What a lying silly boy you are.

You were just checking google?. . . .and you seem this interested in a blog you really don't have an input in?

As in, most people i know wouldn't display this much interest about some random blog, found while checking google

just tell us "hey guys, i made a blog for the late President, check it out and tell me what you feel"

That way, you would have come how really clean and honest, there aint no big deal in it!
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by violent(m): 9:04am On May 07, 2010
The nonchalant attitude that has been displayed towards the thread so far has shown that all parties concerned are only interested in taking us on a ride.

PT consult: refused to respond to  any of the accusations, albeit realizing the gravy consequences!, i'd believe he prob is just a really shady fella who doesn't deserve the patronage of any rational customer.  I doubt if he has scammed anyone yet tho.

RAWE45 & BAFAMS: Taking other members of a forum who are willing and eager to lend a helpful hand for a jolly ride is simply pathetic, you guys really don't deserve our attention, time or energy. It only shows a total lack of credibility on your part.

I'd like to suggest that the administrator has a means of running background checks on dealers as well as have a comprehensive and valid details of anyone that is willing to advertise on this site.
Even though it is buyers beware as claimed, given the fact that the site is a private site, an individual who gets scammed can probably name the admin of the site as an accomplice in a suit
It's really important that we should be careful when having to deal with an anonymous dealer on a big forum as this.

it seems Pt consult has chosen not to give a damn about this whole thing, he's probably getting more confident that he can hide behind the faceless web!

I'd suggest that Beecrofty upload the image of the copies of the teller payment receipt if possible, to confirm a genuine accusation.
AutosRe: PT Consult alleged to be Fraudulent by violent(m):
@ Owan and others:

If i can recall quite vividly, Freshmoney and I took on this Pt consult's case some months ago when he {Freshmoney} observed that the dude seem to be selling his cars minutes after they are advertised on the site to some faceless "non nairalander" and of course, you and i know things don't always work like that in the autos market.

It was however for the sake of peace that we decided to give the thread a rest, however, to my utmost dismay, i found out on the thread below how a member of the forum was screaming blood over a deal that went sour.

https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-419077.128.html

I felt it is therefore necessary for the sake of the integrity of this thread that we don't sweep such issues under the carpet.

Let's fish out Pt consults

Violent.

Just so perhaps you understand it better, if you ever will. The ruling party is the PDP. As it is now, no other party is capable of wrestling power from PDP EVEN if the election is free and fair. The other parties are disjointed and rag-tag. People like Atiku understand it and have since moved back to the PDP. Now the party in authority has deemed it fit to put in place a mechanism that will ensure fairness to all parts of the country, namely rotational presidency. The relative political peace we enjoy today is due to this and Obj has attempted to kill the joy that peace has brought by denying an agreement everyone knows exists. Any sane person would have noticed that Igbo clamour for presidency has died down considerably since rotational presidency came to be, simply because they now have the hope that someday they will be opportune to provide the national leadership. Now what will any reasonable Igbo do who have been crying against marginalization in the past? He will support that which provides the hope that he gets what he deserves, in time. Thus, my support for the North at this point is based on that and  is ACTUALLY not about IBB per se. So please keep you viewpoints to yourself, or at best express it without trying to convince me. You have met a dead end on this one.
Now i get your point, because it is entrenched in the PDP code, it has to be law!

you are really smart

Violent (just to indulge your brainless bulk a bit),

Sentiments and rationalizations aside, what makes anyone think  IBB is a slowpoke? What makes IBB despicable to you? Because he cancelled June 12 election purportedly won by a world renowned thief?

Let's get the argument straight, are you saying that the North has no right to continue ruling until 2015 per PDP arrangement or is it that IBB is the issue here? When I get the crux of your argument I might continue with you. . If it does not matter where the president comes from, why do we have rotational presidency? Why was Yoruba compensated for June 12? Why are Igbos crying of political marginalization? Why are Ijaws promising hellfire if Jonathan is not made Ag president? For now you are catching on straw and behaving like an incompetent nincompoop. You have nothing to argue here ok?
Isn't it sad that folks like you have come to accept the PDP's constitution as the National constitution?

