i will be in the UK in august and due to the submissions here.i have booked a hotel for 2 days at the cost of 100 pounds.
i renewed my visa with a hotel booking that has since lapsed.
that was in June.
you guys say they ask where you will be staying.that has never happened in all my trips.
what usually happens is that they ask for your trip details and and stamp your passport.
they never ask for my accomodation details even when i went with my family.
the only query in my case is why i was refused in 2008.when i explain,they go in to a superior and then come back and give me my passport.
so you guys owe me 100 pounds............lol

FunW: Vicjustice, I need your advice.

I am currently employed with a multinational company. I have three kids and I have 5years UK Visa with two of my kids. My husband and my kid, who has never travelled before wants to apply for 6 months (visiting)UK visa. My husband is currently unemployed. Can he apply using me as a sponspor, including all my documents such as my statements, payslip, letter from my employer etc. Do they stand a chance of receiving the VISA?

No passport photograph.. (I don't know what a transit Visa looks like)

If I'm to submit the same docs as with a tourist Visa application, would it matter if in April a lot of funds left my account cos I made a trip to Ny.. (Ticket, maintenance cash)

prayerful: I just called a staff at Virgin Atlantic.. He said that as long as my transit time isn't more than 24 hours, I don't require a transit Visa..

WONT IT LOOK LIKE I AM PUTTING IN CASH SO AS TO HAVE A HUGE CLOSING BALANCE FOR THE SOLE PURPOSE OF GETTING THE VISA. ALTHOUGH I WILL BE COLLECTING MY FIX DEPOSIT CERTIFICATE.

Yommykixz: I am 24, willing to go to the uk on visit, I have a friend there that's willing to get me all required document from there (invitation letter, statement of acc...e.t.c.) all I have is my little money to travel and not the millions to put in account but my problem is can I use my popsy's friend as sponsor here? do I have to prove the relationship between us?
will I have a problem with my friend getting mw documents? thank you as you enlighten me.

joy90: Hi all, pls i need ur help, i know i'll get lots of insult but atleast i'll hear the truth and be better.. sometimes last yr i applied for a UK visiting visa. I was still in sch then doing my MASTERS. I got letter from sch, also invitation from a family relative. Then i defaulted and used a fake(forged) dad's account cos i didnt seek his counsel. I was denied on 3 counts and i had full rights of appeal.
1. that no prove of the said dad's fund and not convinced that it will be made available to me (i didnt include work details etc)
2. that my cousin that invited me didnt show proof of accomodation and they are not sure the kind of accomodation that will be available to me
3. that my sch didnt include my graduation date or study period.
This was last yr july, i completed my masters coursework in sept though still on my project till date.
i got a job with one of the govt parastatals in same sept and have since been working with them.
now i want to re-apply this december cos thats when i chose for my leave period. i want to know the documents i'll need and also my chances of getting a visa and also if i wud include a covering letter addressing the issue of my refusal or just go ahead and apply with all my genuine documents.

NO, No one will insult you because, everyone has seen and read every case in the book .
Well, it is unfortunate that once you have been placed on the 10 years ban, you can never be issued a visa (until after the 10 years) no matter how clean you came out and how impressive your paper works are, and i must warn you that you got the ban on the basis of the "fake(forged)" bank statement that you presented in your failed application even though it was not mentioned to you

I intend to apply for my master directly cos I formerly applied to study another course buh now I changed my mind for my masters and not degree anymore buh den the new student visa is rili affectin me cos my sponsorer told me to differ till next year septmeber admission. So I rili wish to go visiting before den so dat was why I needed a guide if my visiting plans won't affect my future student application.thanks as I exepect your immediate reply

She is been sponsored on a trip to the uk but would have to tender her account statement as ECO procedure, a contact to bank said that name change can be done if she has a newspaper publication to prove it, but then again she was told by the newspaper agents she called that she can only do a change of name if she has a marriage cert or divorce cert of nysc cert and she has none of the above. Basically she has all her documents ready to apply just her account statement, is it possible she can attach a sworn affidavit to the statement and also explain to ECO that she hasn't updated her account hence the reason why her name hasn't been changed. Please any advice or suggestions would be highly appreciated.

