Plus this post isn't to bad wash you please. Exactly, even canada has more confirmed cases of the COVID-19 than Nigeria. |

ndubuisi1213: Greetings fam, a similar case with Eguoski...
This is a second application. Was denied last year on October...i submitted 7days ago, forgot to tick yes ( left it No) the column that says if I have been denied visa in the past in the process... I have never been denied any visa any where apart from last year October( my first app).
Although in my letter of explanatory I address the reasons for refusal ( purpose of visit and family tie both in canada and Nigeria )
Today will make it one week I submitted my application...
Should i send a mail? Need an advice fam Raise a CSE and attach a letter of explanation. State it like you are drawing their attension to your mistake, appologise for the inconveniences and reference your previous LOE where you explained the last refusal. |

Victory1989: I believe God is on your side, not everybody is given a chance to explain such mistake, it is God that has make the VO given you a chance for a review.
1. My advise for you right now is pray to God. 2. try to defend yourself while you did not thick or answer the questions correctly, look for a good immigration lawyer that will give you clue on how to respond, make sure you do work with him/her do not allow him/her write alone, review what so ever he/she most have written add your own thought to it too or better still make research online, you will get similar issue with possible answers.
From the look of thinks you medical call is close, just comport yourself, chose the right words, the VO really want to hear you explanation, do you best to convince him, it only you and God that can help right now Yo! Medical call ke! Not in this case oooo, from statistics, refusal of this particular visa is CERTAIN and that is the best case scenario. The prayer now is against a 5 year ban. Approval may be granted in next application after serious explanation. |

eguoski: I only have 7days to respond. I guess I'll just have to admit it was an innocent mistake and apologize and wait for whatever the result would be. Anybody with idea on how i should structure the mail should please help me. Its really disturbing and psychologically traumatic for me right now However you want to frame your letter, dont use the phrase "innocent mistake". From a canadian cultural standpoint, there is nothing like an innocent mistake. Substitute that word for words like "ooversight" , "inattentional blindness", explain that you read the question without reading meaning into it and deferred to your previous answer in your last application. If you stated your previous refusal on your USA visa, attach proof of that to show you are indeed credible and this was an isolated incidence. If you belong to an organization, let them write a letter attesting to your character, hopefully it shows this way isolated and not done for personal gains. If you referenced your refusal in your sop, highlight it to again proof that it was isolated. Facts as I see it: If you did not reference the previous refusal in your sop or loe, then it becomes very difficult to prove it was unintentional. The best you can do is pray for mercy and a refusal. |

oilyngbati: Mine was done over a decade ago and back then (I don't know of now), right after graduating, you can file in for your PR (a.k.a Landing papers), and while that's in process, if you show the CIC proof of your pursuit of further studies in the USA, (in my case, was via scholarship), they issue you what they call minister's permit that allows to go across the border back and forth, until you get the final Landing papers. But you're right, one must consider the long term plans. Things weren't as stringent back then as they are now. Sounds like a life time ago. Thanks for sharing. |

Or Do you know any company you can recommend? They would need to pay for it with their credit card. You can sign the consent form and send it to them to help you process it. My thoughts on you doing it yourself is thar your IP address clearly would show you arent in canada and you may not know what their legal name is. Also, you cant do it without their consent as that would be impersonation. I don't have any specific company to refer you to. Sorry! |

UrekMazino: So that means I have to send 2 mails to the school; my secondary school transcript and university transcript separately... Guess I gat to burn more money Thanks for the advice Note that it can also be REJECTED. The university is already aware of the format your school uses in typing these transcripts to them. 1...it is addressed to the school in a typed up letter attached to the transcript 2....it is stamped on the flap after sealing it and signed 3.....I dont know about your school but some schools indicate student copy on the transcript they give to their students. My advice: Put in the work and stop trying to cut corners. You might end up penny wise. |

oilyngbati: When you’re ready to apply for school in Canada, just go for a 2-year program in any college outside of Ontario. It’s cheaper, stay away from 4-year university because the funds you will need to present at the embassy is too high. College programs are cheaper and since it’s only for 2yrs, you’re only required to show proof of funds for 2yrs as opposed to proof of funds for 4yrs. Besides, colleges are cheaper than universities and you can always transfer to university after your 2yrs of college. In that case, all you need to get your BSc is additional 2yrs of study in the university, since you already have 2yr-diploma from a college. This was how I did mine. I graduated from a Canadian college (2yrs) and transferred to a university in the US to obtain my BSc within 1.5yrs. Good luck and wishing you all the best This a good plan but it is not entirely true. Firstly, you are not required to show proof for the entire duration of your program. You only need to show proof for 1year only, then show the source of the funds. Not all colleges are cheaper than the universities in their yearly tuition. Example: The college in brandon, manitoba (ACC)charges about 14-16k for tuition. The university charges about 12-18k depending on your degree. So your primary focus should be on securing that with a lower yearly tuition. Secondly, depending on your type of degree, obtaining a USA degree may make things more difficult for you if you intend to remain in Canada. This is because when you bring that degree back to canada(mostly for professional courses requiring licensing) you would be regarded as an international graduate and face the same trouble like you schooled in Nigeria or Europe. |

oilyngbati: you can, but I don’t think you can get a scholarship for post grad. I got mine over 10yrs ago when I was in my late teens and it was for undergrad. But no harm in trial This explains it |

oilyngbati: Another thing/advice to all who are already in Canadian schools (colleges and universities)is to be actively engaged in your school’s sports activities, be it soccer/football , track and field. Many schools in the US will offer you full scholarship once you are good in your chosen sports.
I’m a recipient of US full scholarship via football/soccer after my college education in Canada. The Nova Scotia community college has a very good soccer/football program and sometimes they play matches against community college teams from the Eastern USA. So get involved in your school sports teams, you never know what opportunities awaits you in that aspect. Congrats! It would be wise to also consider longterm plans like securing your permanent resident status before moving to the states. The ban would currently hinder you from getting same in the USA. So calculate your move very well. |

