justwise: There is something odd about the driver who filmed this, mutted, no attempt to call for rescue, is as if he brought the plane down and enjoyed watching it.That car is a an official patrol car, the antenna is a proof... The crash happened at the airport, the fence is a proof... The airport ATC should be aware of the troubled plane... The plane had just taken off, but couldn't get airborne (apparently) because it was not configured for take-off mode hence it stalled and fell down from the sky. |
SimpleJetty: Have his bio data gathered at sent to the British embassy. I am sure they can fish out his finger prints and that's all that will be needed by the met police. They'll have him tracked down without delay. But for them to do this, you've got to proof that truely you guys were scammed by the accused. Also browse for the met police contact email. I'm sure if you forward some info about him, he'll be tracked without delay. Also spice up your claims. This I'm sure will get them gingered to swing into action. I detaste such pple with passionFirst of all, the UK police would have nothing to do with the case of a Nigerian scamming a fellow Nigerian especially when there is no evidence... by the way, the poster's English and the composition is not such that would be understood by English people |

ManTiger: Do you have previous picture of him?Though i did have some very few phone conversations with him over the time, but the last time i saw him was in 1999: I lost his number when i did factory reset on my phone. Unfortunately, i don't have any photo of him |
dannydolly: Hello House, your advice will be really appreciated on my situation before proceeding on renewing my UK visa. My situation goes thus...Unless the purpose of your visa application is in relation with your dad, you are not required to provide his birth certificate or any other document that connects you to him. |
superior1: There is no need to, i don't see where fraud applies to the scenario and Banks don't tell embassy the amount in a customers account.Oh yeah, really? |
phemobay: justwise, please is it compulsory someone should leave money in d account after printing d statement for visa purpose... cos when i printed my statement i later remove d money, do u tink dis can pose an issue? You just have to hope that they don't suspect that you are trying to use deception, you could get banned for 10 years, you know., If i were you, i would withdraw my application before they find out the fraud |
shessyfavour: Hello Justwise and Vicjustice, Please do you remember my case? Well, I am about to reapply probably next month and i would like to know if i can change to family visitor i have a step brother who has sent me invitation and necessary documents but my concerns is during the previous applications i have never indicated i had a family in UK in my tourist form but i just discovered i do after the last application 7 months ago so i would like to know if i can change to family visitor from tourist then i can explain why i didn't indicate i had a step brother in UK before that i just discovered that after the last application. Thanks so much. And you really do expect the visa officer to be dum enough to believe that you are going to visit a "step brother" that you barely know anything about? |
Rommello: HelloWhether the both of you are in Lagos and you are applying for a visa to travel (with her) to any of the EU countries, or she is already in an EU country while you are applying for a visa to join her, you will be entitled to the EU Treaty Rights in either circumstance, unless of course, you are traveling to the UK where she holds citizenship: she doesn't need a visa for Canada and yet, her visa waiver does not benefit you with any special eligibility with rights or privileges. |
femib26: I DID NOT SAY YOU SAID THAT. I JUST WANT TO BE CLEARED ABOUT IT. ANYWAY, THANKS FOR YOUR RESPONSES.What message are you now passing to me by writing this in all capital? |
femib26: Are you advising, he gets another letter? How did I suggest so? |
femib26: hello, could someone advise me on this pls?An invitation letter remains valid as long as the purpose of the invitation is not deemed time sensitive: but it all comes to your discretion, you don't want to use an invitation letter that would be affected by change of circumstances |
angelo82: @Vicjustice,I mean Embassy requirements after getting married to a greek girl in Nigeria.Thanks.Do you need me to translate the original post into your native language? |
suxes2005: Vic,I do not have much knowledge about Mexico immigration rules, i really don't know if they have any special requirement other than the standard regulations that apply to most normal countries |
