Godwin Daboh the fearless old warrior from Benue. If anyone is bold enough to say it, it has to be him. Daboh has taken a firm position. He needs the support of the civil society and democracy groups. It is not enough for them to collect dollars in sponsorship fees and go to sleep.

For those who dont know Daboh, he was the one who slept with one of Obasanjo's wives while he was in jail and was brave enough to tell the media about it. Anyway when the old man got out of prison his first order of business besides thanking God was kicking out the woman (not sure what her name is now).

and that is supposed to be a defining character for a man of integrity? . . .if anything, no one should ever take him serious!. . .sleeping with another person's wife is the lowest level of moral class one could ever step to!

i share a somewhat different view from the many others who have commented earlier on!


First, .i think it is morally unfair, to adopt a child just to ease the stress of "waiting" for your own baby. . . . .it's no less different than going out with someone just to relieve yourself of emotional heartbreak from a relationship.

Second, i think adoption has its own dangerous sides. Adopting a baby means you are bringing a total stranger into your house, you have no idea whatsoever, who his/her parents are, the kind of genetic disorders that may or may not be prevalent in his/her parental lineage, the sorts of religious/spiritual backgrounds the babie's original parents had!

Bringing such babies to live and become part of your family to grow up and mix with your kids is definitely something you want to be sure about!

I must be the only person who thinks these lines aren't funny!

I don't know if this counts as a gift but its by far the dumbest,

I had this toaster who came to see me at home (his first time visiting) and on his way he called me to tell me he got me something nice, I wondered why he was going through the trouble, coz it wasn't like I expected him to bring anything along.

Anyway, he got to my house and as we walking into the house, he goes like "oh one second I left your gift in the car". He came back only for him to hand me 1 chocolate bar (can't remember if it was mars, twix or sneakers), in my mind I was like wtf? 1 chocolate bar? Why did u even bother?

I didn't say nothing to him tho, I jst smiled as he handed it to me, as soon as he left I jst called my lil brother gave him the gist, and just gave him the chocolate bar.

Maybe its me, but I just felt it was soooo wrong!!!
