US singer Chris Brown has been forced to postpone his UK tour after being denied a visa to enter the country, it has been confirmed. Brown was refused permission on the grounds of being guilty of a serious criminal offence, the Home Office said. He was sentenced to a community service order for assaulting his ex-girlfriend, singer Rihanna, last February. The musician was due to play three UK concerts, starting in Glasgow on Wednesday night. Two further dates in London, Birmingham and Manchester had also been planned, along with a concert Cork, the Irish Republic which has been shelved too. Tour promoters SJM confirmed the concerts have been postponed "due to unforseen circumstances".They advised concert-goers to hold onto their tickets as there would be "possible re-arranged dates". Sony Music also confirmed that the singer's tour has been postponed "due to issues surrounding his work visa". "Chris looks forward to performing for his fans abroad in the near future and thanks them for their continued support," it added. Brown had posted on his Twitter feed that he had been denied entry to the UK, but the entries were subsequently removed. In a statement, the Home Office said: "We reserve the right to refuse entry to the UK to anyone guilty of a serious criminal offence. Public safety is one of our primary concerns. OUR VISION , To make ogun state an Industrial hub, economically vibrant, peaceful, politically and culturally harmonious, and socially secured, where tolerance and rule of law are entrenched.big hiss! Isn't this the same trash every bigot says before coming around with a big ghana-must-go bag to loot? I can swear down i have heard those lines word for word from many past politicians who are now either neighbors with Bode George, or will soon be {by God's grace}. What exactly qualifies this dude as a governor? How has be bettered the life of an average Nigerian as a chairman? The fact that he even had someone as unruly as you { the poster} who would rather much revile when confronted with simple questions, as a campaigner shows the kind of company this governor probably keeps. I don't know who the dr bla bla bla is and i seriously don't care if he existed to begin with, but from the sounds of things, he's prob just another one of those thugs we pray never to see again! PS. Here is a tip, and i'm giving it free of charge {you can thank me later} If you prob trying to win people's vote for this guy of yours, do so with some level of decent English devoid of insulting terms |

the first interview is prob going to be competency based and it might be a panel interview. They'd ask questions based on the qualities required for the role you applied for. Expect questions like " Tell me about a time you made a difficult decision" "Tell me about a time you set yourself a goal" "Tell me about a time you were able to convince someone" if you had applied to a more technical position, then you may have to prep for technical questions like "How many dentist are there in Ireland" but most importantly, you should research about the company and the role itself, check if there are facebook groups, you can also make good use of likedin. |
