olat:Thanks for the compliments, Olat. As for your query, i regret to say that i'm not the appropriate person to give advice on business or investments in these mentioned places. Perhaps you can brows google for ideas. |
The time doesn't seem to me too late, you can still make it if your application condition is not complicated: though it's advisable to give enough time just in case of complications. As for the "agent", i don't know any one who enjoys preferential favour from the embassy or one who has special power to influence a visa decision: As someone who's going to further his education abroad, i expect you're educated enough to handle such thing yourself, why would you even begin to think about "agent", by the way, who are the agents? |
Any type of visa is possible provided you have credible reason for it. I advice you to contact the Nigerian embassy in your area, they're in better position to help, and they will be glad to answer your queries. |
oje:It's not necessary that the information on your old passport would be transfered to the new one: but every embassy (on realising that you once possess a previous passport) would want to see the old (previous) one or, at least a copy of it. Therefore, the value of the old passport does influence the new one. So, you need to present both the new and the previous passport in subsequent visa applications. |
Kobojunkie:Unlike in Nigeria where hard work doesn't guarantee freedom from poverty, a poor man in the west is responsible for his own poverty; in other word, NO normal person in the west can be so poor that he can't afford essential things in life. The only wayward people i've seen so far are either junkies or drunkards. NO RESPONSIBLE PERSON IN THE WEST CAN BE SO POOR THAT HE CAN'T LIVE UP TO THE STANDARD OF AN AVERAGE MAN IN NIGERIA |
macro:Ireland in December 2004, was the last country in the EU to stop the automatic citizenship by birth right. Nowadays, a child born in Ireland (like in other EU states) takes after the parent/s immigration status; that is, LIKE-PARENTS-LIKE CHILD. Explanation of this is: if a child is born of illegal residence parents, he too would be illegal and like the parents, he's not immune to deportation. In some countries however, the children becomes eligible for citizenship at certain ages, but believe me, authorities usually get rid of such families diplomatically by deportation before the children attain the due ages: and even if they are not deported, the frustration of not being eligible to work or the uncertain future in a self exile is sufficient for a family to say enough-is-enough and return home. |
Thus satisfied about Jayon genuineness. . . , he's off the black list. |
romeo: romeo: romeo:Mr Romeo, Giving informations or impressions that lack justification because you enjoy being recognised and praised for reason of your location is simply unfair and unsuitable: such behaviour is absolutely uncalled-for. Are you trying to say that the Nigerians in Italy and in Spain (that you supposedly reside) are living any better than those in Greece? NO way. In fact, many Nigerians in these two countries moved over to Greece after the Italian and Spanish authorities began to send them home in mass deportation: perhaps you managed to escape the raids. Come to think about these: *How many Nigerians in Italy or Spain entered the countries in genuine ways (if not by using "resemblance" passports or crossing the Mediterranean sea from Morocco)? *How many Nigerians in Italy or Spain are doing noble jobs like those in the UK or Ireland? *How many Nigerians in Italy and Spain properly deserve resident permits (if not for the past mercies of the authorities to do mass distribution of residence permits for those frustrated illegal immigrants)? *How many Nigerian women that were/are not involved in road-side prostitution or human trafficking in Italy and Spain? *How many Nigerian men that were/are not involved in door to door hawking toilet papares and under-wears and occasionally begging for money in Italy and Spain? *How many Nigerian men that were/are not kept at home by Nigerian "sugar mummies" madams who would fend for their needs as long as they remain their gigolos "poure boys"? I know of someone who use to go on door to door hawking, sometimes, he'd ring the bell at the main doors and instead of the doors being opened or at least answered, he'd see someone open an upstair window or a balcony and throw down some coins to him saying "Thank you, but we don't want to buy anything". Sometimes, there are notes at the door stating things like "NO HAWKERS PLEASE" OR "HAWKERS BEWARE OF DOGS". So, how is it that you now try to claim that the Nigerians in Greece, Italy or your Spain are "saints"? Man, forget about your location and stop deceiving yourself, just come out with the truth: even if you're one of these funny guys in Spain. |

K2:Thank you, K2, i get more strength with guys like you. and as for those busy-body Critics, let them count the countries one by one again: the figure is even more than the 12 that they worry about. To God be the glory: Malta, the Czech Rep, Russia, Germany, Greece, Turkey, Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Croatia, Canada, Benin Rep. Nigeria, France, Ireland, England, Italy and Spain And whatever took me to these countries is none of their business, i have the capability of conscious choice and decision and intention to go wherever i please. I'd answer that question if they asked in a decent manner. |