Where exactly is rotational presidency inscribed in Nigeria's constitution?

lemme get you right. . . i'm supposed to say, "oh, a Yoruba man has ruled for 8 years, and therefore, i ought to vote for an Hausa man, not withstanding the person capacity, intelligence, and other leadership qualities"?. . i'm just supposed to vote for him simply because it's hausa's turn to rule?

And you actually expect Nigeria to move forward with this mentality?

So another capable Nigerian has to hold, simply because its not yet his tribe's turn to rule?----what a pathetic state of mind and sense of reasoning you posses

How does where the President comes from as opposed to what attribute the president possess to lead the country,  benefit you, tkb417 or I in any way?

And yes, sentiments aside, IBB has been at the Position before, without achieving anything, why give him another chance to ruin us?

When you keep doing the same thing the same way over and over again and you keep expecting a different result, wouldn't i be right to call you a dimwit?
PoliticsRe: Are We Redeeming Any Image ? Nigerian Banks And Their Adverts On Cnn by violent(m): 7:35pm On May 04, 2010
Some Nigerians watch cable, others don't.

Personally, i can't remember when last my folks actually checked LTV or OGTV!

It's just a way to seek global awareness! or why else do you think Lebara advertises on Nairaland?, it is a global village outside your window you know

It's also a means of signalling, banks are not only about opening of accounts, it signals strength to shareholders as well. . .a Zenith shareholder in Germany, will definitely perceive strength from Zenith's advert on CNN.

If as an example, as a naive investor, i'm interested in international diversification of assets, and my wealth manager has suggested looking into developing economies, if one of my sole interest is the Nigerian banking sector, i'm more likely to be swayed with sentiments towards a bank i have consistently heard on CNN's advertorial, than i am of a bank whose advert is solely directed towards the local markets

Yes, it does not have to be IBB, but a northerner deserves to rule till 2015 based on the PDP agreement. If, however the North has no other candidate and  present IBB to Nigeria, Igbos have no choice but to vote for him because a northern president at this time is the only way to ensure that Igbos have the opportunity to lead in the near future. Igbos have been sidelined since OBJ came in-typical Yoruba penchant- and it is only strategic that they do all they can to bring themselves back to reckoning. As a matter of fact, IBB has not done anything that others have not done-they have all looted, including OBJ, MKO, Tafa Balogun, Bode George and others. The difference may be that IBB helped stop the mother of all thieves, MKO from further milking the nation dry. Nigerians may yet be thankful to him. Those who think June 12 is a national issue should ask themselves why only Yorubas and a few non-Yoruba living in Lagos (Yoruba arse-lickers) are the ones still talking about it. Yoruba have been compensated for June 12 with OBJ and that should rest the issue of thief MKO for life.
You really need to grow another brain cell, the only one you have is likely to be overworked.

It baffles me to think, folks who will like to lay claims to being called intellectuals, find it tedious to make any form of intelligent argument.

And all this dimwit has to say is that, if the north presents us with another slowpoke, or even just anybody without basic leadership qualities, he'd gladly cast his vote because in his own words "the north deserves to rule till 2015", and that in turn, will give the Igbo people a chance to lead in the near future. . . . . . and therefore, if the North presents him with a dictator and a thief who has robbed Nigerians of every dividends of democracy, as well as looted the country's treasury, he'd sheepishly vote for him, after all that is the only way the Igbo can "have a chance to lead"

My dumb friend will never recognize the fact that it matters not where the President comes from, when President Yaradua was active in the line of duty, in what ways, pray tell, did he benefit Hausas over the rest of the country with his Policies?

likewise for the OBJ led government, has it in any way bettered the life of Yorubas more than the life of Igbos or Hausa?

You keep voting crooks into power just because of your st'pid "our people" mentality and the next day you expect Power and more jobs, such tall expectations i say!

I will like to recommend a copy of this for you, it's the least i can do as a fellow Nairalander!

