@seuncyber

Just like you were told earlier, This is an FTA forum. By FTA we mean free to air as in the word free to air. HITV is a pay tv so we have only a "reference" business to it here. same way we have with DSTV, MYTV and now Daarsat. Now if you are really serious about wanting our dear FTA, then i would suggest, like has been done time out of number on this forum, that you go read from page one of this forum to the very last post. by the time you go half way reading, I bet you would become an authority. Maybe 99% of us on this forum knew next to nothing about satellite TV until we stumbled on this great forum and today we are bold to say that we can pass for pros. Ask obnelly the latest guru if I am lying. Ask me too I would boast of how much I have learnt. Ask this Ibadan man too. same testimony, So go ahead and read. It does not kill.

Great nairalanders,

You guys really captured what was on my mind while at the Daar forum. I am sorry I did not give you all the "before you watch requirement" details. It is not just enough for you to have to change your receiver to HD type which Daar says it is "giving away" for 40k, you might need to change your TV set too to one that can accept HD too ass pointed out by one of the participants. If this is true then Daar should stop fooling themselves that 9ja will just change their electronics to get hooked to them. come to think of it. I would rather spend extra on getting nilesat than hook up to daar and get plagued with the "proudly Nigerian" syndrome. What is the use of patriotism if I dont get value for money. Nilesat I am on my way Jooooo. If Daar gets seriouus then we would start thinking more seriously about them. Shikena

Dokpesi gave the whole speech and answered the whole question. This proves the one man show Nigeria syndrome.

He started with the general tv history in Nigeria then moved on to raypower, ait history.

Now to the area of our interest. They are coming with 40 channels on their phase 1. It is in HD (high definition) format so our receivers are no use. i mean strong and all these ones we have that are not HD. their channels would include

fox sport
euro sport
CNBC,
Aljazeera News,
Fox News
BBC
CNN (not for sure)
AIT News (brand New from them)
patform for Hollywood, Bollywood and Nollywood movies
dedicated Yoruba movie channel
dedicated Hausa movie channel
fox baby channel
b4u movies
Kidsco
Nickoledeon
fox crime
fashion tv
quest tv (african fashion tv from daar)
Platform for primetime and soundcity
mcmtop
mtv base
mcm pop
c music
skytech
National geographic
two discovery channels
NTA
AIT
MBI
Channels
Silverbird
Nigeria leagues
and others I could not write.

their hardware will go for 40k i.e HD decoder, dish, LNB and maybe cable. they also have a flat screen tv branded Daar for them that has the decoder inbuilt. comes in 32" and 42" option if you don't want wires running round your house.

Subscription would be 5k a month. pay for 3 months and get 1 month free. pay for 1 year and get 2 months free.

The guy did not however mention the bird they would be on so after the program i went to the MD of Daarsat and asked him he said it would be on intel907 which is 27.5º west. The bird trend was transmitting Nollywood from before they moved to eutelsatw4 on 36º east. He however did not give out FR, SR and TP. i guess they don't have it yet so we will have to wait. lyngsat did not list it too. maybe we can install the dish using 11052 H 12600 and constantly do a blind scan. But first go get a HD compatible decoder before u say you can't see pics ooo. It is in HD format

Transmission will start 7th October according to Dokpesi with 8 channels. No premiership and champions league for now. we have to manage the usual two matches a week until next bid i.e if they can out-bid HITV.

what else? I can't remember right now. would post once i remember.

My general conclusion is that they may be better than MYTV and DSTV medium package when they roll out but definetely no where near DSTV full bouquet. For HITV, if they don't repackage, and look beyond premiership and champions league, then they might as well close shop because Frank Nweke Jnr. would not be there to bully the right for them when it expires.

But in all Nilesat will still be the ultimate according to testimonies from this forum members. That is my destination point.

@all fta lovers

I did an auto scan last night on intel 7/10 (68.5 or mytv Sat position) and I found this new channel "foot school" the freq is 12522 H 26657 same as mytv transponder. are they adding that? info not yet on lyngsat and satcodx

dont we have an inside info on daarsat on this forum? everything about them is so secret. we dont even know the bird they would be on least of all the tp frequency. i think they should be more forthcoming rather than all this general press release we get everytime. the next press release i may guess will shift the startup time by two months. grin grin grin

@Nash-fta

I entered the above freq and got nothing. let us hope new fta channels are coming up there. maybe they are still working on it.

