miss Z: justwise/ds guy I intend to apply for US visa as regards a wedding with invitation , I have a job in one of the blue chip company, but my challenge are 1. I've not travelled out before. 2. I've had a lot of activity on my salary account. Please advise if this will count against me .......add any advise you think I go needThere is always a first time for everything including travel: being a first time traveller does not harm the chances of those who fulfil the requirements. Activities on an account is normally good, but what kind of activities do you mean? |
Technocracy: u seem to have an attitude problem we are in a free world if u will answer a person with a systematic insult leave it dont respond ok.Nonsense. If you really do believe that we're in a free world, why couldn't you tolerate my freedom to express my views? |
dalobaba: Hello @JUSTWISE i wil be submitin my six month visa app 2moro. Im i to make a photocopy of my bank statement too. My schul id card isnt ready, can i do witout it. Thankswhat do you need the photocopy for? It's ok to add your school I'd card, but you can do well without it since the card is not a document that is really recognised. |
Technocracy: Im having this confidence based on the findings i made from the us k-1 alien fiance visa requirements, maybe u should look at it.Is it not funny that despite your "confidence" you still came to seek advice? My friend, even if you're a citizen of heaven, you still would need to present a reasonable bank statement as long as you're applying for a special category visa, it is a different thing if you're travelling as a visitor or as a tourist, you wouldn't need a visa in this regard: yet, immigration officers reserve the rights to deny you entry clearance if they know that you're a financially broke traveller. |
Technocracy: pls i need ur honest advice,i have an american gf we met online after sometime we decided to get married as im talking to u now in few days time we are meeting in barbados for a 2wks vacation after which when i come back she will invite me over for us to get married honestly i just grad and dont have a job,do i really have the chances of been granted a visa without a bank statement cause i intend making it clear to the vo that i dont intend return anytime soon,or is it better to apply thru barbados because i can stay for up to 3months to pursue my visa process,i believe their policies i mean the us embassy wont be as strict as compared to nigeriasApplying tor a visa without finance? You'd need a kind of miracle that can turn a stone into a loaf of bread |
collab: vicjustice, please can u give an example of what you mean by credible evidence. justwise pls contribute as well. ThxDidn't you say that the person is a "friend", why are you the one worried about the development, or can't your "friend" write for himself? |
phemobay: its me myself, but my friend help in typing it because of my depresed mood dat time... kindly help me to look into it. please sir. God bless uWhat does it benefit to lie and then tell more lies in attempt to make previous lie look good? |
phemobay: good day to everybody... hope u are all good, u are blessed ijnThe person doesn't know how to write and had therefore sent you to narrate all these on his behalf? |
collab: Hello nice work everybody i really enjoy justwise and vicjustice contributions. please a friend has been frequent in europe but single with a daughter then but each time he fill application he dont normarlly include her name. Now married to another lady with kids and he want to include the daughter name in new application. please what reason can he give embassy for not including her name in previous application because the DOB will show her age and he dont want to have any issue with embassy.ThxThere is a high possibility that he will be banned for undisclosing this information except he can provide credible evidence of his lack of knowledge about the daughter. |
He has 2 million already in his own personal account, this is different from the 8300euro tuition fee he already paid in full. The bank statements from his brother and his dad are just proof of transportation and accommodation fund even though he has paid deposit of accommodation.
The visa officer will not accept that "the bank statements from his brother and his dad are just proof of transportation and accommodation", rather, it would be seen as a desperate attempt to make an invalid prove of funds. The 2 million Naira in his personal account will make a better proof of fund if the sources of income are verifiable |
usmsam: Hi everyone,No, you need a personal bank statement with reasonable amount, and it must show sources of income |
Vicjustice and Justwise, am back again on ur neck to sort my friend's issue out oo ... As Vicjustice advised, my friend's cannot use his dad's company as sponsor because his dad's business is not registered and have never pay tax on it. What do you think about this: His course in Dublin is 1 year course Msc in International Business He has paid the required Tuition €8,300... Paid in full He has paid deposit of accommodation and accommodation letter has been received He has done his medical insurance He has even done police criminal clearance But the problem now is the Sponsor issue... Since Vicjustice said he can't use his dad's company as sponsor since the company is not registered because the Irish Embassy will conclude that his dad is tax cheat and it's a criminal offence. Now, the issue is: His dad business income go straight to my friend's personal account and not his dad's account. So at present he has 2 Million Naira in his own personal account. His dad has like 150k in his own personal account. His brother has decided to give him his company's account and his company's registration certs etc., but the balance on his brother's company account is 400k. His brother is also ready to give him his personal account too but the balance of the personal account is just 100k. So this means he has 4 different account. My question is: can he use both his brother and his dad as sponsor? because it was his brother that even gave him the accommodation deposit. Pls is he good to submit with the 4 different Bank statement? Do you think the Irish Embassy won't be expecting something like 10 Million or 20 Million Naira in his dad or brother's account? despite he has paid his Tuition in full and not owing the school anything?
