naijaking1: "CBN wants to convert our foreign reserves to Chinese Yuan" , then one reads the body of the text? After reading the article 90% of primary 6 pupils wouldn't make the assertion you're making above. The title never quantitated the amount or percentage of the reserve being "yuanized", but you, in your biased opinion is reading it for what it's not. The caption is 100% correct, because it didn't need to specify the percentage to make an unbiased heading. What could have make you happy? CBN wants to convert 30%(20%, 40%, or 60%) of our foreign reserve to chinese yuan? While these are possible ways to expand the title to fully represent the article, why do you chose to insinuate that Papabrowne meant 100%, and not 30, 40, 10, or even 60%. Once again, you're looking from a colored lens, so your reality is actually unreal. Are you just trying to be funny? The damn heading is clearly misleading as it sounds. |

Missy B: –adjective 1. unable to read and write: an illiterate group. 2. having or demonstrating very little or no education. 3. showing lack of culture, esp. in language and literature. 4. displaying a marked lack of knowledge in a particular field: He is musically illiterate
The word 'Illiterate' isn't limited to one who's unschooled. Pay me for this work.
Forgive ma offtopic, poster. I reckon this is an important issue.
As long as English Lang. is concerned, she's ignorant in that field. . . .and that [Ignorant] is a synonym of 'Illiterate'- if it makes the explanation easier 4 You. You are just so adorable!. . . If you read the highlighted part again, then you'd prob realize that it doesn't say you require an "expertise" in a particular field, it says as long as you don't display a "marked lack of knowledge", then you really aren't an illiterate as long as the field is concerned I'm betting the chic in question is able to read and understand things written in english, her only problem is composition, that, to me, isn't a "marked lack of knowledge". if you are unable to understand this 屁話 , then you have a " marked lack of knowledge" in Chinese, and therefore you might be called a "Chinese illiterate" P.S. . . i'd invoice you my bills, i charge by the hour, you can pay in kind if you wish |

Missy B: As much as You might be trynna make the situation seem easy for the poster, it would be grammatically correct if anyone calls her an illiterate. It's not an insult . . . .It's just what it is. Nope! . . .you're wrong! il·lit·er·ate adja Unable to read and write. b. Having little or no formal education. If she's able to read and write in any other language, be it Arabic, Yoruba, Hausa, Ibo, french, spanish. . .etc etc, then she isn't an illiterate. There are top Investment Bank executives who find speaking or writing English an uphill task!. . . |

Onchedu: Why girls assume there is such a thing as a man that can't get a girl because karma has caught up with him amuses me. Old or young, tall or short, thin or fat, wiked or kind, generous or stingy, good or evil, there will always be girls that would want that guy and even more that would think: "I can change him" or "he will change for me."
I'm not in support of the guy that said something like this above, albeit in a very immature and crude manner. I'm just stating reality.
The guy had a way with chics in school and had them as often as this postee wants us to believe, then he still has it in him;
Unless of course he got struck by lightening and now has amnesia as a result of the accident. darn right!!! |

To say that Israel fears Iran is nothing but a smoke screen, Israel has more than enough weapons to wipe Iran of the map many times over.
It's ironic that SA is more worried about getting nuked by their "muslim brothers" in Iran than by Israel.

thats your opinion.for me id rather have my electricty. Besides if you are in UK i doubt if you can keep count how many thirteen year old mothers are enjoying the freedom that comes with having a baby at 13. Such a retard! He'd rather have electricity than fight against child abuse! Such a dolt! So in your own words, it only becomes a problem if such a thing doesn't happen in the UK? What a móron! One wonders what studies you'd have to back your claims if he had married a 7 year old instead! what a dimwit! What is he going to try next after "divorcing" the 13 year old child, a nine year old; then a new born baby? I say, jail the bastar'd Yerima! You re wrong sir, i say the bástard be hanged and his dead body shot! |

Onchedu: Encouraging a shy guy? Hmmm, I think if U just showed him U like having him around and U enjoy being around him would do. Smile, show excitement, voice some jealousy when there's an "intruder" in your midst. Talk to him a lot about anything and everything. Speak softly to him.
Lots of ways. Heading out now. Later. Seun really ought to make a "like this" button!, . . . @OP: you really can just go abt it in a subtle manner that doesn't give you off as desperate. ---Don't make him feel uneasy whenever he's around you ---Laugh at even his silly jokes ---Ask him to tell you a secret, then use the opportunity to ask further questions ---Tell him you'd like to go to the beach, and ask him to take you! |

kibra4u: Guys don't always believe what this so called Hon. or what ever they call themselves always say. Why now? Are they just knowing this? Simply because there is some kind of misunderstanding amongst them which could involve huge money settlement or positions in the house, they are now letting Nigerians know how bad Demeji Bankole is and the need to impeach him. Remember the case of Obasanjo vs Atiku, if not for the misunderstanding between them will Atiku expose Obj and his plans over third term. They are all corrupt. Think Guys, Think. So what will you recommend we do? who cares if there is a misunderstanding amongst them or not?---- all the better for us! Isn't it better that all parties concerned have a really big fight and all sorts of looting that had been swept under the carpet become exposed to the public? Are we now to ignore the facts that Bankole did all those things he was alleged to have done, simply because in your own words "there is some kind of misunderstanding amongst them" and they have chosen to let the cat out of the bag?---isn't it high time we saw the cat itself? they are all corrupt, yes, but in my books, its all the better for us if they washed their dirty linens in the Public and we all know the real thieves who have been having an eden-moment with taxpayers money! |

Yeah, that makes sense. trust me if Jayz did beat someone up like Chris Brown did, he'd be denied visa as well |
