Please guys, do agencies verify certificates and other credentials before issuing out APLs or is it after APL issuance?

I don't know about that but they've been laying off workers for different reasons since last year. Maybe they are doing that to create space for employment of technical staff.

They actually laid off people with forged certificates, fake results and people who committed unforgivable crimes within the agency. Some people forged signatures and stamp. They may not call it recruitment but they'll replacement. Actually they're short of technical staff and people with SPACE related certificates.

Many DGs are already terrified. Adding thousands of ghost workers while people are unemployed. Maybe it's why APLs have been flying recently from some MDAs. More to fly

The ongoing MTEF is exposing a lot of agencies especially on personnel cost. Many ghost workers running into billions. Many agencies may begin to release APLs or do urgent back door backdated appointments to close their gaps.

It's still on course. APL is ready but hasn't dropped though.

Take the offer. It's a research institute. The Salary is modest as obtained in other research institutes.

Exactly. The implication is that nobody will use embargo as excuse not to help people. FG is understaffed especially in education sector.

President Muhammadi Buhari has lifted the long embargo placed on all federal government organizations.

According to the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria, the Head of service of the federation, Folashade Mejabi Yemi made this known on Saturday.

According to her, Buhari lifted the embargo to enable the teeming youths of Nigeria get employment in a bid to tackle insecurity in the country.

She assured that all federal government parastatals especially education has been granted approval for mass recruitment.

Similarly, the Minister of Labour, Dr Chris Ngige said Buhari is keen on employing Nigerian youths in various federal government agencies, and as a result, the embargo on employment had to be lifted to reduce the high level of economic hardship amongst the teeming Nigerian youths.

Just be hopeful. Now that the embargo on employment has been lifted across all MDAs officially by the president. All MDAs have been given approval to recruit massively. So they may still continue

It's for technical aid corps. Mostly lecturers who will teach in countries like Niger, Chad, Mauritania, Jamaica, Benin Republic, Togo etc. I think it was advertised or so

They created a new centre in one of the northern states. So they will need additional manpower to work in the new centre.

The APL hasn't been shared. What is keeping it is what we do not know at the moment though. I've replied

Replacement is a done deal. I think about 100 plus. I don't know for the fresh recruitment due to approval.

Sometimes, names will be compiled while waiting for approval. Some agencies receive CVs months even before approval. Then when approval is granted, they will add final touches to favour top people in government. But then, there are replacements and fresh recruitments. Some agencies carry out replacement internally without necessarily seeking approval especially if the number to be taken is very small.

The former DG Prof. Seidu's death really affected the replacement plan. Hopefully they'll still come around.

Embargo was on general recruitment but FCC will give approval soon or may have done so already. I was talking about replacement which takes place before recruitment.

@Hussen24, @Mohit007 and others, please what's the latest on NASRDA? Inside sources confirmed that APLs are ready for replacement. Do you guys have a clearer idea on the matter? I heard the death of the former DG affected the process

NASRDA is still compiling names from a reliable source. I head August is ripe for APL. Mohit, Hussen and Firmjudge may have a better answer though

No specific date but I think they'll have the replacement before the general recruitment. This August all things being equal but I'm not certain. The DG is too slow

Please house, is there any update from NASRDA? I was told replacement would be carried out since March but nothing has been done in that regards yet. Please anyone with useful info?