@arsenal1
can u confirm the freq, SR and polarization globecast is on so everybody on that bird does not go on a wild goose chase. If the info on lyngsat is your ref for that globecast info, may I point out that globecast is an operator with diferent chanel under it moreso the beam is for europe audience and those in north africa and not for Nigeria. Please put us through with the correct info. we can't wait for an additional channel

@ojofree

channelo is still working. right now I am watching HIT Train (12:36pm). 12476 H 26040 is the parameter. VPID is 0490, APID is 0491 and PPID is 0490. confirm yours is now working.

@tox9ja

you well done ooooo. if no be say I log on I for no sabi say u dey go mama charley villa. @ twinstaiye

thanks for the call today. I appreciate.

@ onye_ngbu

I honestly don't buy your idea in your last post. I would have loved to stay mute on the "grammar" stuff but your last post just would not let me. I think when reading, we should read in between the lines. Toxnaija, I have met him one on one and I believe we are mis-reading the original intent of pointing out the grammar usage way in this forum. He is not the queens english kind of guy. infact e dey blow pidgin no be small. I want to believe what he is trying to say is that we keep our post simple and clear so that the non educated ones like me would be able to understand and get the idea been passed acros. infact, to me ooo, u can post in pidgin once it is not ambiguous. Now you will agree with me that there are previous post that try as hard as u can, u don't get to understand what the poster is tying to say.

secondly, the matter had been laid to rest and we are moving on with our FTA thing but the new dimension you put in is just not commendable. you really made a personal attack there and i want to ask you in a humble manner to post an apology to the whole forum member. Dont you realize we are one family here and this forum had been lie  kept relatvely free of F and S words. if na lie I lie try go chat inside yahoo chat room come see where bad words dey fly. so as the judge (self commisioned. anybody wey no gree make e buy me pepsi larger), hereby sentence you to two new post on fta info and not any previously posted one for the house. we actually need new info badly here.

@ all

We should get to move on and forget posting on grammar or no grammar. keep our post clear and meaningful. una go agree with me say if bigjoe no make am siple and clear, we no go dey boast say na our thread be the best for info sourcing on fta. abi I lie? meanwhile, I dey enjoy channelo no be small.

@all

if anybody get the first set of HITV decoder and smart card especially d smart card, make e hala me. i get info wey i no fit post for this thread 4 d person make the show no spoil. anybody wey get am to sell to. hala me. vickoy23@yahoo.com or 08023162076.  you need to be an active member and an old one at that before i go fit tell u anything sha because i no wan make hitv come send dia rep make e extract info from me come spoil show 4 those we don dey enjoy am.

Daarsat- na mouth them get. them don shift again to next month. who wan bet? na rubbish them go roll out. When noise don plenty pass action. We all know d result.

nigcomsat- another nitel. all equipment no service. infact instead of them putting the SAT to good commercial use dey will strategise until the lifespan remains 6months. how can they want to be a SAT provider and at same time content provider. na wa oooo. na Nigeria be that for you. if it hadbeen an individual that launched that SAT or say a private company, it would have started work since.

NTA, what freq do they transmit on? I am not that patriotic to the detriment of my development. you don't blame them sha. Go to their director's office, I am sure he would be watching DSTV. That is why PHCN rewarded it's best customer's sometime ago with Gen set. If na lie i lie, try go for their office if no be Gen them dey take operate.

I just have a believe it is the intention of those in authority to permanently keep us information starved. Do you know how many minds would be developed through quality programming?

@ nilesat forum members

how can you people come to this forum to intimidate those of us that cannot afford big dishes because we don't have space for them. see abi na read. I go sue una ooo. for wetin I go sue sef? ok I know now. I will sue you all for having what I don't have. I quite jealous u guys. we are stuck with 90cm for now. my next accomodation must have a space for 120 meter dish. una go see.

@nikekenny

You ought to know this forum is about FTA and not DSTV. FTA means Free To Air so we don't give tech support for DSTV, MYTV, HITV and all those pay stuff. The mention of them would only be in reference and not detailed. So the members of this forum would appreciate it if you don't digress or distract the primary focus of the forum. If you need Tech support for none FTA, please contact your service provider. There are forum members number in the treads above so u might contact them personally for this and not on this forum.

@all

Did I speak your mind? Please let us discourage this before our dear forum becomes Pay TV forum and drag us away from FTA we have come to enjoy discussing about with the goal of improving sef. Abi no be so?

