Brendaniel: Why is he diverting his responsibility to the governors?
Is that the quality of a good leader? You don't understand political economy. It has layers. No matter what you do at the higher layer if the lower layer do nothing you can't have the desired results. The subnationals manage the microeconomy and the federal manages macroeconomy. It is not diversion of responsibility but political economic management. In management we call it common goal congurence. For example PBAT's decision concerning fuel subsidy and fx rate unification has freed more resources to the subnationals but he cannot control them on how they spend it. He can only advise. I took this efforts because all your writings portray hate. |

Brendaniel: Is this man a president or gester?
More like saying:
Nigerians, the middles east crises will cause inflation and reduce your purchasing power, since it is not my fault you people are on your own.
This is the first time I am seeing someone who claims to be a president but tries to avoid all the responsibilities of a president and still wants to enjoy all the benefits of a president. This is someone his supporters claimed he use 20 years to prepare to become president.
And the Nigeria of today is the result of that preparation, what if he didn't prepare? Your biased mind takes away your thought process. The president showed you that he recognizes the likely impact of global event on the economy. He was simply talking to the governors to prepare their minds for the likely event. That they should start thinking at the micro level of the likely mitigation while he thinks at the macro level. Does the above not show qualities of a sound leader to you but you are there writing chochocho because of hatred. |

Contrary to what his water carriers will have you believe, Tinubu does not still have the South on lockdown. That's Obi's turf. He has made some in-roads in the middlebelt but that can easily shift if he repeats his muslim-muslim ticket. Plus, the middlebelt will ALWAYS be divided, just like the Southwest. Where will his votes come from? From the governors who defected under duress, inducements and engineered crisis? Armchair analyst. Reality is different. |

The correct term is restraining order.
A restraining order is a legal order issued by a court to prevent someone from doing something—most commonly contacting or approaching another person. Efcc operatives are illiterates and you are professor. Congratulations 👏 |

Ofunaofu: When Nasir El-Rufai first said Bola Ahmed Tinubu was on the verge of becoming Nigeria’s Paul Biya, many dismissed it as just another political gimmick.
But Tinubu has effectively ruled Lagos by proxy since 2007, refusing to let go or allow the state to breathe. Now, as president, with over 30 governors in the APC with the criminal state capture of both the judiciary and legislature, security agencies and INEC, he seems firmly on that same path. What if your prophecy fail? What shall we do to you and the nose-ring wearing man? |

floss: Wow so because otti chose to have a conscience you’re now trying to take the credit ?
What of Edo state governor, why not mention him…. With or without subsidy removal any administration that knows what it’s doing doesn’t need 1year and 6months for the citizens to believe you’re on the right track… just like how otti have been able to prove to the people that they need to give him another 4years….
If Tinubu really wants to be the best president ever, he should quietly resign and go back to Lagos…. After 4 years instead of his works to speak for him, he still chose to repeat how he came into power… paying money…
The first time, it’s his money, but now, he’s recovered all he spent to come in and even is making that amount in a thousand fold… that’s where part of those subsidies went… Most states in Nigeria now are construction sites. States are paying salaries and pension as and when due. They are no longer borrowing to pay bills. Even formerly none performing governors like my state governor that you call supreme Court governor are beginning to improve. What is the secret? Do you think that Oti is stupid that at every opportunity he praises Tinubu's policies? Governance has been made easier to him through availability of money. He will steal some and still have more to show working. Our people must learn to separate hate from truth. |

tete7000: There is nothing to praise Tinubu for in removing subsidy, sane Nigerians have always known that subsidy ought to go, Tinubu and his apc gang weaponised and opposed it using it to ride to power only for them to turn around and begin to insist subsidy must go after they got to power and ran Nigeria economy into red. Can you trust a man with subsidy removal that: Inherited rich foreign reserves but blew it? That had so much in excess crude account but blew it? That couldn't provide infrastructure? That couldn't control his ministers? Deziani, Stella Oduah etc. That appointed a CBN governor like emefieli? That started borrowing again after OBJ cleared much of our external debts? That had high crude oil price but couldn't save nor provided infrastructure even to his village? That remembered subsidy removal in the middle of his regime when money has dried up? That increased petrol pump price but nothing to show for it? That ......... |

