Easterners should start dealing with the useless governors and ex-governors who have embezzled state funds which is meant for infrastructural development. I am very unhappy with the way TA. Orji and Okorocha are still walking without holding them accountable for their mis-deeds. I am not happy with my happy in those states. They shouldn't act as if whatever they do in their states doesn't concern them. They should treat their messes with strong hands and show them that they don't steal from igbo people. How can an igbo man not be prudent with spending when its in their DNA to spend money well and build wealth? We need more loyal people in the east and we will get loyalty by force. They shouldn't sit down there and embezzle funds. Igbos don't need free things from the government, they only need enabling environment and things will start moving in an astronomic pace. My uncle is a testimony in anambra state now, his business is better than many businesses in Lagos because he has keyed into the development in anambra state. What intelligent business men will do is building good businesses in anambra state now because when all these things open up, there will be too much rush. Trust my brothers to occupy every possible land to erect their businesses. I believe the east will be great if we can help in building it again. We need not sit down in our home and let Okorocha and colleagues eat our money and go scot-free. #ibelieveintheeast |
Anambra state will be great again. With meagre allocation from the federal government, they still find ways of developing the state. With cargo airport in anambra state, we won't have to spend millions in transporting goods from Lagos to onitsha again. Everything will be coming into the state. Anambra state will also be blessed with oil and not cursed with it. We won't be dependent on it but it will make businesses boom more in the state. I just pray that Abia state will be serious with their dredging of their river so that we can have our seaport since the distance to the sea isn't that far. If my region can give me these two things, I swear I'm returning home, when I have a beautiful home in my state. |
Greyworld:Gosh! This is the funniest post on nairaland. Thinking of game of thrones will make u laugh harder. |
This is really big, this biafran agitation will yield fruit. This has gone beyond be careful. |
The time is very close. More than 500hundred top officers in the world and news agencies have been contacted in the recent killing of igbos in their own land. They've started the civil war, we didn't raise any dust. |
omonnakoda:You are shouting and you need to calm down. I never said we wanted to join you guys, never did we think about that. I was only telling you the basic truth, your Ogundipe of a brother was cheated by the north and no one said anything about it. But Ojukwu said he can't bow to a younger man, so he seceded! You said the igbos killed the yorubas, that's quite funny, I think Festus Okotieboh and Unegbe were ibibio, right? Who said Ironsi wasn't targeted in the coup, if you read history well, you'll know that they couldn't kill him because he had loyalists around him. For crying out loud, do u expect to kill the leader of an army easily and from outside for that matter. Your claim that it was majorly igbos that initiated the coup, let me give you the list now: 1. Major Chukwuma Kaduna Nzeogwu(Delta Igbo) 2. Major Adewale Ademoyega (Yoruba) author of "Why we struck" 3. Capt. G. Adeleke(Yoruba) 4. Maj. Ifeajuna(Igbo) 5. Lt. Fola Oyewole(Yoruba) author of "The reluctant rebel" 6. Lt. R. Egbiko(Esean) 7. Lt. Tijani Katsina(Hausa/ Fulani) 8. Lt. O. Olafemiyan(Yoruba) 9. Capt. Gibson Jalo(Bali) 10. Capt. Swanton(Middle Belt) 11. Lt. Hope Harris Eghagha (Urhobo) 12. Lt. Dag Warribor(Ijaw) 13. 2nd Lt. Saleh Dambo(Hausa) 14. 2nd Lt. John Atom Kpera (tiv) 15. Major David Okafor. I don't understand why you listed the Oshodi family, I don't know them and I don't want to know them. The fact that your brothers couldn't do something for themselves show that you guys didn't have the balls. |
omonnakoda:Please stop this your attempt at being funny. When Ojukwu said Gowon shouldn't be the military head of state and your brother Ogundipe who was the senior military personnel then, did you say he wasn't supporting your people? When Ojukwu found out that they wanted to cheat the southern Nigeria and ask you people to secede and form your own country rather than being a slave to the north, you guys didn't agree. The igbos have always stood for equity and fairness in the southern part of this country against the domineering tendencies of the north. The igbos are not afraid of the north. But I can't say for the yorubas because they've always being shaky when the topic is about the north. |
The only question I want to ask is this, "what has Buhari done in the power sector?" Since his inauguration as the president of this country, he hasn't done anything in the power sector. Why are you giving him all the praises? |
There was a man who gave a talk some months before the election, warning everyone about the tendency of Buhari's northernisation agenda. The audio recording didn't sell because people were hell-bent to avoid this man. The southern part of this country have almost 40million young men and women with good integrity and foresight. People who know what's happening in the international world, people who understand the dynamics our world today. But, he won't appoint them, he decides to appoint men who have lost touch of their environment, talkless of the international scene. The best post for a southerner in his cabinet is SSA, that means the only thing a southerner can offer to this government is a "servant role". I don't want him to discontinue in this trend, he should continue. I know my people careless about Abuja, so, whoever he appoints in Abuja is none of my concern. |
