Taking a cue from the Legendary PapaBrowne, this is my 1000th post on Nairaland, and i am making it a milestone

We have a country of 150 million people, and some idiot only thinks the best way Nigeria can move forward is for a crook that set us back for many years to come back into power.

Now i'm more than convinced that people's idiocy knows absolutely no boundaries.

Many will never think of what is or what is not best for the country, they'd rather stick to thinking along stúpid ethnic lines, who cares if Babginda is Igbo or chinese, personally i dont give a flying rat's arse, its just absolutely unbelievable that someone wants him back in power.

He fúcked us once, it will be a shame and doom if we allow him again.


And stop being retards, comparing him to Obasanjo makes absolutely no sense in this case, Obasanjo failed us, we don't need another failure!

Unfortunately enough, the prospects of getting a great job even after getting the certification is not so promising.

You should consider that you will probably be competing for the small job spaces with folks with bachelors and even Masters who have the certification alongside, the odds aren't so much in your favor, especially in a country like Nigeria that places so much emphasis on Academic degree, however, your Work Experience and your technical know how will be your leverage.

If you have the money, i will advise you enroll in a 3 year degree program {advisably at a private university} while you do your certifications on the other hand.

However, let's wait to hear what some folks have to say.

If you are looking to put your foot in the door, Prince2 might be a great idea, but if you have some experience, and you are looking to move up the ladder, then get an MBA.

MBA from a top US school sure beats Prince2 hands down anytime anyday.

LAGOS—THE Nigerian Stock market recovery was, last week, tagged the top among emerging markets raising hope that those who lost money through share purchases during the global financial crisis have a chance of recovering their losses at the Nigeria Stock Exchange this year if they have not sold their shares at give away prices.

A research conducted by Fund Managers in Europe and published by Bloomberg said that stocks in the smallest emerging markets were beating their larger peers by the most in almost five years and Templeton Asset Management Limited’s Mark Mobius said they would continue to rally as consumer demand picked up. The Nigerian Stock Market was named as one of such top performers.
Hugh Young, who counts shares in Sri Lanka, Pakistan and Nigeria among the $232 billion of assets he helped to manage as head of equities at Aberdeen Asset Management Plc in Singapore said: “Given their gains, I would not say that we are finding screaming value in some of these markets now.”

The Nigerian capital market has grown by 33.26 per cent from the commencement of trading in 2010 till date, as investors enjoyed N1.66 trillion improvement on their investments at the Nigerian Stock Exchange.
In particular, analyses in the period under review, showed that the key performance indices, the All-share index and market capitalization, both rose within the period by 32 per cent and 33 per cent respectively, a record achievement by international bench mark.

The capitalization shot up to N6.649 trillion from N4.989 trillion recorded as at the open of trading in the year, while the index garnered 6,662.55 basis points to 27,489.72 points from 20,827.17 points.
Also significant improvement was recorded in all the major sectoral indices and blue chip index – the NSE 30 index. The NSE Food/Beverage index appreciated by 52.8 per cent to 804.78 points from 526.71 points at which it opened in the period under review.

The NSE Banking index rose by 35.81 per cent to 460.82 points from 339.32 points, NSE Oil/Gas index garnered 11.5 per cent to 321.15 points from 288.06 points at which it opened, while the NSE 30 index appreciated by 33.45 per cent to 1,104.93 points from 827.99 points at which it opened trading for the year.

I'm not a fan of Aondoakaa, far from it that i be associated with him, however, i believe its a little out of place that he be denied his freedom of movement, especially if he hasn't be charged for breaking the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

I'm sure if you guys read through the entire document, you must have learnt a thing or two, or at least understood something about Sharia better. So why the anger instead of appreciation?

The anger spells from the fact that anyone occupying such a sensitive position as Sanusi is capable of influencing a hundred possible a lot more others who see him as a role model, and in as much as i hold nothing against his personal belief, i still stand hold on to the fact that, preaching the Sahria law which is known to be associated with terrorist tendencies is not something to be appreciated.

When you cut off his hands, rather than seek programs that'd rejuvenate him or her, how then do you expect such a fellow to cater for future personal or family needs?. . . . of course, the fellow has to resort to taking alms which little should one wonder why the ever increasing surge in the number of street beggars with dismembered membranes.

Have you asked yourself the basics?

why does Sharia impose Islamic beliefs in a country with a group of people with diverse religious orientation?

About 8 months ago, I said Sanusi is better suited for the iman of Abuja mosque than the governor of the CBN.
But please await for his PR office to swing into action as soon as biina wakes in the morning

Quite honestly, i was part of the group who believed that his reforms are the best for the economy in the long run.  However, after reading his piece with an extremist view of Islam and his open support for Sharia,  I shudder at the thought of our economy being handed over to an Islamic fundamentalist who is not capable of exploring every rational and objective line of thought but will rather base his decisions on his own and possibly {the Quranic} view of right or wrong.

A leader shouldn't even be writing such article, in a country that sits on a keg of religious gun powder.

To say that am shocked at the utter display of unbelievable trash that i read up there by the CBN governor is to underestimate in the very least!

The Sharia should be opposed for its imposition of theocracy over democracy, its abuse of human rights, its institutionalized discrimination, its denial of human dignity and individual autonomy, its punishment of alternative lifestyle choices, and for the severity of its punishments.

What is needed is nothing less than the secularization of Islamic society, and the establishment of the idea that individual conscience must be our guide and the judge of personal, private conduct.

Sharia law is the instrument by which Political Islam seeks to control the Muslim world. Whilst the Sharia may have been inspired by the Holy Quran, it has developed and evolved through time and through the efforts of men. The Sharia should be open to analysis, research and criticism like any other system of law, practice and belief

When Political Islam really does advocate jihad to achieve world domination, then anyone deeply concerned with humanity and human rights will be critical. Of all the existing ideologies, Political Islam remains the greatest danger to humanity. Political Islam has been neither tamed nor moderated by progressive forces. It has the power to inspire the terrorist mind.

It's even a disgrace to think the head of an institution such as the central bank can compose such rubbish, how then are we sure that his modus operandi is not based on some personal vendetta or even worse from some beliefs inherent in the Quaran, where is objectivity in his line of reasoning?

What amazes me in this is that the said occupant refused to run out when their home got touched.

Now i guess the simple solution to prevent yourself from being butchered is to stay home even if your house is being razed down

And as for those screaming Jonathan's name, i really don't see how his presence could have curbed such situation.

What the government ought to do is to force Hausa, Fulani and Muslim leaders to condemn violence openly, many of these guys that take part in such unprovoked acts are sheep by nature, they listen to their leaders

Make a detailed report at the nearest Police Unit for Motor Vehicle Division and Accidental claims and take pictures of the vehicle.

Make sure you make the report immediately although before you get Police to corporate, you have to part with some dough !

You are even luckier since its a labelled truck, tell your to lawyer write to the company giving the reg number details and demanding that they take responsibility for the full cost of repair.

If they don't, seek legal means.

But the first thing is to make a detailed and comprehensive report!
