speedyboi: Not a brillant teaser per se, but a nice one! As usual, I've never liked the colour grading in Tunde Kelani's movies and this is not different!

BTW, was kemi Akindoju placed on diet to make her look like a sickler? huh huh huh. Chai....she looks lean in the movie, you would think she's really a sickler sad
At least u can notice an effort was made to make it look real. Films like this still give me hope for Nollywood.

RomanceRe: Cooking For Your Boyfriend In His House: Is It Right Or Wrong? by viruz007(m): 9:05pm On Dec 03, 2013
Most of you are just a big joke.

SO your in a relationship with your future partner / BF and going to just cook for him is now fornicationhuh Really?

Stop interpreting the WORD wrongly to suit your reasoning. If u know you will be tempted then do like someone said and cook and go give him or go cook when he's not around. Besides you cnt tell me if u define your rules from the word go that he won't take you serious.

If a man wants to use you and trash you, he will so please don't make wrong assessments.

Am still of the opinion that it's not wrong especially in today's world with the way both partners are leading busy lives.

If you want to do what is right, then women should not fend for themselves and let the man do all the work as it was stated in the beginning [now waiting for someone else to come and misunderstand what i just wrote.]

my 2 cents
TV/MoviesTrailer For Tunde Kelani’s Dazzling Mirage. A Brilliant Teaser Trailer. by viruz007(op): 2:47pm On Dec 03, 2013
one of the most anticipated movies of 2014 just got it’s trailer released. We are talking about Tunde Kelani’s Dazzling Mirage.

It tells the story of a talented, beautiful young sickle-cell sufferer overcomes social stigma, prejudice and her own low self-esteem, to achieve career success, marriage and motherhood.

It features A list stars such as Kunle Afolayan, Kemi Lala Akindoju, Taiwo Ajai Lycett, Yomi Fash Lanso, Bimbo Manuel, Ayo Badmus, Tosyn Bucknor and Carol King.

Its a beautiful trailer made by Awojide Olufemi and one of the best Nollywood trailers I have ever seen.

Soundtrack to trailer was awesome. What do you think?

Illuminatus: I understand that they're running a business, but if I can't afford it, I won't attend it. They've got to understand the damonic condition of the country and try as much as possible to suit the income per captia of Nigerians. If they produce a movie that can be favourably compared to the likes of Avatar, tag the tickets for 2000, some people will see the movie, but majority of the populace won't because they can't afford it. They'd rather wait for the pirated copy in DVD format. But if the price is within the range of 300 and 700, lots of people will definitely see the movie, assuming the problem of few cinemas is solved.
U have to also understand that getting the tapes cost a lot. I perfectly understand you sha. Just trying to shed an insight

Illuminatus: Stop comparing the price with what Americans pay. They're more opportuned and less inflated. We're just different economically.
i have friends there who go to see movies only on days it's cheap so get that mentality of being ripped off removed. U want better thing, u gotta pay for it. This guys run a business so please understand that.

very funny topic/ How can u think of not cooking for your bf now and then? That's the height of pride. Am still saying all this 21st century women thinking na im dey affect babes of nowadays. Cook for him once in a while or as ur schedule allows u and if he's a good man, he will always appreciate u and will never forget u even if tinz don't go according to plan. It's the little tinz that matter.

Me i like to chop so i appreciate any lady be it friend or gf [currently single sha] that goes out of her way to bring a prepared meal for me or comes and cook for me. So i dnt have an issue with it.