Irish student visa requirements are not same as the UK requirement, so the 28 days stuff does not apply. Now, I don't see how it will be possible to get a visa with such multiple bank statements that obviously indicate that the applicant does not have access to the monies: the desperation alone is a deterrent from visa approval |
Ecash Planet: @Vicjustice,If you're applying for (airport) transit visa due to the schedules of your flights, then you can present your passport bearing your destination visa, your onward tickets and the visa fee. But if you intend to gain admission into the country, then, you're requesting for sometime more than a transit visa, and for that, your ownward ticket can not qualify you for such visa: you'll have to meet the requirements for a tourist visa |
FastTracker: For a comprehensive list of required documents to come to Canada I urge anyone interested to actually consult the CIC immigration website and or get in contact with me via profile. Always happy to help! What kind of "help" is it that you can only offer to people who contact you in secret? |
Ecash Planet: Hello house,Do you intend to enter into the country (during the transit) or you intend to stay at the transit hall/gate? |
oriste: Pls after filling the online form do i have to print out for submissionThough, they have a copy of it in their system, but you are required to print it out for paper submission |
weezyana07: Victjustice Justwise others- tnx for the work out here, pls I need close advise to help in my visa application- I will by monday(10) lodge in money in my saving acc. that will cater for my full tuition and maintenance fee, and intend to pay my initial deposit to the sch after then. Should I start counting the 28 day from then or should I after paying the money? Now the online application should b done say on 29day after the 28days of wait? When should I send the paper application? And one more pls house, my hair is big now compare to last year I did my passport should I cut it off or will it be ok? Pls sorry if I ask too much just want to no so I don't make mistake during my application tnxWhat are the rules regarding the 28 days, is it about paying your tuition fees or about depositing the money into your account? If the travel document that you're using is indeed yours, and has not expired, why would it matter how much hair you've grown or how much weight that you've gained? |
aozy: @vicjustice-£4000 pounds or maybe £5000 pounds in my husband's acct by the time we apply and also £1800 pounds in my dom acct. Although from d vaf 10 form what we were asked to keep was £600 pounds for each applicant (x3 = 1800 pounds) for 90 days. But since you were instructed to keep £1800, and yet you have £6000, why are you asking me to tell you whether you have enough money? |
aozy: @vicjustice. Thanks and thanks again. Am so impressed with ur reply and u have made me understand a lot of things which I haven't yet considered. Though intend to apply by July ending which is abt 10mths into his work. I will by faith as they may nt consider it. Thanks once again. How much are we talking about? |
Hi guys,it's me again.Justwise,Vicjustice, hope you're all good. I'm still on the maybe to marry in uk or not matter......Let me run through my case again...Have A British Fiance and British son,I'm still on my visitors visa,me n my boy are actually in uk @ the moment on a visit with his dad. Well,he still can't get time off work to come to Nigeria so we could get married, some say we could marry here and when i return home,i could put in the application for a spousal visa, others say,cos i'm on visitors visa,it could hinder my application...Please guys,my questions now are *should i go home and apply for a fiance visa instead? *i still have a valid visitors visa to expire Aug 2014,do i have to wait for that to expire before applying for the fiance visa We really want to decide quick cos our son is getting older and needs a more stable life(school, friends etc). Haven't really seen success stories on fiance application from Nigeria or should we try marriage visit visa? I cant even which is which exactly, pls guys i need helppppp . Since he applied as my sponsor for my present visitors visa and i was granted,i believe we have the documents for either applications but which is better and faster too.Thank you guys
Since you are in the UK at the moment, i think the best thing that you should do is to call at their immigration office and present your queries: their recommendation would be much more valuable than any suggestion that you can get somewhere else |
Thats exactly what i said to him. But the problem now is he must resume in September, so b4 his would register the business and pay the tax, i don't think he will meet up his resume date in Dublin... Alternatively i'll suggest to him to look for another sponsor... But even if he got another sponsor, does that mean he can't still included his dad personal statement and his own too?
