FL Gators: Technically, yes. Illiterate in English. You can't communicate in the global world with just your language. The world is global, my dear. It does not begin or start at the boundaries of your village [not your village, talking in general]
But are you generally illiterate, nah. if the yardstick that is being used to determine literacy is strictly ability to speak and write English language correctly, then more than half of Investment bank executives worldwide who are known to have IQ of above 180 and can do complex quantitative problems without taking up a pen much less a calculator will definitely fall under the illiterate class! One only becomes illiterate in English if he can't even read in English. . . .and individual whose ability is limited to reading sentences constructed in English cannot in any way be described as an illiterate in English! |

whiteroses: try to keep calm, some people are short tempered like that, you wont do yourself any favour if you snap at people so often its the most unattractive ting in the world I doubt if this is a case of short temper! As an example, I'm a fun loving adventurous guy, pretty much the best person anyone could ever come across. . . .but sometimes, all i need is a fresh breathe, and some space. . .i want to come up with my own solutions to my problems. . . .and i don't want friends offering all sorts of sympathy, unsolicited helps and phone calls. . . . i just want a damn space to think . . .that shouldn't be too much to ask! |

Police sources revealed to reporters on yesterday that the Police Command failed to track down the robbers because the state Commissioner of Police, Bala Magaji Nasarawa, was out of the state attending the Inspector General of Police’s (IGP’s) conference in Abuja that day. what a dumb thing to say. so whenever the commissioner is out of town, the Police becomes useless? |
