Being governor of Lagos successfully is like ruling mini-nigeria. Tinubu's clout before he became president was immense. Obi and Amechi don't have such. They can't carry the weight of Nigeria. Forget chochocho. Atiku even with his short comings and northern domination entitlement is far ahead of Obi and Amechi in terms of capacity. The weight of managing Nigeria is immense - economy, tribal, religion, security, corruption, foreign interests, class interests etc.

Some of the above are not common in many countries. For example many countries don't have tribal and religious issues. These are two major ropes holding Nigeria.

Irrationality is a disease. You want to hold a national convention and several states have not had their congresses to elect those that will attend. You excluded them and went ahead.

A prominent member of the party wanted to collect form to contest for chairmanship but you denied him his membership right. The two groups that I mentioned above went to court to enforce their rights and the two separate courts issued an order stopping the convention. Rather than obey you went to Oyo State High Court to obtain a counter order. The court by law has no jurisdiction over INEC that should recognize your convention.

Bukola Saraki the leader of your reconciliation committee advised that the convention will be a nullity and that formation of a caretaker committee will be more helpful but you refused because of ego and went ahead and had Amala convention.

The appeal court has confirmed that what is glaringly wrong is actually wrong. You and your cohorts are all over the place accusing the courts of compromise. Are you for real?

The difference is that I'm apolitical and think more rationally devoid of politics and tribe. You judge a manager by what he took over and what he has made of it. An economy that is import dependent, subsiding her exchange rate and major energy product. All the subnationals owing months of salaries and unable to run their operations. The country owing backlogs of fx obligations. In all these the net foreign reserve was mere $3 billion is technically dead and bankrupt.
