beejaybida: VicJustice and JustWise, this is for you. Please be aware that you guys are fake agents/visa touts enemy number one due to all your assistance on visa issues. We are very grateful. Don't let them discourage you at all. That's what they want so that their market will come back. Please don't mind them else they win. Keep up the great work and God bless. At first, i thought you said Vicjustice and Justwise are "FAKE" visa agents, but then, i read between the lines and eventually understood that you meant we are enemies to the Fake visa agents. That is encouraging |
SOTAJ: @Phillipin7, I really don't think vicjustice has ever been rude in any of his postings. The whole essence of the forum is to rub minds and share ideas because no single person has it all.I'm glad that you have followed the correspondence and have made meaningful contributions yourself. Thank you so much for coming in. My disappointment wasn't just because she accorded me a rude person, but because she said she knew a lot of people that have complained about my rudeness, and it provoked me to understand that she already had this opinion about me, yet she kept me busy providing answers for her various questions. This is the most ungrateful attitude that i have seen in Nairaland |
ifyjay: vicjustice hi,I still think u re doing good.u re being forthright with your answers,it might not be what we want to hearbut its for the best.we have decided that I should come for a visit first because of shortage of finanance for spouse visa.I explained to you that if you are applying for a visa to travel to the UK as a tourist/visitor, then your application would be treated as such, you would be required to meet every requirement and your circumstances will be taken into consideration: Your work/job details, Your salaries/incomes, Your bank-statement, Your obligations/home ties etc. This means, you are not applying for a visa that is under the category which you are entitled for by rights, TOURIST/VISIT visa is not by right, but the SPOUSE visa is within the rights of your husband who is a UK citizen though he would also be required to fulfil the requirement |
philipin7: "Ungrateful being" there he goes again. There are some words you really should not use you know?Oh really? So, you knew that and yet you think it's ok to use such words to address someone who offered his time and was there for you? How do you justify the words in this quote? philipin7: How have i complicated the whole information with my enquiries, vic justice you are so rude i observed.I am sure i am not the first complaining about you.I really would appreciate if you show me the post in which I was rude to you or to any other person from whom you got my rudeness report |
philipin7: How have i complicated the whole information with my queries, vic justice you are so rude i observed.I am sure i am not the first complaining about you.HOW AM I RUDE? SHOW ME A POST WHERE I AM RUDE TO YOU. YOU UNGRATEFUL BEING! IS THIS YOUR OPINION ABOUT ME AFTER ALL THE SERIES OF QUESTIONS THAT YOU'VE BEEN POSING AND MY TIRELESS EFFORTS TO PROVIDE EVERY ANSWER FOR FREE? YOU MAKE ME REGRET |

naiko: vicjustice, its unfair hwo you dont give answers to a few people around here even when we ciritically in need of it,hv posted my request for advise in all your threads but am yet to see any response, below is it again;I suspect you are talking about tourist visa, but you are not making any query, so, what am i supposed to say? As for the mentioned insurance, how can that be "included as savings"? By the way, what is the policy involved, i mean, is it a travel insurance? Also, it would help if you give detailed explanation on what you meant by "bank papers" and the content in it |

brownlord: thanks bro for your time, that means there will be no need for me to apply? and also if i can search for the right document on google i wont even come and seek for opinion here in the first place, anyway thanks for your time i really appreciateI wouldn't honestly recommend that you apply for a visa in your present circumstances, you stand a great chance to be refused with no reserve. It is OK to come here and seek people's opinions, but the reason that i recommended the use of google is because i think it is the appropriate place to search for the UKBA websites and to get the first hand information regarding the accurate documents to use for visa application: so, it is one thing to ask for opinions, suggestions, recommendations and advice; but another thing to ask about the documents needed for visa application since the information is available in google.com |
lafad11: @ vicjustice, @justwise.... Thanks for the information may God continue to bless u. Quick 1 boss. Av visited the *UK* couple of times and now i want my wife and daughter to visit as well. Their invitation letter sent to me by my broda was dated 5th june and am yet to submit their application.what's your take on dis pls.But this particular question had been answered before, or was it not you who posted it here?: https://www.nairaland.com/967110/main-reasons-many-refused-visas/3#11318106 |
SOTAJ: @Vicjustice, if I understood Philipin7's posts well,i think she only wants to apply for a family visit visa (Which is the category of visa I have always applied for). Like I said initially, I have had cause to apply for and even renewed my family visit visa without any birth certificate. I want to believe the biodata page of one's passport suffuices for any information required as regards the applicant's age and so on.She actually has complicated the whole information with her various enquiries, and i am beginning to get confused as to what category of visa that she is applying for; and i have been dealing with her queries with the understanding that her Spouse is in the UK and that she would be applying for a visa to JOIN him, and in this situation, she would be required to provide her Birth Certificate. I appreciate your constructive posts. |