I know one day with the way u wonderful guys are pushing in this forum, the world fta providers would see a reason why they should include africa in their beam. This Sirius bird has a very good beam on Africa especially 9ja. Did u guys notice that with a 60cm dish, you have a good reception in 9ja. Let us wait patiently for them.

Watch ou for d faq been compiled by the forum gurus. i think that is great. God bless u all: tox9ja, twinstaiye, eniitan, all of u that makes this forum worth d visit. 4give me for not mentioning ur name the list is just endless.

hi great nairalanders. first let me say a big WELCOME to bigjoe the author of this thread. u no fit sabi d importance of the thing wey u start. pple like me don benefit so much so tay i go install 4 person sometime ago. I made 5k from that venture. but the experience of that day is another story.

I don finish all the whole ku available to 9ja. i don install 4 dish to capture the available 4 birds. so my adventure spirit pursue me to splitting signals for receivers such that u are independent of one another. i assumed the theory that quad LNB output are independent of one another i.e 4 independent output. so with this adventure in mind, i got 4 quad lnb for 3,200 naira each at oshodi mkt and replaced my existing dish lnb with these LNBs. infact i personally own 3 dishes while d 4th one is my neighbor's dstv dish. i replaced his LNB too. now what did i get? Like i assumed, the output are independent so my neighbor got his DSTV. while I got on my bedroom receiver, access to the 4 dishes the receivers in my sitting room too has access to the 4 dishes. They are all independent which is to say if say one receiver is on 11747 H, i can have the other receiver on 11747 V or any V freq. this is not possible with the single LNB. Ofcourse I use DESQ(DISECTOR), abi wetin dem dey call am I don forget d spelling, for each receiver. You can congrat me coz there is no more fight btw my son and I over what station to watch. he takes a receiver while i take d other.

will post pic later

cheers to all

Bigjoe, welcome once again. no vex say my own homage dey come late. i neva visit this forum for some time now.

Please, I need u guys help. I just got my SRT 4653x receiver fried after installing the latest patch.

After loading the latest patch from a flash drive via the USB port of my receiver, it counted from 1% - 100% and after that it restarted and never came up. Guys, please, hw can i get it working. Money no dey now to bye another receiver and EURO 2008 is fast approaching. embarassed
Azeezbaba

you would do well by telling us exactly what u mean by frying your decoder. This is because there had been two types of "frying" in this forum. One was my case which happened when I used USB on 4653x and my receiver would not come up again. It will keep rebooting or what some call restarting itself. I was unable to get the correct rs232 cable so I took it to oshodi where the guys there downloaded a working one into my own with rs232 cable and it is working fine. the second case is like what happened to pitondenz and his reciever would not even come on at all and upon investigation, he discovered that his receiver is a fake of 4653x model so nothing could be done about it. maybe if you tell us how exactly our receiver os behaving,then the vry experienced hands like enitan, pitondenz etc can be of help.

@all

e be like say we done finish KU band for 9ja. dem no wan just give us anything again for 90cm level.

@all

how are u enjoying the stuffs in this forum. me I am saturated I want something new. I wish I could do something about installing 2.4M and above dish. All these C band users just dey intimidate pple like me for this forum. haba dem no sabi say i dey jealous of wetin dem dey watch? okay i go try contain my jealousy. no be dem say make i no get space to install big dish.

I think these free2view pple will not make it good on their promise about the 36 channels even as the ones they said will start April ending did not start. I guess this problem they have with S.A licencing authority is really affecting them. if that is the case, then thanks to DSTV and their friends. No wonder africa is not growing. when infomation and such things that will improve our thinking, behavioural and mindset pattern are puposely kept away from us out of pure greed from those that are supposed to put in the growth catalyst. Anyway I understand it is because of fear of failure since if the whole 9ja for instance has the option to watch well packaged foreign stations, what woud we be doing with the local stations hat has next to nothing to offer. Even our own NTA is not free to watch in 9ja through any bird and we wish to showcase ourself to the world by showing such foreign opera like the gadener's daughter and others.

Long time long silence from me. Reason? No new discovry. Honestly, I am enjoying this forum. I visit to read whenever I have internet opportunity. I will say big THANK YOU to eniitan, badaru, toxnaija, enigma, Bodejohn, F_marshal infact all of una wey dey active. I no fit mention finish and u juxt24 u  sure say u never dey fta before tay tay. You don become authority o. That is exactly what this forum does to u if u get hooked. do u know that if i don't get online to this forum in a day then i believe a new info is passing me by and when I finally do it becomes the truth. Kudos to u guys.

