if the yardstick that is being used to determine literacy is strictly ability to speak and write English language correctly, then more than half of Investment bank executives worldwide who are known to have IQ of above 180 and can do complex quantitative problems without taking up a pen much less a calculator will definitely fall under the illiterate class!

One only becomes illiterate in English if he can't even read in English. . . .and individual whose ability is limited to reading sentences constructed in English cannot in any way be described as an illiterate in English!

As an example, I'm a fun loving adventurous guy, pretty much the best person anyone could ever come across. . . .but sometimes, all i need is a fresh breathe, and some space. . .i want to come up with my own solutions to my problems. . . .and i don't want friends offering all sorts of sympathy, unsolicited helps and phone calls. . . . i just want a damn space to think . . .that shouldn't be too much to ask!