brownlord: Hi everyone no body seems to reply to my previous post, please i need your guidance as to enable me seek a visiting visa, i want to apply for a UK visiting visa, my uncle leaves in the Uk for more than 25 yrs now, and have talked with him and agrees to send invitation for me to visit, i have just graduated from a university awaiting service in Nov. so i intend to visit and come back for my service by nov. and i also want to use the medium to search for a school i can comfortably do my masters immediately after my service, please i will need your advise on what i need to do as this is my first time, what are the document i need and how do i need to go about it, am presently not working but i can sponsor myself, please i need your adviceThe number of years that your uncle has been living in the UK is absolutely irrelevant, meeting the required conditions is what matters. You have just graduated from a University; that now makes you have less obligations or home ties to return to Nigeria for, and yet, you don't have a job; and that now puts you in a category of those that are feared would take up illegal employment in the UK. You said you also want to use the medium to search for a school where you can comfortably do your masters in the UK? But you don't need to travel to the UK before searching for a school, it is way easier to do that online (even from Nigeria) than to search using your limited physical presence. And as for the documents that you need, please, use www.google.com |

Well, the fact that you guys applied for tourist visas and were not required to present your Birth Certificate does not mean that every application category is exempted likewise. You should have known the circumstances of Mrs Philipin7: this lady is applying for a visa to go to her spouse and she is under the sponsorship of same, therefore, her birth certificate is required. Visit the UKBA site and see what is required from applicants in her category |
philipin7: but i have a birth certificate which states my moms age, do submit this birth certificate or just use my passport which has my date of birth in itYou are required to submit your Birth Certificate for this application, this is a requirement and it is a MUST: Your visa will definitely be refused if you submitted your application without your birth certificate. |
philipin7: i was careless to have filled in wrong year of births for my parents in my last application in2007. but now i want to re apply and i am sure of the correct dates, will this disqualify me. There will be discrepancies when they check the former form, how do i address this discrepancy when i want to re-apply.Under normal circumstances, this is supposed to forever "disqualify" you, but you are lucky i have experience with this scenario. It is not a rare thing for Visa Officers to observe discrepancies in given Dates Of Birth especially pertaining to parents, so, they are aware of the fact that the DOBs of a vast number of Africans are highly uncertain. I have applied for a visa before entering the DOB of a relative (something that i wasn't sure of), and the visa was issued. And then, on another application, i forgot the DOB that i gave previously; and i entered a totally different one: but at the end, i added a note that reads: * "Though i have honestly filled the form with as much information as i can genuinely provide, but the DOB of ******** is highly uncertain as there exists no national database (in Nigeria) to keep such records and therefore, in the absence of such, i would like to state that the DOB provided is not to the best of my knowledge." Trust me, the visa was also approved despite the discrepancies: i am arguably one of the people that made the Embassy to consider adding an option for people who happen to be in this situation; and now-a-days, there is an option of "I Don't Know" when entering a family member's DOB. Now, you can do the same for your parents date of birth, these visa officers are aware that Nigerians (like most black African nationals) are not properly documented: So, you can do the same: If applying online in the past, (when you can't proceed to next page without entering a date of birth) you could have entered a guessed DOB, but now that there is the "Don't Know" option, this is your best option: And remember to make a declaration of your lack of knowledge at the end claiming that the DOB of your parents are highly uncertain as there exist no national database to keep such record. Note: In future time, your parents may need a sworn (and permanent) Declaration Of Age in order to deal with the situation and to be considered eligible for subsequent visa application |
lafad11: Thanks for the information may God continue to bless u. Quick 1 boss. Av visited the *UK* couple of times and now i want my wife and daughter to visit as well. Their invitation letter sent to me by my broda was dated 5th june and am yet to submit their application.what's your take on dis pls.Except in the case of time sensitive events or in the event that there is a change of circumstance, an invitation letter can be valid for 3 months and in some cases, 6 months: but the longer it takes for you to use the invitation, the more likely the embassy wants to confirm (from your guest) that the purpose is still valid |
syahboy: Hello everyone, I have been a silent follower of this thread for a while now. I am currently in my final year in skul and graduating very soon,I want to do Meng petroleum eng. In the univ of calgary, the fees is CAD 13,000.My dad is going to be my sponsor but he earns about 400k monthly and about 6-7mill yearly with bonuses, also has some landed properties. I dnt think he saves much but he can pull a loan of $30k without collateral if he gets an introduction letter from his work place.I want to find out if $30k is deposited in his account with 6 months statement of account and a cover explaining it is a loan, would that proof my ability to fund myself? Also about ties I wouldn't have any employment as I plan to go as soon as I graduate, all my family is in Nigeria and I have nobody in canada. How can I address the issue of ties to home country? I would really appreciate your contributions and suggestions, please help a brother out.In Europe, when a load is given to aid studies and support the student, the statement remark says Student Load, and the loan is not given as a bulk payment, but rather, the student get the payment by installment methods. But in your case, your Father's loan was lodged into his account as a lump deposit, and there is no evidence that the money is intended for you neither is there any indication that the money would be available for your studies whilst in the UK. This circumstance also falls into the category of Money Lodgement and the ECO also has reasons to be concerned that the money was deposited for the purpose of this application and that it would be withdrawn once the visa is issued. |