minsk:Ha, Minsk! Everything i wrote is original, from my personal experience, i was in these countries myself, i spent time integrating with the locals as well as with the Nigerian comunities, and i confirm that everything i wrote is a first hand information from my personal observations. ***I understand that you added someone's quote in your post, could you please edit the quote in your post to distinguish it so that people won't think you wrote it yourself, at least, a quotation mark can do it. |
In a sprawling street of Athens, the popular area where Nigerians are mainly concentrated in the haphazardly. . . area of the city, near Omonia square. Greece is a very, very beautiful country, but you rarely see Nigerians living up to expectations. . . (Please check previous page for others photos)

coolotunba:* It's more or less frequently raining in Ireland: temperate maritime; modified by North Atlantic Current; mild winters, cool summers; consistently humid; overcast about half the time. Ireland and the UK have their hands full and tight with immigrants; both documented and undocumented, students and families, asylum seekers and naturalised dwellers. Though there are opportunities in these two countries, and while Ireland may be appealing because of it's rich and generous social welfare programmes, if you're a student, you're only like any other African or Asia students once in Ireland because, the education system (for those who are already in the state) is come-one-come-all: so, doing your education here does not guarantee you anything enviable afterall, asylum seekers and undocumented immigrants from African and Asia do attend same schools. But once you're permitted to work in Ireland, believe me, they pay more than most big name countries in the world, not even the USA nor the UK can compete with Ireland in minimum wages. Irish people are extremely lazy, they enjoy the extravagant "social welfare" system here which makes them unwilling to work: they go to the post office every friday to collect free Social, Unemployment, Disability, Sick, or House Allowance "benefit" which is usally 246 Euro per week: There are also child benefits for every single child born in Ireland irrespective of the parent/s status; too many Nigerian women are single parents in Ireland. There use to be immigration programmes schemes organised by the Irish government in poor Asian countries like Bangladesh China and the Philippines, this was designed to import working immigrants to the benefit of the Irish economy which has boosted remarkably in recent years, in fact, it's rated the 2nd best in the word after Luxembourg. This programme came to a halt when it became dawn that the EU would expand by 10 additional countries mainly from East Europe with feeble economies, and their citizens would flock into Ireland sooner or later. Currently, there are about six hundred thousand Polish nationals in Ireland alone which means, one in four people you see in Ireland is Polish; thus making things complicated for the government to consider giving documents to Asylum seekers: the Irish authority believe that they have more than enough immigrants. In the past, there used to be an immigration law that says whoever is born in Ireland (irrespective of the parents immigration status) is automatically an Irish citizen, and their mothers are given residence status of PIBC (Parents of Irish Born Citizen) residence status known as the Stamp4 recidence card. until December 2004 after Poland and other poor countries joined the European Union. There is seldom border control between the UK and the Republic of Ireland, this made it easy for undocumented pregnant women in the UK to enter the country and give birth to Irish Citizens. Many people, both single and married African women forced themselves pregnant without husbands or regular boyfriends. . . Things became funny when the single mothers would receive payments of up to 5000 Euro from men who would claim to be the arriving fathers of the IBCs. The Irish authority have been fooled in thousands of such frauds, until they introduced the DNA test into immigration which eventually led to the arrest and fleeing of many men who have already benefited from the IBC fraud. Many Nigerian women that got pregnant and came to Ireland to give brith are now facing frustration in Ireland with their kid/s because the IBC law was amended before they could give birth. They now live in asylum seekers hostels nationwide with uncertain futures. Some have been deported and many more have been served deportation letters |
Poster! poster!! to be honest, I think you're realy confused yourself! if I may ask, did you visit all these countries with visa? you seem to act like the good guy here while others there don't know what they're doing. You said some or even most of them are suffering! I wonder what was chasing you around those nonsence places you called country in Europe! they could be anywhere in Africa! but just simply fall under Europe on the map! you know what? you never see something your waka just dey start but no be your fault na those wey just wan fly regardless of where the plane land! and guess what? all that your info might be important or usefull to those that don't know where they're coming from not to talk of where they're going! You go all these places finish you still no know say Toronto dey Ontario! you sure say no be naija or some african desert you dey waka about call am europe?
