there is anything you can do about it except the body organising the football "trial" does the invitation and sponsorship. |
I lived in Paris for 5 years, had a schengen visa which basically gave me access to the entire europe except the U.K. . .
So, with a Schengen visa, you were eligible to live in France for 5 whole years?
If Sweden deny you Visa then which country you fit go?? Na ehn be say Togo sef no go gree you enta.
Honestly, i think this post of yours suggests that you are uninformed about Schengen states, therefore, i don't find your claims credible. |
tinkinfela:Coolie is smart to have pointed out your contradictions. Spouse simply means, a person's partner in marriage. So, what are you now trying to explain with these conflicting facts? Or, are you in a civil partnership with a man, are you Gay? Actually, it doesn't bother me whether you are or you are not, i'm only looking at the discrepancies on your given marital status. |
E concern you. People dey complain about Visa to better country like America and England and France and Italy and Spain and Scotland and Canada and Germany and Netherland (which I have lived in some and toured all by the way), you are here running your mouth off.
Oh, you've lived in these countries and have toured all of them? Well, i wonder why your knowledge about the mentioned countries suggests otherwise. I should have known that there is a special visa for Scotland
All I was driving at was Visa to countries like Sweden are not normally as difficult as those to G-8 Countries like those I stated above.
I didn't realise that Scotland and it likes are members of the G-8; Also, little did i know that each and every one of these mentioned countries is way better than Sweden
And advising him to stop applying is also wrong Mr. Smarty pants Visa agent. He should rather recheck his documents and re apply. You never know when you might just get lucky.
That's interesting. So, a person that was refused a visa on the ground of false documentation can indeed recheck and reapply for same visa even if he's dealing with the British or American embassy. keloserial:"Ultimately commit it to God's hands"? Now, it has become a religion matter. The Bible book of Romans 16:19 says: "Be excellent at what is good and be innocent of wrong things, " Hasn't this Poster acted contrary to the guidance of the God whose hands he is committing his visa application in, or would you say that he is innocent? Man, why are you guys encouraging someone with fake hopes especially about something that you know nothing about? This guy will apply again according to your naive advice and he would be refused again, he will loss his money and waste precious time if he listens to you. You don't have to always encourage people, sometimes, we have to discourage them if that means saving them troubles |

Na ehn be say Togo sef no go gree you enta.
What do you mean? You absolutely don't have the least idea about Sweden nor Europe, and that makes me wonder why you decided to talk about something you know nothing about |
deoyel25:There's absolutely no need to be rude with insults, and it doesn't look good that you've transferred the aggression to Siena whose classic English you obviously misunderstood. He never said that your friend was refused visa for reason of false documents, he simply stated that (unlike J-Puppy, the Original Poster) he doubts (does not believe) that it was due to false documents. that your friend was refused visa in those two occasions. Apology accepted. |
deoyel25:Perhaps you can exercise some generosity by lending me a half of your over-sized brain so i may be endowed with a half of your overwhelming wisdom, please? |
deoyel25:This is the worst advice of the thread, and as brutal as it may seem, these guys with harsh comments gave more meaningful advice than this one with gentle and misleading words.
Hi everyone please who knows about Sweden visa cos i was denied once due to the fact that they said my statement of account prove false and i was denied visa, and on the embassy site they said if you have be denied before you might be denied again so am asking is that through so i wont be wasting money. Please help me peeps can i reapply or i should just let go?
My friend, if it's not yet too late, DO NOT bother to apply for the visa as i judged that you would still be refused, and refused, and refused again. Also, do not borrow money into your account, because it would be seen as money lodgement and the visa will be refused yet again. Finally, do not go for a new passport as that will show some degree of insincerity: The harsh fact is, you are simply not qualified for the visa sought, so, give it up until you're deemed eligible for it. |
Oshincit:That's correct. It is the general rules that a visa applicant can only apply from a country of which s/he has the rights to reside in, and such rights do not include the privilege of visa. So, to make it clear, you can only apply for the visa from Nigeria as you do not hold an Indian Passport nor its Residence Permit: Your application form will not even be accepted on submission. |
Oshincit:Do you hold an Indian passport or its Residence Permit? |