opeajay: Please kindly advise.I applied for the UK student visa in 2002/2003 with the old passport(I was refused). Now 10 years after,First, i must say that i am not really sure about the length of time that data are kept with the UKBA, some people say 10 years and others say different things. but i am of the opinion that it could be kept for as long as it could even for life. Well, you said "Meanwhile all other information there remain as they were just the date of birth"; do you really think this is to your advantage? I'm afraid it is not, but on the contrary, they are more implicating evidences to identify you and detect the discrepancies in your Date Of Birth, and for the fact that one (if not both) is falsified, you will be getting yourself banned for 10 years if you applied with a different DOB from the one the Embassy already stored in their system. |

keystone123: What are the different between north Cyprus and Georgia Tbilis in terms study, visa, work, business, economy, government policy and general life for student in both countries, What are the opportunities that north Cyprus student possess over Georgia student. contribution from student in both countries and from people who resident in both countries. please this topic is strictly for mature people,Though better than Nigeria, but both countries are awful places, not for a future seeking Nigeria: but in a case of choosing the best among worsts, i would recommend North Cyprus |
DOMINION1: God will bless you guys for info on how to apply for uk visas, pls i am going to uk for a friends Graduation and i will be the one to sponsor the trip of about 7days. i have the below questions to ask.The embassy has no business with revenue issues, and NO, as an employee who receives salaries, you are not required to include any such tax documents, only those who apply for visa as business owners may have need to provide such as proof of legitimacy, but yet, it is not a requirement DOMINION1: 2. How much balance do i need to leave as the closing balance?N1.5 billion |
shuli: Good day all. I am a silent reader of this forum. God will reward you all.First of all, do the Dates of Birth have the same year? If so, then i can encourage you with a solution. Let me give you an instance of my immediate younger brother: I remember being an early teenager and i happened to be checking some documents and our Birth Certificates, and then when i came to his certificate, i saw that there were two copies together, and i took a closer look to see why it was so, and i observed that the data were the same except that one had record of his date and time of birth as June 30th, at 23:59PM; and the other one had it, July 1st at 00:01 AM. So, perhaps you can claim that your case is the same? The solution: Go for two birth certificates with both Dates Of Birth, and taking example from my brother's scenario, ensure that the time of birth is also included, and include an explanatory letter with them for your next application. I believe this is the only thing that you can use to explain why the discrepancies otherwise, you may be in a very serious trouble that attracts the 10 years ban. |
Henrychris: @ Vicjustice thanks for the info I appreciate but my question is dis can I use a dorm acct for visa applicationIf the account meets the requirement and there is money available for your use, why not? But I hope the currency in it is universally tenderable |
philipin7: na wa o no response, ok i'll keep on asking.Do you really think anyone in Nairaland knows how much is available for your trip? philipin7: My husband is taking care of all expenses, so are they asking for how much is available for my flight fare or for the whole duration of my stay. Both your flight fare and the money available for the entire duration of your trip |
philipin7: Pls can someone explain to me why it is asked in the visa application form if one gets financial assistance from relatives and they also request in the form for us to state the frequency at which thess financial assistance received.Yes, that question is tricky and could be a trap depending on circumstances. Though there is nothing wrong to receive financial assistance, but if you are an adult and you are applying for a visa as an independent person, then be wise enough not to say that you receive financial assistance from anyone otherwise, your overall financial stance is in question and you would need a whole lot of explanations to give; and your application is jeopardised. But if you are applying for a visa as a dependant, then, it may be OK to state that you do receive financial assistance via money transfer. Either way, stating that you do receive financial help is more likely to raise more questions which might also lead to further investigation even on the person that you claim is sending you the money (that is if s/he is in the UK). Yet, it could be an advantage if you are totally or partially under the care or responsibility of the person who you claim is sending you the money: such person could be your Spouse (if you are an adult) or your Parents/Relative (if you are a minor). It depends on circumstances |
Dollben: Me and my mate lived in the UK for 3 years (Schooling and Working) before we got back to Nigeria....Now my mate called me this morning that he's confused about travelling to the UK for an official course because before we left he took the whole money in his accounts plus the banks over draft and credit that was giving to him...He also collected some phones from different networks which he is suppose to be servicing but he never did..and it has been like 2 years now...SO house he's asking me what is the worst that can happen to him? if they will nap him or what?Wicked soul, so after all these evil (and many others not mentioned) he still wants to return to the UK? People like you make life difficult for ordinary Nigerians abroad, i say this to your shame! |