The article i wrote is from my own experiences, i could have written more, but i didn't want to bore you, so i had to edit it to this size. The subject does not in any way refer to any one personally, neither does it condemn any Nigerian ethnic group, it is not a critic but an information, so, i don't see why any normal person would take it personal and insult me for narrating my observations. I'm not that uninformed so as not to know about Ontario, perhaps you don't understand my English, i said: "He's in Ontario region, he used to be in Toronto city"" Or is every body in Lagos state living in Ikeja? Whatever took me to these countries is none of your business, i have the capability of conscious choice and decision and intention to go wherever i please. I'd answer that question if you asked in a decent manner. www.babefishing.com, the ideal Nigerian free dating site. Click now: www.babefishing.com |
romeo:What is stupid and Ignorant in my article, what false statement have i made about the Nigerians in Greece, Italy and Spain? Point it out, or are you one of these guys. . .? If so, then my appology. . . And do you understand my writing? I said: "In the past, there use to be only Yorubas and a hand-full of other Nigerians students in Greece, but things became funny when the "Onitsha" guys flocked in and began to sell fake Roloi (wristwatches) and then-after, pirated CDs and Indecency DVDs. . ." nwando:*Funny you, are you suggesting that i'm a Yoruba man? If so, i'll leave that to your own puzzle: for your infomation, I'm a circular person and i do not mind saying the truth no matter what people that are involved. . . I did not specify that the embarrassing Nigerians are those from Onitsha, in fact, it wasn't me who nicknamed them "see Onitsha see Europe". This is the slogan the Ndi-Igbo use against those who they consider to be less educated or over zealous in "hustle". www.babefishing.com, the ideal Nigerian free dating site. One who has a "HUGE" account would not need a UK working holiday visa; therefore, it's not about huge statement of account, it's got to do with credentials, qualifications and skills. But, you don't stand a good chance for a working holiday visa from Nigeria. |

Kobojunkie:So poor that they can't afford food to eat? I've not seen such in the west. |
I'm not in a competition with anyone, i simply wrote my article according to my own experience and observation. Ezinwannem:@Ezinwannem. Taking the Urban train as you leave Berlin Schoenefeld airport and passing through those impressive office facilities, then looking at your right as you see the huge Mercedes Benz building, even before getting to the city centre, one can tell that Germany indeed merit the tittle "Europe biggest economy"; to my observation, there's no country in Europe that's more develop than Germany where everything looks new and clean, where you hardly see a car that is up to 5 years old. Mind you, it's capability of accommodating and maintain a population of over 83 million people above poverty level explains that it's indeed a great nation. Canada, with it's size bigger than the USA and a population of less than 32 million is highly underpopulated and in need of immigrants, i visited my brother who lives in Ontario, his wife is an accountant masters degree holder from Nigeria, but she has recently began to attend a school of nursing because of the lucrative medical industry in Canada. Illegal residents are not having hard times there. PapaBrowne:@Papabrowne, i have been quite regular in these country until July this year, so i believe i'm more current. . . AND THE INFORMATION THAT I GIVE ABOUT THESE COUNTRIES ARE VALID. if you doubt me, ask other people. PapaBrowne:Friend, i do not argue about the beauties of these countries, they're quite beautiful, but who in Nigeria is interested in the beauty of Europe rather than the hope and promises of future which these countries obviously do not offer immigrants? But Papabrowne, don't you see that you're making the same point with me, or didn't you read the full article before making your comments? Here's my quote about my assessment of the Czech republic bellow: Vicjustice:I'M ONLY TRYING TO LET PEOPLE KNOW WHAT TO EXPECT BEFORE THEY GO TO THESE COUNTRIES IT'S A SELFLESS SERVICE. SO, EXCEPT YOU HAVE PERSONAL GRIEVANCE AGAINST ME, I DON'T SEE ANY REASON WHY YOU OR ANYONE ELSE WOULD ARGUE THIS USEFUL FACTS BASED ON MY TRUE LIFE EXPERIENCE.