My 2 cents grin
TV/MoviesRe: Will You Pay To Watch A Nigerian Cinema Movie? by viruz007(m): 11:25pm On Nov 26, 2013
lynx200: As a scriptwriter and budding producer, I have noticed a disturbing trend. Most Nigerian movies that have been taken to the cinema in the last two years have hardly made the money invested in them which is driving away a lot of investors. At the typical Nigerian cinemas hardly anybody is ready to pay N1000 or more to watch a Nigerian movie that is not well publicized.(There are a few exceptions like "the meeting"wink Most cinema patronizers are from the upper middle and upper classes that turn up their noses at Nigerian movies whereas the true fans of these movies are in the high density areas. (Research have shown that Silverbird cinemas Uyo have the highest turnover for Nigerian movies)
Our company Dreamplay entertainment wants to show quality and cinema standard Nigerian movies in high quality venues in these low density areas (in multiple locations) starting with Lagos so we are doing some preliminary market research. Please answer the following questions as truthfully as possible.

1. Would you be willing to watch a well shot Nigerian movie at the cinema?
2. How much would you be willing to pay to watch such movies since we all agree that N1,500 for cinema ticket prices is a rip off.
3. If you stay in certain high density areas in Lagos like Mushin, Ajegunle, Ikotun etc will you go to a cinema there?
4. We intend to publicize these movies through social media. Will you willingly follow the exploits of the movie and its stars online?
5. We intend to book cinema viewers through the internet/social media. Would you be willing to book a cinema seat online?
6. Would you want to pay for your cinema ticket online, through your phone, ATM card or with cash at the gate?

Thank you for your anticipated response. If you have other questions you want to ask please let us know.
1. After my last experience watching a nigerian movie in SB Uyo, it would take a serious move for me to watch 1. Am a movie blogger/critic and i was appalled by what i saw in the movie Covert Operation. If the movie is as good as Mr & Mrs, den am good to go.

2. Can't pay 1,000 sef for 9ja film am sorry. 500 max. N/B 1500 is not a rip-off cuz outside the country it's quite expensive.

To the rest of ur questions, just buzz me at my blog, facebook page, twitter handle and i will be sure to see the movie. Cheers. My blog address is in my signature, twitter and FB handles are Dmoviereview. Cheers

Psychedelia: Crysis 2 ran so smoothly on my laptop. It was made using CryEngine, and was fully supported by my nVidia graphics card.

Errrr... Unfortunately, the GAME itself was a total phucking bore IMHO. Couldn't even finish it. It was just too damn boring. I only stopped at that level where The Prophet had escaped the military base and gotten to the ruined New York City... Exactly at that busted elevator that seemed to have some melted human mass scattered across its walls. The game bored me to tears, dude.
I don't think the Part 3 is gonna be any different.

FIFA '14 still doesn't have Naija in it, so I'mma sit it out and wait until they've released the patch containing Naija...maybe na next year e go happen.

Dead Space 3? I got Dead Space 2 around late August. Completed it mid September; and while it's a nice game, the final sequence pissed me off because it appeared the hero was overwhelmed by the other beastly creature hiding in the space ship. Save for Rise Of Legends, this game na de FIRST game wey I see say actor die. What the phuck?

Tomb Raider? Hell no, bro. I stopped phucking with Lara Croft in 2003. I can't go back, no matter how improved she may appear.

Assassins' Creed 4 is the shhitt. It's on my bucket list, yo! Grand Theft Auto 5 as well!

Right now, I only have 3 games of 2013 I can consider epic:

Grand Theft Auto 5
Assassins' Creed 4
Diablo III

That's it! cool
Me i beg u to give Tomb raider a try please cry

shymexx: Perhaps, if your IQ wasn't in the 10th decimal, you would understand that "dry run" should give you a glimpse into what the main event would look like. Ever been to a rehearsal before?

Or do you want me to post pictures of "dry run" to notting hill carnival to show you how colourful and nice it's?

Bruv, I already said you lot should stop quoting me. Said what I need to say and the revenge has been served cold.

Enjoy ya carnival! undecided
Dude or chick... Please keep calm... Calabar's Dry Run is never anything like the main thing. I have been to the carnival consistently for the last 3 to 4 years so i know what am talking about. Don't go ahead and be hating. It's just pure shitty behaviour. Comments like yours are y the foreigners will keep on degrading Nigeria.
