To the Mod who took this to the front page after I pleaded, thank you and God bless! To everyone providing advice, thank you so much. I hope my friend gets some help! |
Sunofgod:My friend was cleared by the hospital after resignation. In fact, that statement was made in the request letter written to demand the outstanding salary. If the hospital feels they are being owed, they wouldn't have done clearance. |
Coldshisha:But this is quite expensive! |
In the case of a friend, she worked in a hospital located in Lagos mainland. They owe salary like no man's business, currently owing their staff 8 months. Please who has experience in collecting debt from a big organisation? |
At least they honour their employees. A certain "big" hospital located on the mainland in Lagos is owing the staff 8months salary. This life no just balance. |
Hello, Nairaland family. Please help a friend of mine who forwarded this to me: I need some help/advice. I worked in private organisation but resigned last year. The organisation is a hospital and owes the staff salary. Currently, they are owing their staff about 8months salary. After I resigned last year, they still held on to my one month salary. I have visited there on various occasions, but it's all falling on deaf ears. The hospital is very big and well known in Lagos, yet they give excuses that they do not make money. Please, kindly advise me how to collect this money they have been owing me for months. I don't even want to start mentioning that they don't pay for pension even after deducting it from people's salary. Talk of daylight robbery! Please help! Mods, please take this to the front page. Help is really needed. I can't believe that people who risk their lives will be treated in this manner. |
MizTyna: Also, for those having issues with their orders or phone, kindly PM meOrdered since friday,no show. If no reply from konga tomorrow,i'll walk into Slot and pick up another phone. No time for sme-sme. |
Please i need a reply urgently. Has the sale of forms for Masters degree programme ended in UI? Masters in public health is my point of interest. |
Very wrong. Thinking about it is disgusting. Not all males. Oh well, certainly not me. |
Chai! Humiliation of the highest order. Patrick Sawyer, you see wetin you cause? Mad man! |
I doubt if its a lecturer. Probably students playing pranks. |
disloman: e dey pain?now I knw kalvan1000 is doing a great job.Indeed. I hope it feeds his malnourished body. |
The height of joblessness. An individual with a well fulfilled life will not waste precious time with inconsequential matters. |
Working in the Nigerian Civil service is a modern way of stealing with boldness and audacity. |
Na wa ooo. Stuuupid child! The kids must have been very unintelligent and lacked smartness to make a success and decided to blame their misfortune on their poor mum. Sad. |

eaglechild: Doctors are on strike.Sorry to say this, the person who told me is a doctor. Met him in a restaurant when we had this discussion in Owerri. I'm not saying second hand stories. Doctors are on strike but some of them are still seen in the hospital premises . The truth is that doctors ran away. Stop blaming health care workers, even though they also avoided the patients too. |
Ashantiking: Why should I take salt water bath? Let's see if we will hear of any survivor of the alleged ebola victims.Ewwwww! Such a sadist. So you assume that all cases will end in death? I'm sure the female doctor will survive it,and others who present themselves early. Keep your pessimistic views to yourself bro. I don't need such presently. |
Ashantiking: Don't u find it strange that as soon as they tell us that someone has ebola the next thing that comes after is the person is dead.I repeat, say what you know. If u are ignorant of facts, just keep quiet rather than assume! I have first hand info that the nurse only made people aware of her situation when it had gone really bad. The case of Patrick Sawyer,he kept denying every contact with ebola. His sister died three weeks before. He was already coughing blood when he came to Nigeria, which means the disease had progressed fast. With people having this kind of poor mentality,i really doubt the quick control of this situation. The female medical doctor is stable because she was smart enough o alert the medical officials on time. Early detection is the best. I am sure you had your bath with salt water yesterday? |
InvertedHammer: /Lol. Who no like him life? ![]() |
@ Ashantiking, please say what you know. Is the doctor dead yet? @ Topic,i got some iformation yesterday that the children were taken to FMC Owerri but the doctors all ran away. Some stakeholders should pls confirm if it is true. I heard this from a doctor working at FMC Owerri. God help us. |
back2sender,you seem to have first hand knowldege about this. Do you work in that hospital? |