Truthfully, I had less than what you have right now when I decided to start. I also didn't have up to that available for my spending when I arrived. So you would still survive if you apply yourself and have a good spending culture. |

UrekMazino: Thanks... Pls I heard that an international student can do at least 9 credit courses. I would like to know if paying my tuition fees according to the courses I pick will reduce the tuition fee? In reality yes but fact is that the letter of admission issued to you has a financial commitment breakdown that considered you taking the entire 30cr. Then again for most schools, you cant pick courses till you have had a meeting with your advisor after getting your visa. |

UrekMazino: Can I pursue my dream to school for undergraduate course in Canada with 4.5 million naira?
I just wanna know before I fully start this process... Thanks. The answer to this is Yes and No. Yes because in reality, that is about 16k cad and would be sufficient for you to pay your first term tuition in a school in Manitoba and cater for at least 6mths of bills. However, you would need to secure a job within this period and figure out a way to fend for yourself. In manitoba, this would be possible if you are doing a 1year or max 2year course. Your hustle would support your tuition if you commit the hours. No because you need to show proof of the entire tuition of approximately 30credits (roughly 16-21k cad in brandon university) and an extra 10k for living expenses. This means you would need to show an account statement and source of funds up to 10m naira. I hope you understand. |

UrekMazino: Thanks very much... Pls is the 9 credit units per semester to be recognized for only Manitoba University or all Canadian Universities? Yes the minimum you can register is 9credit hours (3 courses per semester) but during your Visa application, tuition is calculated for the entire credit load of your program( which is 30cr/yr). |

SOLARPOWER1: But I want to ask, is it not possible travelling to write Nclex in the philippines and then use it for Canada? I am not clear on this, I hear people talking about going there to write nclex alot? Pls throw in any info you have on this. Writting the NCLEX-RN is the last stage of the canadian and USA process (that is after all evaluations are done and the candidate receives an authorization to test from the BON). So even if you are fully licensed in USA (including passing the NCLEX-RN), it means NOTHING to the canadian process at the onset. You would still have to get evaluated by Nnas and progress from there, and that often means the test of skills they conduct and a bridging program if gaps were found during the test of skills. I can almost guarantee you that gaps would be found if you are coming straight from Nigeria to get tested. |

Age : 32years
Marital status: single (but will be married this year by God's grace)
Years of experience : only one year internship plus 8months previous job experience as an IVF nurse before my one year internship..
Highest degree: Bachelor of nursing science
Sibling in canada : my elder brother is already married in Canada. Based on the information provided here, you would not get invited to apply if you submit an express entry profile. OPTIONS: if you are male and your intended is a female less than 30yrs with 2 degrees or a masters degree, then they can be the principal applicant and would qualify as a family using your spouse's profile. Use the link below to manipulate your parameters as they relate to your situation. https://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.aspNote that recent draws have been for those in the 470s. kweenoma001: hello good evening, am new here, am a registered nurse and i graduated from school of nursing..... i want to apply for my BSN.. please how do i go about it and which school is best for me. You can apply to any school within the country. Your choice of school would depend on how much you can afford for tuition. You can look into schools like University of Alberta University of regina Brandon university University of manitoba University of Winnipeg.......etc , or type "10 cheapest schools in canada" into google search engine and work your way down. Although the schools may require you to send your SON transcript, admission would be equivalent to that of a high school graduate. None of your previous courses would transfer over. Word of advice: Write and pass your ielts academic, pass the CBT exams and move to the UK to work. It is a surer process and would take you less than 6mths. Start salary for most NHS jobs is 20-25k pounds yearly. |

She paid the tuition fee from there backing it up with sponsorship letter telling them that the fund in her statement of account would-be replenished throughout the academic year. The programme is just a year graduate diploma in project management. I had my first degree in civil engineering since It was almost 10 years I graduated, that was why I opted for a diploma course.
Secondly, my son lives with the family of his mother but he visits me once in a while. Besides he is only 7 yrs old. My plan is to take him home after I get married next year. That was the reason I didnt include my fiancee and him. Please how do I address that in my new application cos I m confused Being a fiancee isnt a marital status. That means that there is no place in an immigration application to indicate the seriousness of a relationship except you are married or in a common law situation. Not claiming your son the first time around, may mean that you can NEVER claim him again as your child except you try to fix it now. |

sim2003: How do I prove that I have a son as a single man in my next application? That was the reason I didnt include him initially. Help, the program starts in May They didnt ask you to prove anything. They only said include the name of all your dependents. You may probably want to thread with caution as this could be grounds for misrepresentation. Except a case where the father just recently became aware that he has a son for the first time since his last application. Meaning if the child is a recent information to you, then it isnt misrepresentation, but if you knew and suppressed that information in your previous application, it is misrepresentation. Ignorance of the law isn't an excuse |