Unfortunately, the only other person that can sponsor him is his mother |
Ok thanks, but is it possible to pay this year tax on the business when the business is not registered yet?
Register the business and then pay its taxes |
aozy: @vicjustice. Thanks for ur reply. I appreciate. After an employer has passed the initial months of probation with satisfying performances, s/he will then be given a full staff status. But s/he will not be covered by the labour law against abrupt termination of employment until after one full year with the company. This means, while your husband had passed the probation period and is staying with the company, his employer still has the rights to terminate his employment at will, but once he has stayed with the company for over 12 months, he will then be immuned from abrupt or untimely termination of employment without financial compensation except on the ground of gross misconduct. I understand how it feels to be separated from your husband for reason of immigration problem, but i like to recommend that you allow your husband to stay with his employment for at least 12 months for him to be established and gain labour rights assurance. Note: it is possible to get the visa even in his given circumstances, in fact, the visa officer might not look into the issue of his new employment, but bear in mind that if the issue is raised, then there will be only one one result, Visa REFUSAL |
Victjustice pls i need your urgent advise on this for my friend in Nigeria. He just got admission to come and study Master International Business at American College Dublin. Infarct he has paid the 1year tuition fee in full this morning. But the problem is : He is the one running his dad business. The business is not registered in Nigeria, and the business income goes straight into his account. His dad will provide his personal account because his dad is his sponsor. The tuition paid in cash into his account and transferred to the school. His problem is: do you think the Irish Embassy won't ask his dad business registration cert? especially tax clearance? He handle his dad business as per they deal with sawmill equipments sales and repair, but the issue is the business is not registered and they don't pay tax on it.
Pardon my harshness, and i will tell you the truth, not according to my opinion, but according to the perspectives of Visa Officers. It will be impossible to use such unregistered and undocumented business as his father's means of income: in the eyes of Europeans, his father is a tax cheat and a corrupt business owner. In Ireland, this is a criminal offence punishable by imprisonment or a fine or both. |
Mayflowa: @VicjusticeIf my understanding is right, you are a STUDENT and you want to VISIT the UK, therefore, you should take the option of VISIT and then tick TOURIST |
aozy: My question is: what are our chances?Your chances would be better if you apply a bit later: he's just gotten his masters and has just been offered a job.... But you need to understand that he is under the probation period of the job, he needs to pass his company's probation period (which could be 3, 6, or 9 months) in order to sustain his employment, and he needs at least one year to be protected (by labour law) from employer's abrupt termination of employment. As the dependants of a man whose employment is probational, it would not seem reasonable for a visa officer to approve your applications. aozy: The visa fee per dependant is abt 130,000 naira i.e 390,000 for us all; can't it be reduced since we are applying as a family?NO, they don't have such trade policy of "buy one and get a second at half price" aozy: Is there anything else I need to know and prepare?YES, you need to understand that your husband's employment is too new for him to be inviting his entire family to stay with him, what if he is made redundant from work? aozy: Also, can we get a flight fee as a family that's is reduced? Or do I need to pay for my son who's 2 and a complete fare for my daughter who's 5?Though, there could be promotion going on every now and then, but you don't get any special offer as a family: bear in mind that only an infant of less than 2 years old is considered "lap passenger", but as your children are over 2 years old, each and everyone of you is required to have own seat, and to pay the full price for the ticket, howbeit, the kids ticket will be a bit cheaper because since they are not required to pay tax. |
uchechuwku: Hello guys.Get a visa for Belize, then present the visa, together with your onward flight ticket to the UK embassy. |
