You have some good points that you have made concerning obasanjo. But reducing debt is not a big credit. He did this while sacrificing provision of infrastructure. There was zero infrastructure provision during his and Jonathan's time and it affected service provision post their regime.

Borrowing can be reduced or eliminated by balancing your budget. If you have a revenue constraint the option will be to reduce your expenditure. Hence Nigerian governments find it difficult to reduce recurrent expenditure then the option will be to cut down on capital expenditure. This will affect our capital formation.

If you look at this budget proposal the top three are defence and security, health and education. This is commendable. I honestly agree that there are a lot of waste and corruption.

In my church we don't charge money for wedding and we don't collect offering during wedding. It costs the church much in logistics to wed people yet the church doesn't collect any money for wedding.