I love Nigerians, we don't steal millions anymore, its now stale. We're gunning for trillions! Oh! I forgot, we are already there. |
People in government have been dying since last month. |
These days its easier to throw away broken things than repair them. Now, after the divorce she'll look for another guy feign love so that she'll be married. She should also put it into consideration that she's almost out of the market and any man that will accept her is on the losing side. |
He has finished his job, its time to return to prison. |
Okay |
GentleToks:Thanks bro, we only live once you know. Padi mi ni e jooor |
GentleToks:I don't know about the north, so I can't say anything about their "oil". But I can tell you that, anambra has oil and is been drilled now as I type this in Nri. If Nri, which is alittle bit far away from the riverine areas can boast of oil, then what will you say about umuleri and aguleri. The problem we have in Nigeria is that we judge issues based on tribe. But its all good. |
GentleToks:The only information u get is the one that's available to you. I understand you. Anambra state has oil and from the nature of their soil, it will be much. They have close resemblance to the riverine areas, so its difficult for you to remove from the oil business. Secondly, anambra state has started the exploration of oil now in Nri part of anambra state. So, what you're saying is false. The region around umuleri and aguleri is still in dispute but there is oil all over the region. I am not saying you shouldn't continue hating, if it makes you understand the region well, its good for you. |
GentleToks:The problem I have with you guys is that, you analyse things based on tribal sentiments, which I understand. I want to tell you some things based on the fact that I'm on the field: 1. The east has 3 oil producing states at the moment. Imo, abia and anambra state. Please note that. 2. The oil revenue around the delta region I.e ondo and delta is going down. So, attention is going to far south. 3. Lagos will produce oil but its just 10,000barrels at its maximum per day. My guy, don't be too taken by ondo state which is your best bet in the oil market right now. You see, I didn't insult you. So be civil too. |
She's ugly! |
I don't know how these cultists manage to deceive young guys to join them when they know that they'll die one day or something bad will happen to their family members. Guys want to feel fly, they want throw words into the air! They want to be fearless, they want feel like men! The funniest part is, they're only men when they're dealing with innocent jews but scared as hell when they walk alone and see rival cult guys. Nigerians should reduce the cause of their deaths. You don't need to die in the hands of stupid guys. |

sonofananimal:Women don't understand how the world is run! Men are higher than women in the presence of God! Check the animal kingdom, the male animals are the boss! Oh! If they think they're better than animals, let them give reasons. The world isn't created equal, even if the economy of the country is run on equal wealth, the economy will crash. So, the women should understand that equality with men is a "myth" propagated by feminists! A lady once said in this thread that men shouldn't scold women, for feck's sake? Women should be scolded! Because when its their turn, oh my gosh! U better be far away from the earth because they'll rain down thunder from heaven for simple issues. I am saying it again, its not an equal world. God doesn't have an equal! He doesn't have a woman beside him. Jesus tried as much as possible not to marry these women! To avoid marital problems! I am saying it, if you don't take care of your home well, the man will not be good. He will only bear for some time and go outside to relax. A wise woman once said, "leave your husband stomach full and the balls of your husband empty". |
It is simple, ladies. If you don't want to be submissive, why can't you stay single and remain unmarried? The submissive ones will be looking for husband while the feminist will enslave the good husband materials everywhere. Please, if you don't want to be submissive, its not a must be married. Never was it stated anywhere that marriage is a must. I think you'll feel happier when you're single if you don't want to be submissive. I'm not saying men shouldn't love their wives, but when you try to rub shoulder to shoulder with men, it is not right. Whether you like it or not, its a man's world! I say it again, its a man's world! Its because things have changed, women are now behaving anyhow. These days, women complain about absolutely everything. If its not their way, the whole house will not hear word. They won't want you to come close to them. Everything must be their way! Women are unbearable! Chai! Treat your man like a king, give him a home to relax. Let him see a home where he is going. Free him from too many problems. Please! |
Una don start! |
EdCure:You can't smell sarcasm from a distance? |
For Abia state to become normal, they'll need 30years of good governance with no form of corruption. I know what I'm saying, the state is in a bad "state". |