I am back from India finally, so I am in a better position to explain how it was leaving in other country. Cultures/restriction and working problem and all that I need a little list of good country where one can reside permanently, allowing resident/working or permanent stay, country without restriction easy going and one can work and get paid manageably. Not into drugs or get rich over night as there are a lot of problem attach with it, I am only seeking advice from people with experience leaving in the country at present or in the past. If you have no experience please do not make a reply.
Why not consider Ghana, Togo, Benin Rep., Ivory coast etc? |
zizzo:What airport will you be arriving at? I've lived in Turkey and i know very well about the country and the lifestyles of Nigerians therefore, i believe i'm in a good position to let you know that 9 in 10 Nigerians in Turkey are having it tough there. realise and acknowledge the fact that these stranded and frustrated guys have one ultimate desire in their minds, and that is; how to join a group of clandestine in extremely risk migration match (known as Iki-iki) to western countries as Turkey is often not their original target country neither is it their desired destination, hence they refer to it as a "transit point" or a "gate-way" to Europe. So now, if it's your desire to get into Europe via Turkey, then bear in mind that you'd be doing so at the risk of your life. I must let you know that many people don't succeed and no one hear about them because they didn't make it alive: there are many, many risky factors that i'm too bored to narrate here. These said, if however you are determined and you can't find anyone reliable for accommodation before your due date, don't worry much, you can check-in a hostel, they are very cheap in Turkey, costing about 5 Euros per day. This could be cheaper than staying with these stranded and frustrated Nigerian guys who would take advantage of your circumstances to rip you off since this is one of their their methods of raising the funds for their Iki-iki trip to Europe. Most Nigerians and Tanzanians are in one way or the other involved in hard drugs: In Turkey, you wouldn't like to visit the homes of Nigerian guys that you don't know too well for fear of Turkish Jandama bursting in and arresting you together with them in a drug packaging house, you don't want to do some good years in a Turkish jail, do you? There are numerous reports of innocent Nigerian JJCs doing time in jail for being at the wrong places at the wrong time. |

pikinchild:Are you saying that the child is a French citizen due to the fact that he was born in France or because he has a French Passport? If he is a French Passport holder, then, he doesn't need a visa to travel to France and that may enhance the visa chance of his mother. But nevertheless, she needs to prove herself worthy of the visa especially in financial aspect. Documents to present must include a copy of the child's passport and/or Birth Certificate, Her Marriage Certificate, a letter from her husband/the child's father stating his approval of the child to travel with her, Evidence of occupation, 3 months bank statement (avoid money lodgement), accommodation details in France, Home ties or obligation that would convince the immigration officers of her return to Nigeria. pikinchild:What class/category of visa is she applying for, i mean, for what purpose is she going to France? |
mezdim:My dear, do not bin your money; do not bother to apply for the UK visa because, you will never be successful as you have been banned by the home office from entering the UK for 10 years only. |

THIS MIGHT NOT BE THE APPROPRIATE THREAD FOR THIS SUBJECT, BUT I WANT IT TO GET THE DESIRED ATTENTION. May i suggest that you modify the comment column to allow users the ability to vote for best comments? I think it makes sense if users are able to vote for comments that seem appropriate to any given thread. Explanation of this is: let there be two buttons (a GREEN one and a RED one) in every posted comment, the Green should have the + sign while the Red, - representing positive and negative voting respectively. Let the system automatically place two or three best comments with highest voting on the top of every thread (below the original posts). This will help viewers to find best contributing response to any given subject instead of them going through loads of craps that might not even be the answer to their queries. And also, the development will encourage individuals to make meaningful and appropriate comments on threads. Just a suggestion, though. |
