dtraveler: Thank you. I will check now. I suggest a link on this platform where most of the details will be clearly spelt for the different categories, so it can be referenced to anytime. It would be great if you can create that link, ![]() |
dtraveler: Yes, she's simply going to visit her sister and kids, with the brother in law. And of course to experience the UK. My uncle is a senior lecturer at UEL, and also owns a home there. What are the documents we should gun after. She can apply for Family Visit visa, it is also under the category of Tourist/Visit visa, but the difference is: Family Visit visa can be appealed in the even that the visa is refused. Please, understand that it will be an enormous work to be writing down detailed lists of the required documents for everyone who asks this question, therefore i recommend that you visit the UKBA website where this information can be found. |
kaffy4tope: Dublin is a good country, far way better than the UK. I'm also preparing to travel there, I have friends and family that are making there big time. You claim Dublin is a Country and yet you want someone to contact you to know more, more of what? |
dtraveler: That's correct bros, but, in your post here: https://www.nairaland.com/967110/main-reasons-many-refused-visas You stated something else clearly.I trust that you are aware that you can not use your "business account" as sponsor if her intended travel has nothing to do with the business. And as for the visa category, i can't really suggest the kind of category that is appropriate for your mum since the purpose of visit wasn't mentioned: |
hailolive: hey i need some light on this. The 10 years ban regulation might not have been in place in 2007 so you were not banned then, but you will get the ban when you apply again as long as the period between the time that you committed that fraud and the time that you are making reapplication is within 10 years: so, the misrepresentation and the false documents will definitely count against you. Your matter is complicated, it would be an uphill struggle to get a UK Tourist/Visit visa with the record against you |
philipin7: Thanks for your replySince he is a UK citizen and he is in the working class, he is eligible to invite you, his wife. philipin7: If i cant get a letter from my office granting me leave what do i do, if they agree to help by drafting a letter for me what then. You are eligible for the UK visa even if you are not in employment provided your husband (the UK citizen) meets the financial requirement to be your sponsor and accept responsibility for your mentainance whilst in the UK: also, provided you are applying for a visa under the category of Family member/Spouse of UK/EU/Swiss nationale. But if you are applying for a Tourist/Visit visa, you would be treated like such, and you chance of getting the visa is extremely slim for reason of your employment details and the other reason which i will explain in the below paragraph. Now, you seem to be dedicated to your work place, therefore, you need their approval and cooperation in order to go on holiday a holiday visit. philipin7: And the 6,000pounds my husband is planning on saving is it ok?It should be OK provided the saving transactions are detailed in his bank statement. philipin7: Or do i skip the month i deposited the huge sum and start afresh from a new month to present my statement of accountIf the whole thing has to go by your own circumstances, there is no doubt about the outcome, you will definitely be refused the visa without any reserve. And having taken into account your N450k bank statement, the circumstance that you are subjected to at your work place and the foul that you commited due to the Money Lodgement; I am now going by your husband's circumstances. Now, if you want to apply for a spouse visa, it would be granted you if your husband have the "£6.000", but if you are applying for a visit/tourist visa, i'm afarid to say that you do not meet the requirement for these 4 reasons: 1) Your bank statement is pretty low 2) You don't have the support or cooperation of your place of work 3) You can not satisfy the Visa Officer of your home tie and obligation to return to Nigeria for 4) You committed a foul by lodging money into your account |
philipin7: Pls i came across this site and i have some questions to ask about family visit visa. Before talking about the money, there are other things that need be considered. Is your husband in the UK, if so, what does he do and what are his circumstances? You would also have a problem for reason of your work place since you're under its employment |
awumen: answer me now abeg @vicjustice, thanks for your quick response but i will like to add that my wife was issued a two year visa in her own case,so why didnt they see the payment i made into her account has 'lodgement or violation'I explained in the article titled "Main Reasons Many Are Refused Visas" as i quote: . "for those considering the use of sponsor, know that there are very few circumstances in which it may be considerable for an adult applicant to use a sponsor, such sponsor may be a Spouse (especially for Family Reunion) or Parents/close-relatives (especially for Education)..." First of all, know that this is a Husband and a Wife scenario. Your wife applied for her visa as your dependant spouse, and you lodged the money into her account to support her application; the Visa Officer must have been satisfied of the source of the money and must have taking your calibre into consideration, therefore, in this circumstance, it is now up to the visa officer to judge that the money lodged into her account was from you (her sponsoring husband): in this circumstance, the onus visa officer officer to use his own initiative to make decision; and the natural law is a major factor that goes your favour |
rubenic: Ok thanks. How do i legalize my documents? Can the legalization be done in abuja? How much does it cost? What are the documents i need from my sponsor?WWhaw do you mean "legalise" your documents, who suggested that to you? |
Demaejy: She will not have any problem as long as the Passport is genuine, and she can use the Passport for visa application in Nigeria if she has the immigration rights of residency. Burkina Faso is an ECOWAS member, perhaps you should consult an Immigration office to verify how long an Ecowaa citizen is allowed to stay in another member state |
rubenic: Can someone give me tips on how to apply for Italian student visa ? ThanksYes |
everystep87: hello all,Friend, you involved too many unnecessary documents, this alone shows how desperate you are with your lack of confidence. You can't use a solicitor because you have absolutely no legal ground; a visa is a privilege, not a human rights,: even President Jonathan could be refused a visa. The problem I see here is with your bank statements, you presented multiple accounts, and the total is N1.3 million, this reveals that you money is scattered all over the banks therefore, your account statements do not meet the required format or standard: this is the main reason that you can't get the visa; and no solicitor can assist you |