I intend applying again this September and I want to apply for a 2 years general visitor using an hotel reservation since my Uncle won't be around in December. Pls what is my chance of getting the 2 years general visitor visa?

ayobj: My younger brother jumped the gun in the year 2000.he was helped by an uncle who was staying in the usa then with a fake british passport with which he travelled to the uk.he worked for a while but later had issues which he has not disclosed.

ayobj: Had a daughter with a british girl who first demanded money before marraige and then refused to maarry him saying africans have duped her and her sister for stay issues.
He was subsequently deported in 2007.he had no money so could not travel on his own volition.he said he was a nigerian.
He wants to go back.

ayobj: When I visited britain,his friends said I should get him a schengen and that he will find his way back to britain.

May God bless you all abundantly for the nice work on here but about my parents age, my last application wasn't done online so how do I fill that space when ever am ready to apply though am thinking not to apply again now but to do so before Xmas wheen my account would have been good to go. He was the person that sponsored my previous trip to the UK 2yrs ago as student and I only worked just 1wk during school break and I didn't over stayed.
He will be providing his statements of account as sponsorer which I don't know the balance.
My ID card will be included with Pay Slips
Letter of Inco-operation for d firm
Hotel Reservation will be booked online
Am planning to include a statement of account to d shares (20,000 units) I bought from Finbank since 2008
Am thinking of depositing the sum of 400K in2 d account and print the statement or maybe I just deposit 750K and print my bank statement then would state in d letter to the ECO that 350K was my 3months arrears salary which has been paid and my uncle deposited 400K 2 cover that my trip and does it matter if I deposit the sum and still prrint my statement same day.
will the ECO get to know if the funds in the account is no longer up 2 what's on the statement wen accessing the statement because am planning to get funds from friends to deposit and print it immediately so as to refunds their money instantly same day after printing my statement

ayobj: i have followed the posts on this blog and i find it exciting.i howvere want to share my own experience and maybe it will help other applicants.i must say that my personal experience does not conform to most of the posts herebey posited.
i just picked up my 2 year multiple entry tourist visa to the uk.i applied with my wife and we were both succesful.
contrary to most of tha advices here,my account had 593,000 naira as balance.my wife had 67,000 as balance.
we got the visas after 3 weeks.
i only started travelling abroad last year but i have gone to the usa and the uk since june last year and now.
on my first application last year ,i had only 300,000 naira balance in the my salary account.

i was denied in 2008 december.i was earning 183,000 that year.
had 67,000 in one account and 50,000 in my savings account.
the ECO said it can only buy a return ticket and my IV letter was of unproven circumstance.
i lost faith and was angry until someone encouraged me to apply last year and was successful.
later,in augist,i took my 3 children and wife and was also succesful.
so there may not be a straightjacked response as we think.

i have stopped doing invitation letters since the status of your invitee.
i do hotel bookings all the way.

once again,i am so impressed with this blog.

i have been going through this website as a guest and decided to drop my problem now...please i thank you guys here because you doing a wonderful jon.
house please... am about to submit my document to the british embassy and all the documents ready.
i want to know my chances because my sponsor deposited 400K in my account to cover my trip to the UK though i have been there before on student visa for duration of 1year and 6 months visa which i only stay 1year and 5months.
making it 2years ago i have been in the country.
i work with my uncle in his company and he pays me in cash so i do not have much account balance so decided to deposit the 400K as funds to cover my trip.
Am kind of scared if the deposit won't be money lodgement.
do i state d funds are money paid to me in arrears of my salary for 4 months..please which would be better though i run the account and money goes out steady as i make withdraw but steady but its been like 4 or 6 months ago the account had a balance of 500K but ever since then i have been making withdraws.
would appreciate your kind advise.