@pitodenz

Have u been able to fix your receiver? same thing happened to me some time past after reading patch, upgrade, softcam and so on I went into practical with my 4653x. I got int strong website and downloaded this firmware to upgrade my receiver. i put it in a flash disk and ran d software but what did i get? same result as u.

I went to computer village to get myself an rs232 cable but could not connect the receiver to the pc. reason is that they said it was d wrong rs232 cable. i ended up going to oshodi with d receiver and they used their receiver to fix it.

Here is what they did. they used their cable to loop my receiver to a working one of same model. then they just went to the menu and now copied they software from the good reciever to my bad one. after copying was completed, they unplugged mine and then it was ok. i am on 08023162076 if u need me to verbally explain. Best of luck.

@bodejohn

Abeg broda no go try say u dey use 60cm go dey look for that wild naughty bird o. U see how many warships wey juxt24 carry before e get am. grin . d tin be say if u no get 90cm as in standard 90cm no just try am. no be those 80cm wey dem dey call 90cm for us at alaba. anyway u fit try am sha if u win, I sure say we go all try to be like u.

@all
now read this but dont laugh. I am ondering if someday some one would do something to a 90cm dish and it can be as strong as say 3.6m dish signal wise so that we wey dey for rent house wey no get space fit enjoy all this dia nilesat and co. abi 90cm users no wish like that? remember dont laugh. abi u dey laugh?

u did quite gr8 in your first attempt. infact I think u should buy a bottle of pepsi lager beer for that your sat finder. if not ehn u for hear "whin" the sat u are on is eutelsatw4 where u have dstv, hitv and trend TV that is on 36ºE. I would employ u to go through the tread again from page one and u wuld find info on how to do it better. But honestly u did far better than me on my first try. I had not come to this forum when i installed my first dish. I had gone to Alaba to buy the equip and employed the service of an installer who was unable to track down the 68.5 intelsat 7/10 bird. he promised to come over on monday to do it well beause it was saturday eve. I could not wait for him and on sunday i went up and after about 5hrs, with lot of trial and error from observing what the installer did the previous day, I got it. my advise is this. get the info of the bird and freq u want to track first, set ur receiver to this bird and freq, then with a fair idea of ur East, west, north and south, then start tracking. welcome bro

@hearsoclean

Have u been able to solve ur disq switch? remember I tried it at my place and could not get ur receiver to work with my switch. I think the problem is one of two. maybe ur receiver model does not work with disq switch or the switch version u are using is not compatible. Mine that did not work with yours is 2.0 version. I would suggest u try 1.0 version maybe it will work. let us know the result. I would also suggest u shift to strong receiver. let us know ur experience

@all

does anyone here know how much the quadro LNB cost. I mean lnb with four outlets. There is a polarity conflict when i try to access channels on H when my son is watching on V (I have two receivers).

I also spoke with one of DSTV distributor and he said he had seen this 90cm dish motor. I told him if he can get them, many pple on this forum and beyond would buy and not need to install 4 dishes to get all the fta available to 9ja. I hope he gets it. will tell you all if and when he does.

hi heartsocle

I used that receiver n the past but had to return it to the guy i bought it from at alaba mkt because it would not work well with MYTV card. it always require me to re-insert the card at intervals of 5 mins. it is however a good receiver for fta. to get your e.tv back, do a factory reset for the receiver and set it up again as in reset the receiver to factory settings. if you go through it's manual very well then you can add satellites and frequencies too. it works great but for the prob it had with MYTV card which they said they would rectify. are u in lagos? then u may want to see me for operational tutrial on the receiver i.e is if u are lazy in reading the operational manual. try and go through this forum from page 1 to the end u will become an expert too.

@enitan

can u send the same guy to me cause i need that bird W3A. the more i tried the more i get convinced I can not receive it. I have 90cm DSTV dish or should I call it 100cm? because it is bigger that the regular dstv dish all around. it is the first sset they sold in those days PM me on vickoy23@yahoo.com or text me on 08038587259

Hi great nairalanders,

this post is getting more intresting by the day but for those who started it, we would not have the opportunity of getting so much knowledge.

