Guyman02: Voter aparthy is now so bad that only 7% of registered voters came out to vote in the last offseason elections in FCT, Rivers and Kano states. This is why most Igbos preferred Abacha to the Taqiyya sold to Nigerians by Tinubu led NADECO democracy activists who are currently ruling the country and messed up the democracy they claim to have fought for. This was different. After so many years of military rule Nigerians were enthusiastic to witness civilian rule. Many hadn't witnessed election from birth. That's the reason for the large turnout. |

Image123: That year when we all had hope of OBJ prison to palace. Turned out as the sanctimonious leopard that couldn't change his spots. God gave him the biggest opportunity on all sides and he failed Nigeria. We were on same level with UAE at this point if not ahead. Very correct my brother. They looked for unwilling president and gave it to him. Primary school headmaster. His ministers just like Jonathan had a field day. Nigeria would have been another nation now if they had allowed Awo to win. Nigeria's problem started te te and OBJ had hand in them. The north used him. |

gidgiddy: Thats because there were only two people running for President, and both were Yoruba
Do you think Yoruba's would have voted Tinubu if Tinubu and Osibanjo were the only two people running for President? OBJ was a political reject from his people because he rigged the 1979 election in favour of Shagari. He was constantly mocked that he had no political base. In 2003 he went on overdrive using federal might to muscle the entire West. Only Tinubu in Lagos resisted him. |

SlavaUkraini: Those were the days of Free and Fair elections...
Just like the June 12 Presidential election...
What we have today is a sham and electoral somersault often called elections...
Where you see results from Imo appearing in Jigawa....
Where Wike and his foot soldiers will rewrite and manipulate election results and boldly tell you to go to court if you don't like what you see... Free and fair ke? Ask people with direct knowledge. Rigging started from PDP primary in Jos. The military and north had decided that the presidency should go to the West to pacify them for all that happened with June 12 1993. The main figures were OBJ and Falea. Falae was a technocrat and a typical awoist. The north and military saw OBJ as a lesser evil and everything was done to make him president. They rigged Ekwueme out in the Jos convention. |

qtx: It's characters like you that are keeping this country down on its knees. Listen to yourself, Tinubu did what in Lagos? am sure you dont even live in Lagos. We that lived in Lagos long before Tinubu became Lagos governor and up until now know those governors that truly developed Lagos. Tinubu did not come 30% near Fashola for instance. But all these your Baba sope mentality will not allow people like you to think straight. With all these claims of his experience, where has he led Nigeria to now? When you finish arguing, you go behind and start lamenting the state of insecurity, the economy, poor electricity, corruption etc in the country, right?. It's not your fault, because the internet has made it possible for even those who know nothing to have the opportunity to spew all that is in them. You are a baby 🐥🍼. I have lived all my life in Lagos. Since 1977 up till now I still live in Lagos. When you come to a public forum be a little humble because you don't know who is who. I will not reveal anything about myself because that will dignify you. Who dreamt and planned for greater Lagos? Have you ever known what VI and old Maroko used to look like when the lagoon overflow? Who discovered and gave Fashola the opportunity? Who made Fashola governor? Who insisted that his Lagos plan must be followed and turned out disciples that continually took over to ensure continuity? Under who did Lagos start to offer full free education in public schools from primary to secondary - free tuition, uniform, books, waec fees etc. Mind you I'm from Owerri so I'm not talking out tribal sentiment. Mind how you talk and behave in a faceless forum. It shows who you are. |

must you have a presidential experience to context presidential election? How na? When Tinubu contested in 2023 did he have the experience aside from the one he got as a governor and briefly as a senator? You are speaking with biased mindset. Being governor of Lagos successfully is like ruling mini-nigeria. Tinubu's clout before he became president was immense. Obi and Amechi don't have such. They can't carry the weight of Nigeria. Forget chochocho. Atiku even with his short comings and northern domination entitlement is far ahead of Obi and Amechi in terms of capacity. The weight of managing Nigeria is immense - economy, tribal, religion, security, corruption, foreign interests, class interests etc. Some of the above are not common in many countries. For example many countries don't have tribal and religious issues. These are two major ropes holding Nigeria. |

I am concerned about the fate of the many inconsistencies in the oil sector. If the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu want to do away with the PIA he should send a Bill to NA so a proper reform can be carried out. The PIA is a law. why didn't he take the decision all by himself?
Then who is he talking to?
The way you people reason eh!

So the three tiers of government are paying for it. As subsidy has been withdrawal the same three tiers withdrew it and shared it amongst themselves. The whole country is aware of Wike's shenanigans and know Wike is wrong cos his anti party activities are glaring for all to see. However, being a minister of the fct where the highest of the courts seats, after building buildings upon buildings for judiciary, they will find a way to favor him till they too get what they want. Afterall, na friends and families be judges now.
Neway, the balls in the courts of Nigerians. In less than a year, they will have an opportunity rewrite the narratives. Submit to the current situation or explore other options. If you like, no vote cos you believe your vote won't count. It is still your loss. If you like vote, no defend your vote, na still your loss. Go out there and vote, then defend your vote. Tell you corrupt leaders you matter, you have a voice. TELL THEM YOU HAVE THE POWER. Else, na impoverishment just start Irrationality is a disease. You want to hold a national convention and several states have not had their congresses to elect those that will attend. You excluded them and went ahead. A prominent member of the party wanted to collect form to contest for chairmanship but you denied him his membership right. The two groups that I mentioned above went to court to enforce their rights and the two separate courts issued an order stopping the convention. Rather than obey you went to Oyo State High Court to obtain a counter order. The court by law has no jurisdiction over INEC that should recognize your convention. Bukola Saraki the leader of your reconciliation committee advised that the convention will be a nullity and that formation of a caretaker committee will be more helpful but you refused because of ego and went ahead and had Amala convention. The appeal court has confirmed that what is glaringly wrong is actually wrong. You and your cohorts are all over the place accusing the courts of compromise. Are you for real? |

AMINDA: As revealed by Makinde, the agreement to destroy the PDP to Tinubu's advantage was brokered in Aso Rock in the presence of Tinubu, Wike and Makinde. Every other thing is theatrics and this outcome has always been the plan. So much for the "fighters of democracy" and so-called NADECO activists. All of these efforts to destroy, undermine and intimidate opposition has never been seen under a democratic dispensation. It does not suggest the behaviour of someone who will willingly relinquish power in 2031 if they manage to win re-election. And all the so called opposition are so weak and daft that they can't resist all these. OBJ did worse but was resisted. I can't bank my naira on such spinless opposition. Stop this song that you have been singing for almost three years. It was the person that you kept insinuating that made Atiku to be greedy and go against party rules. The same person made Bala and Makinde to raise their ego to the sky and against two high court ruling held Amala convention. The same person made ADC to lack the ability to organize themselves and attract worthy persons to their party. Up till now they don't even have authentic membership register. Keep crying 😭😂 |