During a January 2026 Arise TV interview, Nasir El-Rufai alleged that President Bola Tinubu’s administration is deducting ₦100 billion monthly from the Federation Account without proper legislative approval, these unauthorized deductions have been ongoing for over 15 months, totaling approximately ₦1.5 trillion. You want to see any Nigerian benefiting from subsidy removal right? What Oti is doing came from where. |
Politics › Re: APGA To Abaribe: You Were Suspended, Not Sacked, Don’t Mislead Senate by Vision101(m): 11:54am On Mar 20 |
Maobichek: Good morning, you said that you live in Aba, that you live (not lived i.e before now) at Osisioma but your profile says that you live in Lagos. Osisioma is not Aba but outskirt of Aba, it's only outsiders that sees Osisioma as Aba. Let me clarify this: Goshen is in Nassarawa state but people sees the Church as an Abuja Church also both Cannan land and Redeem Camp are not in Lagos but they are being referred to as Lagos Churches.
Ossy Pristege representated Aba North/South while Solomon Adelu represented Osisioma. I lived at Aba so i saw the boreholes and free buses mostly parked at Park/Pound Rd on weekends.
It's absurd when people believe that IPOB/Nnamdi kanu made Abaribe popular; Abaribe have been in the Senate before the coming of Nnamdi kanu/IPOB, please use your Google.
TA Orji representating Abia Central was the one who should have signed the surety for Nnamdi kanu who is also his brother and from the same senatoral zone but Abaribe did because TA Orji was afraid.
NB: we are all here to learn, i pray you do because i personally don't do politics, thank you. You think that I'm lying. I live in Lagos but I have been working in Aba since 2014 up till now. My residence is at WBHE off MCC road. My office is on Aba Owerri Rd. I'm an igbo like you from Owerri. I can go on and on and mention different parts of Aba and Abia. There is no one school bus in Aba offered by any politician. I drive around Aba north and south regularly, there is no Abaribe borehole anywhere. Maybe he did one or two in some remote locations but that is not what he can only offer his constituents for the donkey years that he has been in the national Assembly. Let's stop hyping these politicians that are only lining their pockets. |

Maobichek: Good evening, I'm from his constituency. Abaribe is a known face in Abia South which includes: Obingwa, Ugwunagbo, Aba North, Aba South, Osisioma Ngwa etc. Most secondary schools in Aba have boreholes. He while in PDP joined hands with late Ossy Pristege to provide free buses for students in Aba. He host yearly made in Aba goods exhibition in Abuja.
Politics aside, Abaribe drives himself when in Aba without security guards. Ikpeazu forced him out of PDP, he contested against Ikpeazu under APGA and defeated a seating governor (Ikpeazu).
What we are seeing now is the only avenue to stop him come 2027 because no politician is as popular as he is in Aba.
NB: late Ifeanyi Uba left YPP and move to APC and it wasn't issue; infact he was celebrated, YPP had no crisis then. Ppl talking about new electoral law failed to realize that this law guiding defeation has been there and didn't evolve as a result of the new electoral law, thank you. I live in Aba ooo. All these are lies. Where are the buses? Where are the boreholes? I dey live for osisioma ooo. No impact of Abaribe. Ifeanyi Uba resigned from YPP and joined APC. Let Abaribe resign from APGA and join ADC. He will not because he will lose his seat. |

You are talking about track record. It's not so. It's about policies. The Nigerian economy before now was archaic. Didn't you see how the oil companies were all leaving? Do you think that anyone would have invested in our mid and downstream sectors with all those subsidies? Why was it that so many collected refinery licences but none set up? Do you think that an investor will spend his billions and one government will be somewhere controlling prices through subsidy? Tinubu's reforms is beginning to open up the Nigerian economy. This is the attraction. Until our power sector is fully liberalized it will not attract private sector investment. Atiku and pdp's privatisation was fake that's why it didn't attracted any fdi. |

There is power outage, gross infrastructural deficit, unstable govt polices, absent of the rule of law, purchasing power concern for most people and above all insecurity. Those will be the checklist for potential investors. You can score the possibility. You don't need to invite investors, they will naturally research & move towards where they can make money. So when you produce you seat back and consumers will come and find you because you have the best product? All that you listed here there's no country that has it all.