oladele007: hello Vicjustice, please sir am waiting for ur respondFirst of all, read this thread, and gather some information. By the way, what do you intend to have him doing in France, is he coming as a tourist, visitor, student, trainee, or as a migrant? Finally, except you guys are half brothers of same mother, there would be no legitimately acceptable reason why the both or each of you have different surnames: unless there exists an official declaration of the change of name prior to this development: but then, the reason(s) for the name change would have to be explained. |
angelo82: Hello Vicjustice,I have been following your contribution on this forum and I must commend you are a wonderful person.I will like you to furnish me with clear information on how to go about marrying my Greek babe in Nigeria successfully. What are the requirements before I leave Greece so that I can be well prepared?Any useful info will be well appreciated.Oh, those Greek girls, I used to be very fond of them during my Greek years: i did my own wedding in Thessaloniki (but not to a Greek Girl). Well, to be honest, i am not familiar with the method of operation regarding registry in Nigeria; and i am of the opinion that the requirement may vary from municipal to municipal and from state to state: so i like to suggest that you send someone to the local registry office in your area and find out, the requirement shouldn't be much though. |
I don't think you people are making things easier for Justwise, you bombard him with questions thus putting him under pressure to answer each and everyone (even by emails): How about making the questions open for anyone to answer? You see his name at the top of the section as a moderator, that doesn't make him answerable to every question. |
showstopa: @You said "one question" but I see three here, anyway, you're free to ask as many as wish. 1) There are always instructions on what to do after filling the application, follow the instructions. 2) Photographs are not necessary especially as this is a mother and son/daughter relationship, her passport and your birth certificate are sufficient. 3) Husband's death certificate is not required since the visit has got nothing to do with the husband's issues. |
toskybrown: Yes I have it,it is attached to the extract from the population information system in finland which states that our marriage has been registered.vicjustice, I asked earlier what our chance would be applying at the finland embassy since my husband is from finland?.thanksWell, to emphasize on this, though you may be legally married, but the onus is on you to prove that your marriage is credible and that your relationship is one that is sustained. If you are able to do this, there is nothing that can stop you from getting a Finnish or a Spanish visa. Like I explained before: "If you apply for a spouse visa to Finland (your husband's nation) you can not be applying under the EU Treaty Rights, but if you apply for Spain, you will be entitled to the EU Treaty Rights. Your husband needs to be residing in Finland in order for you to be eligible for Finnish visa howbeit, not under the EU treaty rights |
jredlom: I am a Ghanaian and my fiancee is a Canadian citizen who lives in Canada, she want to invite me to Canada this December 2013 for holidays, she is a student and will be using her mom's bank statement to invite me,I don't work either,I want to know how to go about the whole process and is it possible to get the Visa,I have traveled outside Ghana before and have been in touch with my fiancee for the past 5 years,we have not met though but we do talk on the internet and on the phoneIn your given circumstances, it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to get the visa |
toskybrown: Thank you vicjustice for your quick response.our marriage certificate has an apostile on it.its a red stamp at the top corner of our marriage certificate from finland. This is the same document I had with me but the nigerian lady at the reception mentioned that it was not necessary to submit it and I can tell you that we submitted all the necessasry documents its just that "these people" are bent on not wanting me to join my husband. From your description, i don't think what you have in your marriage certificate is an apostille because, appostilles are not placed on a page that contains other texts, it is endorsed on a blank free full page (usually on the reverse side) of a document. Now, haven given a careful consideration on your explanation and taking the purpose of your application into account, it is reasonable for me to suspect that there was (perhaps) a misundertanding between you and the embassy staff: i am of the opinion that the staff said that your document is irrelevant because it lacks apostille otherwise, how would any reasonable embassy staff say that a marriage documents is irrelevant in a spouse visa application? This is a picture of the Finnish apostille, does your "apostille" look like this?