@F_Marshal

great we have knowledgeable ple in the house who could put us thru. pple like u. it would be nice to let u know that 98% of the members of this forum knows next to nothing about about satellite and fta before joining this thread but has learnt so much from this thread that they can pass for proffessionals. call us half baked we no go quarell with u if at the end of the day we fit get to watch the channel ( grin). by the way u sound either the local food wey u carry go obodo oyinbo u never finish am or u dey use all ur money buy am over there. I hear say the things wey u mention cost no be small for yonder. u dey miss 9ja no be small.

@ pitodenz

that eutelsat w3a is so difficult to get I am almost giving up but I tink I will give it another shot this week end following ur instructions. will let u no how it comes out. wish me luck. I actually went to get another dish (the first DSTV set they sold) it is bigger than what these alaba boys sell to us in the name of 90 cm. when I measured it diagonally, the width is 90cm and the height is 100cm so I dont know if to call it a 90cm dish or 100cm dish. but whatever, i would be trying out w3a with it this weekend.

@ bodejohn

It would be gr8 if we get a seller for the motor in 9ja. I saw the pics and the tech detail. that is cool. lets hope the alaba biz men would import it asap.

@ everyone

u dont need to add another lnb to the hitv lnb u are already on 36ºE and that is where trend is. just add the frequency 11747 polarity H and symbol rate 27500 to ur receiver under the eutelsat w4 PID shikenna. scan the freq. and u r there. Dem never add nollywood and all those stations dem promise sha.

I equally spoke with trent customer care and from his words, it is obvious that it will not remain FTA forever. Bad news though is that they would not sell their smart card to anyone who does not buy their receiver. le us hope they would be smart enough to sell their card just like MYTV because I dont see pple throwing away their receiver because they want to watch trend. they should rather let pple who has their universal receiver to be able to subscribe. anyway dem still never talk officially sha so make we no assume yet. who knows, it might be fta for life.

this pple neva get clients for their satellite. RASCOM1. just like NIGCOMSAT1. We hope sa african mentality no go kill the satellite.

am tony and am using strong srt 3650 with two fixed dishes.
on is 80cm facing east and 90cm facing west.am able to get bbc and other channles but they are scrambled,i want to know if anybody knows the code to decrpyt bbc and other channels.most of the channels that are not scrambled are christian channels.thank u alot.
my email is blessatsu@yahoo.com
you need to be very detailed about the satellite you are receiving from. if I may guess, you are receiving from intelsat 10 or what was pas7/10 (68.5ºE) and the BBC there is from MYTV. This station can only be viewed along with 13 others if only you have their smart card. but you should be receiving the christian channels including etv for free. probably you might need to upgrade your receiver. Go through the post (from page 1) and you would learn a lot more. I learnt 75% of what i know from this thread. Dont be lazy about it. if you go through and still have a problem then you post it here. lots of experts in the house.

Hi all

Long time no post from me. Na Hustling.

Has the 90cm users noticed the new stations added to intelsat10 (68.5ºE - Mytv position) If you have not noticed it then i think you need to scan your receiver. seems these pple just realised that not everyone can afford the luxury of space for big dish.

I am always monitoring the activity of the newly launche dsatellite that beams well on africa. Not our own NIGCOMSAT1 (I dont think that thing will ever transmit a thing until it exhaust it's lifespan). I am talking of Rascom 1 on 2.8ºE. Lets hope they will not tow the path of NIGCOMSAT1.

You guys can monitor these stuff too. I think better days are coming for free to air. Hurray

@ayusman16

try twinstaye's post if you are using strong receiver. But I am aware that HITV has  this new type of Receiver (Black color) if it is that one then I don't know anything about it. if it is a strong receiver then let us have the model number maybe a nairalander has a solution for it.

@Ejike3

ofcourse african movie, teletoon and fashion TV are not free. they are MYTV package only made to run 24hrs on their own. they used to be on one channel before.

Thats intresting if finally nigeria has deemed it fit to have it's national staton on a KU band and we would not have to pay to watch our own local content. if Gabon, Ghana and Cameroun can beam their signal free, but the so called Giant of Africa cannot then ,  I will give it a try later today when i get home. thanks for the info I hope is not one of those "totori" (flash in the pan) that Nigeria is known for.

Just modifying this post. I went to satcodx.com and NTA+ is listed there as free. Thanks for the info. secondly I just remembered and for which I confirmed from satcodx.com. etv is now free. at least in the past few days up till yesterday, i have not been entering 6969 before viewing ETV.

