miss Z: justwise/ds guy I intend to apply for US visa as regards a wedding with invitation , I have a job in one of the blue chip company, but my challenge are 1. I've not travelled out before. 2. I've had a lot of activity on my salary account. Please advise if this will count against me .......add any advise you think I go need

There is always a first time for everything including travel: being a first time traveller does not harm the chances of those who fulfil the requirements.

what do you need the photocopy for?
It's ok to add your school I'd card, but you can do well without it since the card is not a document that is really recognised.

My friend, even if you're a citizen of heaven, you still would need to present a reasonable bank statement as long as you're applying for a special category visa, it is a different thing if you're travelling as a visitor or as a tourist, you wouldn't need a visa in this regard: yet, immigration officers reserve the rights to deny you entry clearance if they know that you're a financially broke traveller.

Technocracy: pls i need ur honest advice,i have an american gf we met online after sometime we decided to get married as im talking to u now in few days time we are meeting in barbados for a 2wks vacation after which when i come back she will invite me over for us to get married honestly i just grad and dont have a job,do i really have the chances of been granted a visa without a bank statement cause i intend making it clear to the vo that i dont intend return anytime soon,or is it better to apply thru barbados because i can stay for up to 3months to pursue my visa process,i believe their policies i mean the us embassy wont be as strict as compared to nigerias

i av an urgent issue here please pertaining to a friend

he was refused 6month visist visa. bellow are d details

1. income: there is a field in d form dat ask for total income from all source of income, the person put 180k,
Note
A. He has 3 source of income and it was expanciated in other fields in d form dat he get 120k consultancy allowance from company b, and 80k at average from personal business, and he ommited 31k he get from company A where he works full time.

The eco refused him by mistakenly taken the 180 total income as what he get from from company A, and also mension other incomes 120k and 80k average from personal business.

That the 180k is not commesurate wt d account statement... But the applicant use 180 as total income

2. That he didnt show reason why he choses uk for holiday, and he is not specific about where he wanted to visit and the sight he intend to see (sight seeing hope u understand)

From my own side, i guess he has fault by stating 120k and 80k which is more than the total he has filled (180k) and also d eco chose the 180k total income as income from company A.

Please can the experts in house shed some light to dis issue because it is beyond my own knowledge.

How can he correct all d error he has made.

He wanted to fill it this way income from
Company A : 31000
Company B: 120,000 consultancy fee
Personal business : 80,000 average income

Please urgent attention will be highly appreciated

There is a high possibility that he will be banned for undisclosing this information except he can provide credible evidence of his lack of knowledge about the daughter.

The 2 million Naira in his personal account will make a better proof of fund if the sources of income are verifiable

No, you need a personal bank statement with reasonable amount, and it must show sources of income

As Vicjustice advised, my friend's cannot use his dad's company as sponsor because his dad's business is not registered and have never pay tax on it.

What do you think about this:

His course in Dublin is 1 year course Msc in International Business
He has paid the required Tuition €8,300... Paid in full
He has paid deposit of accommodation and accommodation letter has been received
He has done his medical insurance
He has even done police criminal clearance

But the problem now is the Sponsor issue...
Since Vicjustice said he can't use his dad's company as sponsor since the company is not registered because the Irish Embassy will conclude that his dad is tax cheat and it's a criminal offence.

Now, the issue is: His dad business income go straight to my friend's personal account and not his dad's account. So at present he has 2 Million Naira in his own personal account.

His dad has like 150k in his own personal account.
His brother has decided to give him his company's account and his company's registration certs etc., but the balance on his brother's company account is 400k.

His brother is also ready to give him his personal account too but the balance of the personal account is just 100k.

So this means he has 4 different account.

My question is: can he use both his brother and his dad as sponsor? because it was his brother that even gave him the accommodation deposit.

Pls is he good to submit with the 4 different Bank statement?

Now, I don't see how it will be possible to get a visa with such multiple bank statements that obviously indicate that the applicant does not have access to the monies: the desperation alone is a deterrent from visa approval

If you're applying for (airport) transit visa due to the schedules of your flights, then you can present your passport bearing your destination visa, your onward tickets and the visa fee. But if you intend to gain admission into the country, then, you're requesting for sometime more than a transit visa, and for that, your ownward ticket can not qualify you for such visa: you'll have to meet the requirements for a tourist visa

What are the rules regarding the 28 days, is it about paying your tuition fees or about depositing the money into your account?
If the travel document that you're using is indeed yours, and has not expired, why would it matter how much hair you've grown or how much weight that you've gained?

aozy: @vicjustice-£4000 pounds or maybe £5000 pounds in my husband's acct by the time we apply and also £1800 pounds in my dom acct. Although from d vaf 10 form what we were asked to keep was £600 pounds for each applicant (x3 = 1800 pounds) for 90 days.

I made a mistake in d timing. He got the job in august and he started fully in september 2013 working.
He was on probation for 6mths which he did his review at abt march or april.
The skool was and is quite impressed with performance/job. He's through with the probation period.

After an employer has passed the initial months of probation with satisfying performances, s/he will then be given a full staff status. But s/he will not be covered by the labour law against abrupt termination of employment until after one full year with the company.
This means, while your husband had passed the probation period and is staying with the company, his employer still has the rights to terminate his employment at will, but once he has stayed with the company for over 12 months, he will then be immuned from abrupt or untimely termination of employment without financial compensation except on the ground of gross misconduct.
I understand how it feels to be separated from your husband for reason of immigration problem, but i like to recommend that you allow your husband to stay with his employment for at least 12 months for him to be established and gain labour rights assurance.
Note: it is possible to get the visa even in his given circumstances, in fact, the visa officer might not look into the issue of his new employment, but bear in mind that if the issue is raised, then there will be only one one result, Visa REFUSAL

It will be impossible to use such unregistered and undocumented business as his father's means of income: in the eyes of Europeans, his father is a tax cheat and a corrupt business owner. In Ireland, this is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment or a fine or both.

I am trying to apply for student visitor visa on the new online UK visa application form, surprisingly, on the form where type of visa was asked; there were option for study and visit. I chose visit(hoping it is correct)

But when asked what kind of visit; there was no option for student! the options available were general, tourist, entertainer, sport, special, other( supposed this is for military personnel).

I am confuse. Can you help?

If I choose Study, the options available are tier 4 and non-tier 4( I feel this is not it)

If my understanding is right, you are a STUDENT and you want to VISIT the UK, therefore, you should take the option of VISIT and then tick TOURIST

Your chances would be better if you apply a bit later: he's just gotten his masters and has just been offered a job.... But you need to understand that he is under the probation period of the job, he needs to pass his company's probation period (which could be 3, 6, or 9 months) in order to sustain his employment, and he needs at least one year to be protected (by labour law) from employer's abrupt termination of employment. As the dependants of a man whose employment is probational, it would not seem reasonable for a visa officer to approve your applications.

NO, they don't have such trade policy of "buy one and get a second at half price"

YES, you need to understand that your husband's employment is too new for him to be inviting his entire family to stay with him, what if he is made redundant from work?

Though, there could be promotion going on every now and then, but you don't get any special offer as a family: bear in mind that only an infant of less than 2 years old is considered "lap passenger", but as your children are over 2 years old, each and everyone of you is required to have own seat, and to pay the full price for the ticket, howbeit, the kids ticket will be a bit cheaper because since they are not required to pay tax.