fourfunmi: Hi justwise and all... You guys are doing a wonderful job here...I stumbled on dis page today in my quest of search for answers.today,I was refused a uk tourist visa and i need to knw what my chances are and how soon I can reapply bcz I plan to asap!Your salary is twenty nine thousand seven hundred Naira, are you serious? My friend, there are so many deficits standing out in your case and it will take a long note to narrate them, so I recommend that you read this article in this link: https://www.nairaland.com/967110/main-reasons-many-refused-visas |
toskybrown: Hello vicjustice, I want to commenend you on the great job u are doing here. Pls I need your advice on my situation.I wrote sometime ago on my family reunion visa I applied for at the spanish embassy(u can check on my previous post).unfortunately I was denied because I didn't submit the translated copy of the document that states that our marriage had been legalized by the finnish authority..If you intend to use a marriage certificate that is "legalized" by the Finnish authority in another EU country ie, Spain, then the certificate is supposed to be endorsed with Finnish apostille. An apostille is a specific seal endorsed (by an EU country) on the reverse side of official douments, it comes in either ink stamps or a sticker label used for certification purposes: for foreign use. Now, apostilles are only endorsed on documents on request by the document owner who intends to use the documents in another EU country, it is not endorsed on nenecessity. Please, check the reverse side of your marriage certificate and confirm that it has the apostille I would recommend that you re-apply instead of making an appeal over a case that you badly presented, besides, appeal is time consuming. If you apply for a spouse visa to Finland (ur husband's nation) you can not be applying under the EU Treaty Rights, but if you apply for Spain, you will be entitled to the EU Treaty Rights |
khan111: Hi i m living in Latvia with Temporary resident Permit and can i marriage with other schengen country girl or it willl be more better if she come here in Latvia and marriage with me then take me with her to her own country , is there will be no problem to me... and which documents are require for marriage in schengen Countries.. suggest me please what should i have to do legally..To be honest, i don't so much understand your English, but if you are asking about the better country to marry in, i would say: it doesn't matter what country that you do your marriage, the apostile that would be endorsed in your marriage certificate will make it valid in every European country. By the way, you can only marry in the country where you reside |
twinz: Hi Justwise,For a better chance, you shouldn't be considering option one or option two, you would be better off presenting both documents: but first, as a business owner, you need to sort out your tax issues, and if your business is not yet taxable, then get a letter to that effect. The NI is not necessary for those who don't have it, but as a person who has the NI, you are required to enter it otherwise, it may be seen as though you are using deception: the NI is used for verification purpose and for checking your records |
Justice, Vickjustice, and other my Ogas at the top in nairaland building ![]() My God I am shell shocked from what I have just seen! Basically, UKBA hurriedly processed all new cases to meet target using people who are not qualified. £6.50/hr to decide someone future? My God!!!!! THIS IS JUST SHOCKING... Look at the state of those office? This is a so called 1st world country.. After watching it, I am speechless. The people (temporary caseworkers) who were recruited to take important decisions that could have far reaching consequences for applicant's life are not even as educated as some of us in nairaland. I need a drink tonight. Oh dear Lord !!! After watching despatches all i can say is wow,im shocked. Justwise, Vicjustice and others, what do you think about this? VIDEO here: http://www.channel4.com/programmes/dispatches/4od READ ONLY here: http://www.channel4.com/programmes//articles/immigration-undercover-reporter-feature
There's error report each time I tried to watch the video |
shakarababie: @vicjustice she's applying for a student visa. And she didn't submit anything concerning source of income. She thought it wasn't necessary. I also didn't think it was cuz ive read thru this thread and ive seen posts like they dont really care about source of income for student visas(ppl using funds in their parents account). I myself didn't submit anything explaining my dads source of income. Lol now I'm scared. It is not really necessary that the embassy is concerned about the source of income provided they are satisfied of the availability of funds: visa officers just do not want applicants to (borrow money and) lodge them in an account just for presentation purpose, they are aware of the fact that such money is not available for use: the source of income is only a means to help decide whether the money (in her mom's account) is available for use. |
shakarababie: Hello guys. @vicjustice @justwise GoodmorningWhat visa category is she applying for? If a student visa, though her chance doesn't look too good, but she could get through if the visa officer is satisfied of the availability of the funds, but her mum may have to prove the sources and also to do the proper deposit as is required of students visa applicants. But if she is applying for a visa in any other category, she would be 99% refused. |