Foolish boy. You do not understand politics. And Nigeria is already a sinking ship. You can just look at Nairaland and see how ethnicity plays a huge role in people's lives. I am Igbo first and foremost and Ikemba will always be the greatest Igbo leader we have ever seen. While your people were joining forces with the Hausa to slaughter my people like sheep, he came to the defense of my people so shut up.

I could care less what happens in politics. As long as it does not interfere with my money or my people's money. You Yorubas, Hausa and other groups can worry about the politics, but we Igbos have learned that it is best to rule a nation through the finances then trying to grab for power.

We have paid dearly with over 2 million Igbos souls who perished not too long ago.
I think i ve overestimated your intelligence when i called you a dimwit.  You sir, are too daft to be called a goat.

I don't understand politics and yet, you are the half brained, who sees everything from a myopic ethnic point of view----soooo pathetic.

One would wonder if we might ever witness any generation where people will stand up not because of which tribe or race they belong, but because they simply are Nigerians and the future of generations unborn is at stake.

The dimwits we have been unfortunately blessed with, as neighbors, and fellow Nigerians, are comfortable as long as it is an Ndigbo that is in power, not withstanding if the so called Ndigbo is a rogue, to them, "its okay, he's our son"

Damn pathetic!

For some reason I do not believe Ojukwu said this. The news in Naija cannot be trusted.

But if Ojukwu said this, it must be because he has a plan up his sleeves. Anything to spite the Yoruba I guess. The enemy of my enemy is my friend.  cool
What a dimwit and demented fellow you are. I'd bet you were brought up amidst low IQ individuals.

I doubt if you had any form of formal education, or worse still, if you are even capable of any intelligent process.

So, you'd sheepishly go along with Ojukwu's plan, since he's probably doing it to spite Yoruba people?
. . . . and that is going to make Nigeria one of the world's top economies in the next 5 years?

In other words, Ojukwu is as dumb as you are to pledge his support and supposedly all Igbo people's support all because of his personal vendetta and not because he's seen something brilliant in the candidate?

Let's even for once assume Ojukwu himself becomes the President, is that going to make you 5 dollars richer?

Such a blatant nincompoop. What right does anyone have to stop another from contesting? Go to the polls and contribute your single vote that may or may not mar anything. IBB is a crook but so are the others. What are Abiola family they singling him out for then, when we know MKO himself was a bigger thief? What was the value of Nigerian naira during IBB's time and what was it during OBJ's time and thereafter? Now you see how porous-brained you are?
Rantings of an ediot!

The same statement "Babangida will not be president" has been said over a million times already and the average Nigerian chew it all the time, the fact that the Abiola family is repeating it shouldn't be a problem.

i think wole soyinka is upset because this documentary will give some of his contemporaries at those elite institutions where he lectures  a license to sneer and smirk at him with his grandiose speech and irritating air of superiority.  They probably laugh at him behind his back wondering why he  puts on all these airs and graces when the poor in his country are reduced to scrabbling for scraps on rubbish heaps.  If indeed he is a true social critic as he likes to pretend he is he should not be offended by this expose but should welcome it as a refreshing new angle on how to expose a govt made up of brigands, thugs and drug barons.
I still can't believe my eyes, are people really this dáft or is someone just role playing a really really dáft personality?
PoliticsRe: Wole Soyinka Attacks Bbc Portrayal Of Lagos 'pit Of Degradation' by violent(m): 4:19pm On May 02, 2010
It is programs like this that makes the rest of the world see anyone from Nigeria as a poor wretch whose daily survival probably depends on picking waste from dumps.

Its even amazing that some Nairalanders who in all entirety, claim to have gone to school, find the program whose tittle portrayed the entire lagos citizenry as scavengers, good enough because in their own words "It is fabulous to show the poor ones amongst us to the rest of the world".

Why is it so difficult for BBC to tittle the program "welcome to the slums of Lagos"?

Who in his/her sound mind would dare go to china, make videos of the dirtiest places around and tittle it "Welcome to Shangai" without causing a serious diplomatic row?