dtraveler: I don read tire, and still no answer here. You already have a 2 years visa, then you are not a novice in this |
If her younger sister is 27 then she may be close to 30, and for her to win a beauty contest at such age means she is indeed a beauty |
Why not put it CONSUME instead of "drink" Can a car drink petrol? |
Demaejy: HI Nlanderz,Burkina Faso is a recognised sovereign nation, so it's if you have its genuine and valid passport, you should be a legal tender |
Okukk: I think this piece came so timely, it's really educating. You can use www.google.com to locate the website of the RSA and you will find every information there. But I'm surprised you ask if you bank statement is "necessary here" |
boxbonnie: ¶ have not applied...pls advice ♏e..is stating in the "letter of sponsorship" that the funds for my studies would be from the comapnys acct,or what? How do ¶ prove to dem dat d funds in d company acct will be available for my studies?I do not encourage anyone to use a company's account for visa application if the purpose of the intended trip has nothing to do with the company, I've seen lots of refusal resulting from this. Yours might be lucky, though |
justmenoni: Who cares if you give a living rat about it,you are rather silly and not ok,stop been full of yourself, respect they say is Reciprocal, comon stop feeling like you own Nairaland and like you own everyone...there are alot of people here before you and they still treat every1 with respect just as they want it,but i have seen lots of your post in as much as some of them are educative some of them are rather harsh..if someone is taking a step that you feel is not okay there are ways and manner you go about talking of it rather than letting the person feel bad and sad,i know what i am saying...do you think i have time for side talks as you have insinuated..i am not an hypocrite and i hate hypocracy with passion,I am just telling you the way i see it so if you feel otherwise or taking it personal then its your issue, stop feeling like your numero one on here comon its a free world and we are all here to learn from one another,Alot of people here traveled out with just a visit visa and end up marrying oyinbo ppl for papers yet when they see someone else taking the same step they act as if they them self are born abroad...i begiWe are not in a contest of any kind, so there is just no need for all these rants; i however like to apologise that i accorded you silly. Cheers |
shavel: Vicjustice, I would like u to reply boxbonnie's questions cos am in the same shoes with him, my dad Is also the chairman of his company but me and my mom has 25% shares each of the company's share capital..........wanna Knw if dis isn't gonna cost me any refusal cos I applied already. You have already made the application so, I wish you success; it is not for me to raise hope or cause anxiety or stress |
bloomin: can i have your phone number, here's my email add. ogepray@yahoo.com. We are about to apply for vacation visa, my hubby and i and 4 kids. We need to consult you. TnxI have taken your family status into consideration and i will be willing to contact you by email. Cheers |
boxbonnie: @all..¶ want to apply for a study visa to canada (undergraduate) intend using a company statement of acct owned by my dad.. Its a current acct with resonable amount of money inside/gud flow of cash...This concern is covered in the original post of this thread boxbonnie: My question is:how do ¶ prove dat the funds in d acct will be available for my study?Had i known the transactions and conditions in the account statement, i would have been in a good position to suggest the right way to prove the availability of fund. But since your dad owns the company, he is the right person to help you with this query |
justmenoni: @VicJustice how about if he had eben on the local level for long? if i may ask you a simple question, why do you and justwise have issues against nigerians trying to seek for greener pastures? In as much as i appreciate some of your efforts on the forum some of your post and response seems just to harsh,if you are a visa consular for one of the western countries am sure no Nigerian will get a visa...i beg lets try to encourage others,if you feel someone is taking a drastic help about going overseas why not just ask for their email and send them a message over there rather than been mean to them on here..You know some people here have friends who knows their ID's so lets be our brother's Keeper's,we all know most of the Nigerians abroad right now starting from years back aint genuine when applying their visa for the first time except the students, lottery winners and all that.so please and please just a piece of advice. Are you sure you are OK? What do you mean, i have "issues against Nigerians trying to seek greener pastures", you don't know my mind, do you? Look, if you expect me to say YES to every query, then, i will be misleading people to waste their money by applying for visas that may never be granted them; i do access people's circumstances to the best of my knowledge, and i can see that the majority of applicants are at high risks of visa refusal, so, my conscience will not let me encourage such. I will be silly like you if i have to give positive answers to everyone to loose their money rather than discouraging them with the truth. |
wizb: Hello all! I have been invited for a training program in Leeds, the program starts on the 16th July and will end on the 31st of July. Please I would like to know if its too late to apply for a visa, how long does it take to get a visa, what type of visa should I apply for and what documents I will need to attach to the application. Thank you.Invited for training on what, is it House-Keeping or something like that? |
awumen: justwise and vicjustice, my question is, i paid over a million in two installations into my wife's account to secure her two years visa to the u.k,now she made payment of exactly one million back into my private account, can we call dis any violation or lodgement?is it possible that i use the same account or use my salary account that is not up to one million naira or combine both? You just said the answer, and yes, it is money lodgement and it is a violation. |
badboy: @ Op,No one can get a visa with photocopy of any documents, therefore, your first refusal was inevitable. As for the second refusal, the issue i see here is your Home TIE or Obligation, the visa officer was not satisfied that you have compelling reasons to return to Nigeria for. Now, i don't think there is anything wrong with you spending one fourth of your yearly income on a holiday of a life time unless of course you don't really have the year worth salary savings in your account |
tiarabubu: @vicjusticeYour question is similar to that of Opoki, please, refer to my responce in page one |