These are the HITV stations I got on intel907 (27.5ºW) Like i said in my earlier post, I cant explain how the signal got there but the down side of it is that the signal keep fluctuating but when it do come in I have it at 55% quality. Maybe it is a reflection or something that made me get it in the first place or maybe it is there and i have not tracked it well. It is not free. You would have to use there smart card to get it so might just be useful only to HITV customers who want to take advantage of the FTA in the west. I migt try to contact HITV and find out if they are moving west or adding west to there east.

On 11.861 H 28.088 I got Hi Life, MTV Base, Hi Sports, FoxSports, E!, LTV8
On 11.904 H 28.095 I got Nigezie, Hi Sports2, SkyNews, Love World

The VPID, APID and PPID are as follows

Hi Life - Vpid 0033 Apid 0769 ppid 0033
MTV Base - Vpid 0554 Apid 0555 ppid 0554
Hi Sports - Vpid 0034 Apid 0035 ppid 0034
Fox Sports - Vpid 0512 Apid 0650 ppid 0128

@ayusman16
What brand of receiver are u using? Do u have the etv showing scrambled channel or u dont have it at all. if it is showing scrambled and you are using strong receiver, press 6969 twice (i.e 6969 6969) on your remote. ir it is eurostar then press 8888 on your remote. it would not work with Mytv smartcard because they are not with MYTV infact while MYTV is Conax encrypted ETV is nagravision encrypted if you are using strong, what model number is it. if 6969 does not work i.e if you are using strong receiver then you might need to patch your receiver or better still download the software from a receiver of same model number that 6969 works on. let us know if this helped if it does not you might have to provide more info for guys on this topic to help u.

Hey my good people, Are u aware that france24 has been added to 68.5ºE (MYTV). MYTV has splitted the channels the marged together i.e african movies, fashion TV and teletoon. they now stand on their own frequency. while african movies still remains at 12,722 MHz, Horizontal, 26.657 Ms/s, FEC: 1/2, France 24, Fashion TV and Teletoon are on 12,522MHz, Horizontal, 26.657Ms/s, FEC: 1/2. Go reset your receiver if you have not done so. just rescan intelsat 7/10 KU or Pas 7/10 depending on your type of receiver. I just hope they would add better channels like documentary, movie, animal world, sport, etc. you know such stuffs.

Hi Nairalanders,

Promised to post the detail of my experience while installing the two LNB thing. The dish should be 90cm dish (the size of dstv dish). for the make i don't know. nothing is written on it. Got it from a guy who brought it from holland but left it unused.

so i got an installer  who was useless to me because I found out he does not know more than the basics of installing dstv, hitv and mytv so I ended up doing it myself. I climbed to d roof top (don't try to if u don't have extra life in the freezer), used the first (main) LNB to track 22ºW and locked the disk there. then, moving around the second LNB, i tried to pick the signal for 27.5ºW using nollywood frequency (i don't have a sat tracker so na trial and error). I picked signal when i put the LNB on top of the main one and tilting it at its base up and the head to the lower right of the dish (see uploaded picture above). the question was how do i get the LNB to stay that way. so I broke ply wood into five pieces and fastened them together with a tape and using my tabe I fastend the Second LNB, wood and main lnb together. But by the third day the tape was streching (weather) and made the LNB to shift and loose signal so I had to go back and use the wires in a cat5e cable to fasten them together.

Now for the HITV signal on the 27.5ºW (i believe it is this degree because it is the LNB I used for Nollywood that I got the HITV from) I did blind scan using strong srt4653X and to my surprise i got HITV channels. all of them. I am not at home now so when i get home i would copy the freq and other infos to post here.

The signal i am yet to pick is 7ºE on a 90cm dish. though every info says I should pick it but try as hard as i can i could not. has anyone picked it in lagos?

@tushman
Happy experimenting

Hello nairalanders,

I tried the two lnb stuff last weekend and it was an intesting experience. it did not work from the left for me as suggested earliar on this tread but i got it on top. (pics atached) I was able to use the lower lnb to receive 22ºW and the upper lnb for 27.5ºW. I dont know what i did but when i was fidling with it I picked up HITV signal on the west intresting. i wish i can explain what happened. Dont mind the untidy job but I got good signal. would update this post to give detail of what i did.
